Lucy's POV

When my mother died everything was blur an absolute unclear picture. The first time I started seeing things clearly was when my father told me the news. He had arranged for me to get married, that was when the blur faded and all of the things I had felt came pouring out of me. So what I had decided to do was run away, from England to California, where I had wanted to go since I was 7 years old. Where my childhood best friend was where it was sunny and had nice weather all year round. I packed my bags and took off with out saying a word to anyone.

Time Skip

After the plane ride. I got off the plane and headed to the nearest hotel and checked in. Then it was time to find him and see how he is. It was time to find Natsu. I walked to the library and googled him and his address came up and it wasn't far from my hotel! My stomach filled with butterflies as I walked up to the house."what if he doesn't remember me?" "what if he thinks i'm a stalker?". Well now its too late I said to myself as I rang the doorbell. "ding dong''. Um hi Natsu right?

Natsu's POV

LUCY!!, what the heck are you doing here ''well I just stopped by to see if you'd remember me''. Remember you how could I forget you. " wow you haven't changed a bit have you". Nope not much but you, I mean just look at you, the only way I could remember you is by those beautiful brown eyes of yours. '' uh huh thanks " she said shyly. So what are you doing in California. All of a sudden she got a sad look on her face signaling that she just remembered why she was here.

Lucy's POV

A single tear came rolling down my cheek and I looked up to face him and tell him why I was here but instead I started crying. ''Hey, Hey , its gonna be ok'' he said comfortingly as he wrapped me in a tight hug and led me inside. ''Luce, what's wrong''. M-My M-mother she, she passed away last month and my father turned cold and he set up an arranged marriage. As soon as the last two words rolled of my tounge Natsu got a mad expression on his face, it was like he wanted to punch the wall. ''Luce im so sorry do you need a place to stay there's no one else here except me''. ''but what about your dad''.'' he uh passed away too''. ''Oh sorry ''. Don't worry about, he said as he gave me a toothy grin, so you got a place to stay or what. Well not really but if its too much trouble I-Nope your staying here Luce go get your stuff and theres a guest room upstairs. Natsu, thank you so much. I said as I wrappe him in the tightest hug ever.
