Three Cheers for Aunt Susie
Aunt Susie,
My Mentor, My Friend, My Teacher,
Understanding and sweet,
She teaches her students,
About not only the world's history,
But also the school's they will be in,
That hold the keys to their future,
She shows the parents their student's skill,
Awe worthy presentations of art and history,
Of the graduating class that year,
Many students from many years past,
All remember Susie fondly,
Some for many different reasons,
One thing I want to say is,
"Three Cheers For Susie,
One for teaching,
'Cause we always tried to goof around,
Two for laughing and caring,
And including us,
From silly classroom games to big field trips,
Three for helping us,
Preparing us for the biggest moment,
We could have in our academic experience,
For she has given us her knowledge,
Hip, Hip, Hooray,"
In all the years she taught,
We can also teach and help others,
She gave away so much love,
And the people she gave it to was us,
Her students, friends,
Her fellow teachers, and her family,
She gave us hope, courage, and determination,
Helping us to go on long after she taught us,
And her Influence to push on,
Into what we love to do,
She did so much work for the students,
With Uncle James or alone,
Her students now remember her fondly,
As this was last year she taught,
Her students surely got her very best,
Just as all of her students have,
And as this celebratory poem comes to a close,
I have five fun words to say,
Three Cheers For Aunt Susie!
