Levy's POV

I cannot sleep so I decide to go and get a drink. I walk down the hall as I hear talking from my parents room. I sneak over to them as I listen to their conversation.

"...make sure she stays safe," I  hear my mother tell my father

"But she's our baby girl. How can we keep her safe?"

"We just need to keep an eye on her and make sure her powers stay hidden. Gajeel and Juvia can keep her safe until we can explain everything to her," Mom says.

"Yes I know dear. But to learn you are a Fairy, and the Princess of them is a big deal. And her real parent will be furious that we are letting a Dragon protect her."

"Your brother will understand John."

"How? He haven't been himself since his wife died giving birth to Levy. He only became King of the Fairies when he married her mother. We are just humans Martha! And we don't know the first thing about being a Fairy."

"I know dear. But we must stay strong for Levy. We must keep her safe until her 20th birthday when he comes to get her. We can survive two more years."

"Then what will happen? Will she disappear from our life? Levy is like our daughter. After your miscarriage we were deviated. And then when he comes and just gives us Levy. We were all but joyful to take her in and raise her as our own. He shouldn't be her father...he never acted as on," Dad says. "I don't even think Levy wants to go with him."

"I know....do Fairies have Tails," my mother ask my father.

"No...we can't leave her with them. Martha you know we don't trust mages or pirates. But Pirate mages?! Are you insane?!"

"Hush now John. I am not. We have three mages with us and we both know it's the only option. We will leave Gajeel, Juvia, and Levy at the island with their belongings. We will then leave and keep Phantom Lord from finding them and keep them away. I will leave Levy a note and explain why and who to find. Once they find and join Fairy Tail we will find them and explain everything after we know Phantom Lord is not after her or us anymore," she says as my father sighs.

I hold my hands over my mouth as a back away. Tears are at the brim of my eyes as I hear my 'parents' fall asleep. I close my eyes as I race up the stairs onto the deck. I quickly and quietly goes into the crows nest as I put my head into my knees. I cry and my knees muffle it. I hear footsteps as they climb the rope to where I am sitting.

"Shrimp? Are ya ok," I hear Gajeel's voice as he sits next to me.

I just sit there as I shake lightly from what I learned from Martha and John. They are not my parents, yet my aunt and uncle. I remove my head as I look at Gajeel. His eyes are soft and gentle as he puts me on his lap. I am surprise at the jester as he hugs me. We sit there for sometime as Gajeel just calms me down. He carefully rubs my back.

"What's the matter Shorty? I'm here ta help ya," I hear Gajeel whisper.

I take some calm breath as I tell him what I overheard them say. I look at Gajeel as he gets angry at them. I hug him as we sit in silence.

"Why didn't they tell ya? That is no way to treat yer niece or anyone for that matter! If they really love ya they should have told ya before ya figured it out or before yer real father comes ta get ya ta go ta the Fairy Kingdom," Gajeel says as he looks at me. "It ain't right or fair for ya. Tomorrow we are gonna talk to 'em and make 'em tell us why they didn't tell ya before. 'Cause now they lost yer trust."

"I don't understand...if I'm suppose to be a Fairy then why don't I remember my mother or my father? And why don't I have wings?"

"Maybe a spell or something else Shrimp," Gajeel says. "Let's get ya back to yer room and ya have ta sleep."

I nod my head as I yawn. Gajeel picks me up as he brings me down the from the crow's nest.

"I will tell Juvia tomorrow," I say as I close me eyes.

"Sounds fine to me," Gajeel says as I drift off to sleep.
