Did you know that?

You shine the brightest among everyone
You bring waves of happiness with yourself.
Cheering up everyone around you.

And sometimes you feel so surreal
So they keep on guessing

But I know
Its your charisma dear
That steals people's heart.
That sets you apart like the moon shining among the billions of stars in the sky
And
I call you moonchild.

You reflect its beauty in your eyes.
You carry its charm in your smile.

And in the wild silence of the night
When you thought no one is looking.
I was there.
I have seen you cry.
I have heard you sobbing.

But
After hours of weeping,
I've seen you smile with same contagious smile you own.

You smile watching the moon.

And I smile watching your moonlit face.

Maybe there's something.
Isn't it?
You and moon?
Some bond that's unbreakable?
Too special for words to describe

And maybe,
I have started to love it too.

I guess you are the same to me
What the moon is to you.

Its your sight that I call my moonlight.
You soothe me with your presence.
You lift me up with your smile.

But we both are so far away,
You from the moon

And I am from you.

I wrote this back in 2017, when Namjoon's "I call you moonchild.." in 4 o'clock struck me good. That man is my biggest inspiration. Also this poem features in one of my Taehyung ff "Explore love"
