Stars embossed
into the vast sky
revel in their gleaming glory
Reminiscent of gory battles
and legends encased in wonder

Sometimes shooting stars
Like intimidating streaks
Make known their presence
And sweetly sizzle about
Across the night sky

But it's all inside me
Long gone the glee
When I look up,I see
Four lonesome stars
They wink at me
