Cake is sweet, and revenge ain't bitter
Also credit to @justhereforthehermit for the revenge idea. I know I mentioned it last time but it started there, and it really kicks off here. As to prove my point here's a line.
"A life for a life Scar..."
________________________________________________________
POV: Cub/Scar
Cub grinned and held up his prize. He had found what he had been looking for. He cackled as put it in a cage. Grinning, he hooked the cake to some ropes, suspending it into the air. He set the Jellie 2.0 on the table after releasing it. He fed it some warm milk and wet food, stroking it's fur until it went to sleep.
Slowly, he crept away from the creature, and checked the ropes and hooks. He smiled. They were ready and completely unsturdy. Grinning he made sure the cat was asleep before messaging Scar.
Scar
"Hey Scar!"
"hEEEEEEYYYYYYyyyyy!"
"I got the cake"
"..."
"u got it?"
"Yep"
"OK HEAR ME OUT"
"DONTKILLMEDONTKILLMEDONTKILLME"
"dude"
"calm the heck down Im not gonna kill u"
"Steeeellllllllll"
"Still. Ur fine."
"Ur up to something"
"yeah"
"I am"
"I'm de-trapping ConCorp thanks to Grian."
"oooooHHHHH"
"Yep"
"Well! Need help then?"
"Uhm sure I guess! You don't gotta come tho if Ur busy"
"I'm not, just looking for the queen, maybe she's there"
"Be there in 10"
"Ok, good luck, cya!"
"Cya!"
Cub grinned as he turned off his phone. This was going to be awesome. He double checked his escape and the wires. Still both were all good. Silently, he paced the room waiting for his frien-. No. His enemy. Waiting for his enemy. As fate would dire, not to long after he heard footsteps.
"Scar????!!!"
"HMMMMMMMMM?"
"Over here!"
Scar rounded the corner, smiling. "Hey Cub!" Cub smiled. "Why hello scar!" "Soooo! Whatcha needin' help with?" Immediately Cub's smiled turned to a sneer. "Do you know what you did Scar?" Scar took a step back, only to have Cub take a step right. Scar took a step left, Cub took one right. Slowly, Cub had backed Scar into a wall, facing the Jellie. Scars eyes went wide. "Is that Jellie?!!"
Cub smirked. "You bet."
Scar instantly started calling for the cat. "Jellie! Pspspspspspsps! C'mere baby!"
The cat did nothing, it just peeked over at him and meowed.
"Huh....? She's never done that bef-" Cub cut him off. "Well we all get surprised when our friends do the unexpected now don't we?"
Realization dawned on Scar's face. "I-is this about the cake...?"
Cub sneered. "It's about much more than that GoodTimesWithScar."
The shorter one looked at him in . "..you never call me that...." Cub took a step back. "And Jellie never ignored your calls, but yet she did. Try calling her if you want, it won't work though."
Scar clapped his hands together, trying to get the attention of Jellie. "Pspspspspspspspspspspspsps! Jellie? Baby girl! C'mere sweetie! Come on! Please girl....! Please.....?"
The cat did nothing and Cub smirked. He pulled out his sword and grinned at his enemies fear. He looked at Scar who was now backed up into the wall completely. With a quick glance behind him, he knew he was where he needed to be. His voice dropped to a whisper. A cold, silent, emotionless whisper.
"A life for a life Scar..."
----------------------
Scar smiled and hummed a tune. He was sure Jellie was around here somewhere. It was the place she had jumped off of! He pulled back some bushes, and rapidly searched for his prized possession. He was trying not to freak out. She always came back sometime or other! A buzz came from his pocket, signifying a message. It was from Cub.
Cub
"Hey Scar!"
"hEEEEEEYYYYYYyyyyy!"
"I got the cake"
"..."
"u got it?"
"Yep"
"OK HEAR ME OUT"
"DONTKILLMEDONTKILLMEDONTKILLME"

"I'm not, just looking for the queen, maybe she's there"
"Be there in 10"
"Ok, good luck, cya!"
"Cya!"
The innocent man smiled and made his way to the store, thinking of how we would compliment his cat when he found her. He heard a voice from down the hallway. He smiled and responded.
"Scar????!!!"
"HMMMMMMMMM?"
"Over here!"
Scar rounded the corner, still smiling. "Hey Cub!" Cub smiled. "Why hello scar!" "Soooo! Whatcha needin' help with?" Scar got slightly scared as his friend sneered. "Do you know what you did Scar?" He took a step back, only to have Cub take a step right. He took a step left, Cub took one right. Scar kept taking steps, only to realize that Cub backed him into a corner. Then he noticed something. "Is that Jellie?!!"
Cub smirked. "You bet."
Scar wasted no time. "Jellie! Pspspspspspsps! C'mere baby!"
He was shocked. Jellie NEVER did that! She NEVER ignored his calls...!
"Huh....? She's never done that bef-" Cub stopped him short. "Well we all get surprised when our friends do the unexpected now don't we?"
Oh. This was about the cake wasnt it? He didn't know Cub would be this mad though... "I-is this about the cake...?"
Cub sneered. "It's about much more than that GoodTimesWithScar."
Scar looked at Cub, shocked and kinda scared. "..you never call me that...." Cub took a step back. "And Jellie never ignored your calls, but yet she did. Try calling her if you want, it won't work though."
Instantly, he clapped and snapped his hands and fingers, making sounds, trying to get the attention of his child. "Pspspspspspspspspspspspsps! Jellie? Baby girl! C'mere sweetie! Come on! Please girl....! Please.....?"
When the cat did nothing, Scar turned to fear. Cub sneered, glanced back at the cat, then back to him. He leaned in close and whispered the most frighting words.
"A life for a life Scar..."
----------------------(Third person for this)
The hatted hermit raised his arms in defense, covering his face, and trembled. "P-please Cub! I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean toooo!!" The other smirked. "Who said it was your life?"
Scar's eyes went wide in realization, and he barely made out the words. "...no!"
Cub turned, jumped up and cut the ropes, forcing Scar to watch as the cake fell.... and fell... and fell, until it didn't. Until it didn't fall, because...
because...
because it hit.
----------------------
Scar fell to the ground, in tears and sobbing. "W-why!? Y-you stupid m-monster!! I-I hate you!" Cub didn't respond, quickly taking off leaving Scar there, sobbing. He crawled over to the scene. He pushed the cake away and looked down at the cat. He grabbed the cat and cradled her in his arms, sobbing. "J-jellieee!.... N-NO!..... W-WHHhhyyy! Why... why did this have to happen.... I-" He sniffled, trying and failing to keep control, somehow finishing. "I-I'm so sorry..." He held her and cried. And when his tears ran dry he continued tearless crying and shaking. He sobbed and wailed and cried and sobbed and wailed and cried and sobbed and wailed and cried.
This.... it couldn't be happening! It couldn't! He refused to believe it! But it did happen..... and it was real....
Tears streamed down his face, getting his clothes wet and causing hair to stick to his face. The cats fur became drenched and pools of tears formed on the ground and his throat hurt and his heart hurt and he hurt and the tear streaks changed to patterns across his face with some running dry and he felt the burning tears burn his skin cold and his eyes crept to being red and puffy. All his joy had just perished before him. He had watched his soul be crushed before him. He cried even harder, feeling the emotion of sadness pang against his heart, not trying to take over, because it already had, but just causing more harm because it could. He couldn't do this. It was too much for him. All he ever loved was gone— and he'd do anything get it back. He'd even be ok with being covered in snakes just for a goodbye! Yet, you can't reverse the past.
He cried even more as he was miserably failing to accept what happened. More tears drenched them both, and his sobs made his ribs rattle. As for his heart, he couldn't feel it tearing for it was already long-gone shattered. People say you can fix broken things- but not this. This he wouldn't recover from. He wouldn't be able to heal from this, as it simply hurt to much.
You can remove a thorn, and pull a splinter. You can fix a bone and transfer a heart. But you can't mend one. You can fix and wrap injuries, but those are physical. You can't take back actions and words. And you can't undo them. Emotional wounds were something that never really get fixed. They could get better, but not healed. You can think they're better but every little detail and memory, phrases and actions, they all reminded you of what happened. They were life's way of reminding you that it was in control. It was the smallest of things that un-buried that burden. And nobody, nobody could fix this.
He clutched flattened cat close to his chest so hard, it would've broken her lungs and ribs and bones.
But it didn't.
Because he couldn't break what's already broken....
Jellie.
Jellie was dead...

(Ok, so I'd just like to say- DONTKILLMEDONTKILLMEDONTKILLMEDONTKILLMEEEE! Also I'd like to say- PLEEAASSEEEDONNNTTTKILLLLMEEEEEEEEEEE!)
(Also! Two questions again! Chapters left for you to answer: 2. That's two more chapters left until I make the final choice)
1. Should I do a chapter with everyone's POV? (It would take longer to get out tho)
2. Should I drag the idea guys into a war to?
2a. If you think yes for question 2, I already have an idea on how to, but if you want to, tell me any ideas you may have on how I could, and (with permission) I may end up using it instead of mine of using it with mine!
[EDIT: I fixed like 20 mistakes after posting so yeah just a heads up]
