Does a Weeping Willow actually weep, shedding tears for something lost? Perhaps a loved one in a previous life, for they are haunted by the image they're unconsciously attached to. Or maybe it's grieving it's own death, sorrow filled due to it's passing, feeling alone and broken. Maybe they lost something, an object, or a memory. A memory of times that have passed, their life before being a tree, gone. Perhaps this is why they weep. Or maybe they were planted in place of someone else. Someone who was lost, so the Willow became a grave. Maybe the Willow is a guardian, weeping for her lost children. Or maybe, just maybe, it's just a tree.
