Mr. Flag Man

This is a political poem I wrote in honor of this awesome gentleman that stands out on the uptown streets of my hometown, every day, holding an American flag in his hand and wearing a six-shooter on his hip, speaking with any who wish to about the Bill of Rights and what it means to be free! This is for you, Mr. Flag Man.

Hey! Mr. Flag Man

Mr. Flag Man

Carrying the Bag Man

For every American who can't

Or just wont

Bellowing out the Bill of Rights

Preaching the reasons for all the fights

It's a shame that we Can't

Just get along

Can't tell the difference Between

Right and wrong

We live a hard life

Create our own strife

But you want to save us

Save us

Save us from the chains that enslave us

Trying to open our eyes

To the disguise that has been

Pulled over the eyes

Of our leaders

Who were once great ones

Fighting in Honorable wars to be Won

Not for the sake of

Having the Biggest GUN

For these reasons you hold up your Flag

Our Flag

For these reasons you deserve

To be saluted

Honored

And your reasons never disputed

You are

A true American Hero

Never even saw zero

Cause you always stand tall

Tearing down the walls

Of tyranny

Screaming out to those beyond

"Are you hearing Me?!"

Yes, sir, Mr. Flag Man

Holding the Bag Man

For all those that CAN

But simply choose to put there head in the sand

Lets give him a hand

My Hero

Mr. American Flag Man!
