~Yosafire's POV~
Looking through the window I watched as Kagome ran around playing with Tsumuri and picking flowers merrily. "And how might my love be doing today," I jumped and turned around to see Licorice walking through the door. Its been a few years and like he promised to marry me and did when he did he made it big and showered me with gifts. I found it weird and over the top, but he insisted that it was because he harmed me more than he could ever make up for and decided that by creating new and happy memories that he could make up such behavior from when we were younger.
"I see your home early," I set the dishes I was doing down and turned off the water, "so how did it go?" Licorice has been training with his brother and father about some of the nightmare-ish powers that come from the Pitch-Black World. "Very well actually though I still hate my father and don't like being around him for very long," Licorice sat down at the table and sighed, "where are the two children?" I sat down as well and picked up the coloring pages the two were doing and hummed softly, "outside playing." Wadanahora kept to her promise and brought sight to Tsumuri's eyes and he was able to see like everyone else. From time to time, Wadanahora would bring the village I lived in for seven years to greet me and hang around before it was time to go back to the icy island.
"Mama," I looked up to see Tsumuri run into my arms and smiled wide, "when is Uncle Glasses coming over again?" I looked over at Licorice for answers but he had already fallen asleep sitting in the chair. Shaking my head I looked back down at Tsumuri, "I have no idea, sweetie, maybe if you wake your father then he could tell you when Uncle Glasses is coming to visit," I gave a light sigh, "besides you'll be starting school soon and won't be home all the time like you were before." It's the ending of summer break and they will be heading back to school and be learning with all of the younger generation. Tsumuri gave a sad look before he ran over to Licorice and jumped up on his lap, jolting Licorice awake. "Daddy when is Uncle Glasses coming over?" Tsumuri asked once more, as Licorice made a confused look and looked over at me.
I shrugged my shoulders and got up to only hear Kagome running through the doorway while dragging Kurotsuno into the room. "Mom," she panted, "can Kurotsuno have a sleepover with me, pretty please?" I was shocked beyond belief as Kurotsuno lightly scratched the back of her weirdly shaped horn. "Of course, sweetie, she's always welcomed here," I smiled as Kagome jumped with joy and dragged Kurotsuno to her room. "Why is sis always acting like that?" Tsumuri asked behind me as I looked at Tsumuri and gave a small smile. "She's growing up and soon you'll be doing the same, Tsumuri," he flinched and made a funny face before looking away, "believe it or not Tsumuri, I and your father went through similar phases when we were younger."
He hopped off of Licorice's lap and hugged my legs, "I love you, mama." I gave a small smile and patted his head, "I do too, sweetie, why don't you go find your friends and play in the garden." He nodded his head as he ran out the door waving goodbye and shutting the door. "They have too much energy ya'know. They had to get it from you?" I looked over to Licorice and smiled. "Don't go acting like an elder on me know especially since it's the fourth anniversary of our marriage," I teased and he groaned smacking himself on his forehead. He forgot. That's normal since the very beginning and I chuckled at his antics. Life was wonderful, was it not, maybe.
