How Does It Feel?

You walk down the isle
With tears as your veil
And shame as your shoes.

Judgmental eyes
Stare you down
Curiously
Wondering why you're here.

Each step you take
One foot after another
Trying to stablize yourself
While walking all over me.

One step after another
Coming closer and closer
As the world tells you don't.

Don't come any closer
Walk away
Leave her alone.

But you wouldn't listen
You're pride was covering your ears
Before you could hear your
Destruction.

Your set fate.
Your burden to carry.
Your label given.
At the destination.

At the destination
You see me
Still and lifeless
Eyes open
But dark.

Skin pale
Pulse gone
My mind
At peace.

How does it feel
To be the reason
The reason of this tragedy
The reason of my breath
Being taken away
Vanished from me?

How does it feel
To be the reason
To someone's depression
Sadness
Anxiety and fear?

Are you proud
Are you happy with yourself
Do you like what you see in the mirror?

Do you like seeing others
Being picked on for no reason?
Or how about others
Being beaten terribly
To alleviate someone's anger?

Now tell me
Do you like what you see?
All of this injustice
Taking place because of unstable
Emotions?

How do you feel
About it?
Does it anger you?
Do these actions look
Something like a monster would do?

Because in reality
When you look in the mirror
The monster is you.

They warned you
And told you to leave her alone.
To walk away.
But you wouldn't listen.
You kept going and going
Closer and closer
Even when it hurt you.

Until you reached
Your final destination
There lies your fate
The girl's corpse
Hanging from the tree
Lifeless, empty.
With a note in her hand
Saying,

"Here is a fruit for the crows to pluck,
For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck,
For the sun to rot, for a tree to drop,
Here is a strange and bitter crop."
