"Everyone ready?" Evelyn asked as she started the car.
"Mhmm," Olivia hummed, looking down at her phone and typing furiously.
"I am, and so are Cooper and Savannah," Lydia said.
"Drew?" Evelyn asked.
"Yup," he replied.
"Great. I have the mortgage," Evelyn said, patting the envelope. "I'll turn it in today."
As Evelyn was about to turn onto the street adjacent to theirs, Lydia suddenly said, "Stop the car."
Evelyn hit the breaks and Lydia yanked her door open before puking on the side of the road.
"Oh my gosh, honey, are you okay?" Evelyn asked, about to put the car in park.
Lydia climbed back in. "If you hurry, we can make it home before I puke again."
Evelyn pulled a u-ey as soon as the door closed and sped home. As she was putting the car in park, Lydia got out and puked again.

After settling Lydia inside on the couch with some blankets, a towel, and a bowl, Evelyn hurried back out to the car.
"Alright," she said as they drove away. "Is everyone else good?"
"Uh-huh," Olivia grumbled.
"Yes," Savannah and Drew chorused.
"Great."

After everyone had been dropped off at school, Evelyn stopped by the bank, finding that it was slammed.
With a sigh, she drove home to tend to Lydia, knowing the line would take hours to get through.

"Lyd, I'm home!" Evelyn called, kicking off her shoes and rushing into the living room.
"Hey Mum," Lydia mumbled.
"How are you feeling?"
"Icky," she whined. "Can we watch TV?"
"Yeah," Evelyn said, plopping down on the couch next to Lydia and clicking the power button on the remote. "Is Zootopia okay?"
Lydia nodded.
"Cool."
