Gajeel's POV

I look at her father as he sigh.

"I guess we have to do this the hard way," he says as he smirks.

He pulls his sword out. Erza stands in front of him with her sword.

"You want to harm my friends you have to get pass me," she tells him.

"Fine by me pirate scum," he says.

Erza and the current Fairy King stare each other down, waiting for the other to make the first move. I hold Lev and I make sure no Fairy is trying to sneak up and grab her. I see the Fairy King smirking and then I feel something cold on the back of my neck.

"Move and your dead," a male voice says.

Everyone gasp and step away from me.

"Gajeel," Erza says.

She turns to come help and that is when the Fairy King attack her. Erza turns quickly and stop the sword. The fairy gets off of the bar and walks around me as he face me. His orange hair is up and his sword is still pointing at me.

"Unhand my wife and remove whatever spell you have on her," he says.

"Who gave ya da right ta call Shrimp yers? I don't think she did," I tell him.

"Her father promised me her hand in marriage Dragon," he says as he spats the word 'dragon', lace with hate and venom. "Now let her go."

"No way Speedy. She doesn't wanna be with ya guys. An' Shrimp have a right with where she wanna live," I tell him.

"Then you will be executed once we are happily married," he says as he thrust his sword at me.

My fellow pirates call my name out. I smirk and dodge the sword. I hop over the bar to give me some distance between Speedy. I smirk as I look at the Fairy.

"Ya hafta be faster than that to get me," I tell him.

He growls and keeps trying to kill me. I keep dodge and Shrimp is still asleep in my arms.

"Why won't you let me kill you," Speedy says as his attacks get sloppy.

"I'm not gonna die," I say as I kick him in the face.

He flies backwards and hits the wall. Speedy groans and gets up. He grabs his sword and looks at me. I look at Shrimp to see that she is still asleep.

"Dang Shrimp. How da hell are ya sleeping through dis whole fight," I mutter.

"What did you say Gajeel," Levy ask sleepily as she open her eyes.

"An' now ya wake up. Anyways, yer pops is here an' is trying ta take ya away from us," I tell her as I set her down.

"Oh ok," she says as she stands next to me. "Oh look. It's Jet."

"His name is Jet," I say as I point towards the red head.

"Yup. I'm guessing he's the guy my dad is going to force me to marry," Levy says.

"Not if I stop 'em," I tell Levy.

She smiles and nod her head. I look over at Titania to see her fighting the Fairy King.

"Alright then. Let's stop dis an' let ya choose yer own destiny," I say as I smirk.

Levy nods her head in agreement and we get ready to defeat Jet.

"GeeHee. Dis is gonna be fun," I say as I smirk.

Jet yells and charges at me.
