We All Begin To Remember, Isa...

"Lea, I really don't think sneaking into this place is a good idea, what happens when we get caught?" The redhead ahead of myself just laughed, shaking his messy mop of hair as he shook his head at my worry.

I still think the same of you now as I did those years ago my friend: You were never one to worry about life too much, were you?

"Isa, you worry too much, ya know, it'd do you some good to lighten up! Besides, it's not when we get caught it's if we get caught!" He laughed and playfully shoved me, to which I had returned the favor with the same joyful laughter.

So young, so carefree, so close, more brothers than friends...  I thought about that memory more often now that the two of us had become a part of the Organization, more so as he seems to become closer to that new girl.. (y/x/n). I'm not surprised in the slightest, he always had a way of picking up stray puppies, like that kid Ventus those years ago, but something about her seems to tickle an older memory in the back of my mind. I made my way into the common room to see what all the commotion was about, and here she was facing off against Luxord in a card game, Demyx by her side watching in awe.  Just as I was approaching, Axel came in carrying (y/x/n)'s mission file, so I retreated into the hallway and watched from afar. "(Y/x/n), mission's up." Axel said as he tossed her the file, which to my surprise she didn't even looking up from her and Luxord's game, catching it effortlessly without spilling it's contents. Impressive for someone who has only been here a hundred and twenty eight days, has me wondering if she perhaps had some kind of combative skill before she came to us, maybe she is remembering what she was supposed to have forgotten.. Her past life.. If she remembers that, it could jeopardize everything we are striving for...  Pushing aside my thoughts for now, I watched as Axel plopped down on the couch beside Demyx whose gaze was fixated on the heated card game before him, clearly in awe of (Y/x/n)'s gaming skill.   Impressive, she's managed to last this long against him, but I doubt she truly has any chance of.. (Y/x/n) let out a quiet giggle as she proceeded to take the munny away from Luxord, who only sighed in defeat. Huh sounds like.. no, they.. those two couldn't possibly be one in the same girl...   "YO SHE WINS AGAIN!!" Demyx suddenly shouts jarring me from my thoughts making my focus snap back to the common room.   Wait, she wins... AGAIN? She actually bested Luxord?    Axel jumped up and fidgeted for a moment the abruptly cleared my throat as the other three in the room glanced at him with slight confusion. "Uh, congrats (Y/x/n)", he replied to their glances in a clearly uncomfortable tone and gave (y/x/n) an awkward thumbs up which had them looking at him in more confusion," welp I guess it's time to get started on our missions am I right?" He said exiting the main room, his pace quickening with each step, not even noticing I was standing in the hallway.  Evidently neither did (y/x/n) as she chase after him. I sighed,  How can I believe we are still the duo we once were after he chose Roxas over me? The three of us could've been at least some sort of friends, like when we young and met her.. She was the whole reason we became apart of this mess, this order with such a higher purpose... Lea, we did this to know what happened to Subject X.    I began to think to myself about how we met her as I made my way to my room

The redhead ahead of myself just laughed, shaking his messy mop of hair as he shook his head at my worry. "Isa, you worry too much, ya know, it'd do you some good to lighten up! Besides, it's not when we get caught it's if we get caught!" He laughed and playfully shoved me, to which I had returned the favor with the same joyful laughter. The two of us, from other kids in our school, heard a rumor that the castle was haunted so we had decided to investigate the rumors. we quieted down as we snuck our way into the castle, getting semi-lost in its bland interior, and that when we heard it. A faint whisper of a girl, far down the hallway. "Isa, do you hear that? It's the ghost!" Lea had quietly shouted, fist bumping the empty air above his head. I shook my head, hoping it was something rather simple that I could easily debunk. However, I didn't find myself that lucky, as I had seen nor heard any female in the castle. Leas had pressed on, nearly running leaving me to struggle to keep up and remain silent. We rounded a corner at the end of the hallway and that's when realized there was no ghost. Just her... She sat alone, head resting against a corner of the small, bland, white, windowless cell. Her (fairer version of your current hair color)hair fell around her head like a (previously mentioned color) curtain to shield her from the outside world. An eerie silence sat over the three of us, the of silence was just so, you could hear the faintest sound of her uneasy breathing and her tears as the hit the floor. She reminded me of a bird trapped inside a cage.. I never was one to be first in conversations, one to be loud, or to make my presence known unless necessary, but for some reason, I spoke first, breaking the silence. "Hey, miss, are you okay?" I whispered, slightly startling her, making her raise her head. She wiped away her tears with the back of her hands, not speaking to me, but nodded a simple yes. Lea came closer to the bars, asking a little louder than myself, "Can you talk?" he asked her. The (h/c) haired girl sat silent in a bit of contemplation before shaking her head no. As if she did not want to speak to anyone more than necessary. She turned to face us more, revealing beautiful (e/c) colored eyes, and with a soft voice decided to answer Lea truthfully. "I-I do, just n-not much." She told him, earning a smile from him as he asked her, " Great, so what's your name?" She again sat in silence, like she never truly remembered half of her own self.  "I'm called ... Subject X, that's all they've ever called me  since I've been here. "

And that day we met her, befriended her, but after some time, she disappeared from the castle. Never knowing why, Lea and I vowed to join as guards to hopefully learn what happened to our friend..  As I was about to step into my room, I heard movement in (y/x/n)'s room then Axel left his room drained of color, worry written all over his face. "What happened?" I asked, asserting my authoritative tone, though I truly did worry for my friend. He simply mumbled at his feet. "What was that? Speak up to your supervisor." I said and he looked up at me, tears look like the were threating to prick his eyes, we don't feel emotions Axel....

"(y/x/n) collapsed just like... like Roxas did....."
