Denis POV

After Alex gets all settled in I walk him to his bathroom. I grad the bandaids from the cupboard and some jell. I can see the pain in his eyes as I put the jell onto his cuts as soon as he washed them off. Soon we get done and walk out. It was time to introduce him to my family.

Before I even get to the stairs my little sister comes down followed by my little brother. "That's Jess and that's Max." I say pointing towards them. I walk upstairs while Alex follows and leads him to my other younger brother and sister. "That's Cindy and Seamos." I say motioning towards them. "That's Jill and Jamie, they're phoneiacts. And then that my mom and my dad. The little girl in the crib is named Tini." I finish. I can see he is trying to put all the names together.

"Tini is the youngest. Jess is the second youngest and then Max. Seamos is next followed by Cindy and myself. Next we have the twins Jill and Jamie. My mom and dad are there and my grandma is in her room sleeping."

He looks stunned as I name off my family members. I look at the clock. It was 6:28 and I was hungry but I could smell the food in the kitchen before I even saw it. Tonight was Thursday night and soup night. My mom and grandma brought out the soup to the large round table. Soon everyone was sitting and starring at Alex. "Um... this is Alex. Mom, dad can he stay with us?" I can see my fathers brows go low and my mothers lips tighten. "We'll talk after supper." My dad finally answers giving slight nod to my mother who gives a nod back.

After supper I drag Alex to my parent room when they were watching a movie. "Denis... You know how hard it is already..." My mother says flatly. Alex hasn't said anything at all. "Please mom. He will help around the house and won't get in the way of things!" I put on my begging face and Alex for the first time looked at my parents. "Please?" I hear him squeak out. "Fine, but I don't want to see or hear any mistakes he's made OK Denis?" I nod my head. It had worked!

I took Alex's hand and yelled a thank you to my parents as I started to sprint to the upstairs stairs. I brought him to my room. I had already had somethings to do right away."Alex -" I begin but Alex stops my words with a hug."Thank you." He whispers and let's go. I feel the redness on my face as I look at my feet. I look back at Alex and continue on what I was saying.

"So Alex now that we are friends we need to do somethings." I grab the box of bracelets and bring two out. "Friends?" I ask handing him a bracelet. He pauses and thinks. "Friends." he says and takes the bracelet out of my hand putting it on. "Now what?" He asks. "Um..." I look at the clock. It was only an hour before bed which meant it was time to settle down and get ready for bed. "Let's get ready for bed." I say grabbing my toothbrush.

He smiles a this-is-where-I-belong smile and walks out of the room. I had made for real friend tonight. Maybe his friends would except me too. Although it had only been about a week into school it felt like a year already.

I finish brushing put on my pjs and crawl into bed. Soon it would be the weekend and he and Alex could do many things. I tried to stay awake thinking about all the thing we could do together. All the things friends do. Soon sleep won and I fell asleep with my bracelet on. Then a thought hit me. Would I make more friends other than Alex's? Only the future will tell. Soon sleep won and I fell asleep.

Hey everybody almost the last chapter and sooty for the short one, but I didn't really want to skip school. Or make it longer on the weekends.
