Chapter 12
You shivered rubbing your arms in your cold home. You watched your carrier from the hall. She.... she just seemed tired. As she stared at the dark screen of the projector. Her helm was tilted slightly down her optics half lidded as she turned her gaze to her servos. Her optics were glazed as though she would start to cry. Glitter dusted over cheek bones the lids of her optics made a dark purple.
She just sat there alone and quiet. She's looked so much different than usual. She didn't need look like the confident self respecting bot like usual. She looked broken her shoulder plates shivering her painted red bottom derma quivering.
"Didnât I tell ye t' go t' recharge young one? Donât ye 'ave school in th' mornin'?" she addressed you in her accent, not the one she adapted too
"I-I..." you broke out softly, "Iâm sorry fer whatever I did t' make ye hate me carrier..."
She blinked and looked back at you, "Wha?"
You tapped your digits together, "Well... I know ye work hard fer me.. But Auntie said itâs bad yeâre nah feedin' me 'n leavin' me alone fer so long... so I wanna say Iâm sorry fer whatever I did..." You spoke softly
She stared at you her dermas parted and brows turned up, "(Y/n)..."
"Iâm sorry... Iâll go t' recharge now.." you spoke turning
She didn't yell, she didn't try to sooth you. She just sat there watching after you. You felt so alone in your own home.
You stared at yourself in the reflective serface. You bandna was held in your servo as you scanned your faceplate, your thin audio fins twitched. Your optics traced along your lean jaw to your dermas. You could see the stunning image of your carriers beautiful face.
It was a compete accident how you got To this situation now. You were just limping passed towards your berth room and now you here you were trapped in your own reflection that struck you so much as an important bot from your past. Absentmindedly a tear slipped down your face your dermas parted as your carriers face flashed through.
Your spark began to pump adrenaline through you. There was a crash and the sound of glass shattering. You vented deeply pulling your fist back your spark slowing. You turned your gaze to the small glass chunks imbedded into the soft spots of your digits. Energon trialed down and dropped onto the floor. You lowered it and looked at your face in the shattered mirror. The pain in your chassis was amplified from the pain in your side.
You tilted your chin up blinking away tears, "Iâm nah ye." You spoke to no one walking away

You blinked at the knock on the door and stood up stiffly to open it. You hummed at a worried Prowl at the door. He looked like he wanted to reach out and touch you, but didn't.
"Prowler." You spoke crossing your arms
"I am very sorry..." he spoke sincerely, "I a man so very sorry, I didn't- I never-"
You sighed softly cupping his cheek, "No, Prowler, 'twas me fault. I should 'ave tried t' reason wit' ye more. 'n watched where I was throwin' me grapple.."
He shook his helm, "N-no I had let the mods get to my processor and I let you get hurt..." his digits brushed over your bandaged side, "I'm sorry..."
you sighed and wrapped your arms around him, "Hush." You spoke softly, "Letâs jus' agree weâre both at fault hmm?"
He murmured softly pulling you closer himself hiding his face in your neck cabling. You chuckled breathily loving the feeling of him near.
