Trash The Camp
ding crack doing
" Come on Tantor! Oh I love it"
Crash rip boing
I stirred in my sleep from all the shouting and commotion going on just a small distance from myself. I rubbed my eyes, sitting up on the soft mashed grass below, and began slowly looked around. "What in the-" I couldn't even finish my sentence as I made my way to the clearing of what I had assumed to be a campsite. Or what would soon cease to be a campsite as a band of gorillas and elephant were making amuck of things in an odd concert.
Wait a minute, the gorilla said Tantor... Oh no Kala is going to eat those two alive for this
I chuckled light heartedly at the thought, smiling knowing I was safe here in Deep Jungle, and watched the "show" before me.
" I FEEL SOMETHIN HAPPENIN HEREEE!" I heard the familiar and unmistakable voice of the very outspoken Terk ring out over the noise as the group began to sing.

I laughed as I saw a shadow flying by overhead, knowing full and well who it was flying above vine by vine. I came out of my hiding spot as I watched him land but hestated taking another step. He was with someone. "Gorillas!" The now known lady said in aw with a funny accent. If shes never seen gorillas, she must not be from around here.... I stepped beside her as Tarzan stepped over to his family. "It's funny how he fits in so well when with them, but we are nothing but strangers to him, huh?" I said quietly causing her to jump away from me, I smiled softly to show I mean well. "Oh hello, yes it is but at the same time it is a wonder. You seem to speak more intelligible than Tarzan. Have you been here long Miss?" The now more relaxed lady asked. I shook my head, I knew the rules of the worlds, never say you're an outsider. "Not long but long enough I suppose, so I don't believe we introduced ourselves." I say smiling extending a hand. She took it, "Hello, I'm Jane, and you are?" Before I could answer Tarzan did it for me. odd how he can say my name, albeit a strange name ,but nothing else really "(Y/x/n)!" He ran over, engulfing me in a hug, "What are you doing here?" I smiled and said I was just passing through. In a moment of brief joy, I had forgotten about Jane being there with us. When I looked back at her and apologized and I explained that I could understand Tarzan's way of communicating as I had been taught on previous trips to Deep Jungle. She smiled and seemed to considered this to be the most delightful experience of her whole life. Since I had never seen Jane in this world before, I assumed it would only be polite to ask her what she was doing here. She told me of how her and her father were here with a crew to see and observe the gorillas in their natural habitat. Then a huge gorilla, Kerchak, roared at her, signaling Tarzan and the other gorillas to follow him and I hid back into the forest.
"Jane? Jane?" A proudly spoken male voice called out, followed by a more soft spoken man,"Jane, where are you ? Jane !" I watched as a short, white haired, elderly man ran over to Jane. "Oh, Jane, oh, thank goodness. Good heavens, what happened ? Are you alright? We've beeneverywhere looking foryou." The man asked, clearly he seemed to be Jane's father. Heh, reminds me of Merlin... I wonder how you are nowadays I decided to leave the group be, and go after Tarzan and the others. Staying hidden as much as possible, I listen to Kerchak talk to everyone about the new comers to their world. "Everyone, we will avoid the strangers, do not let them see you, and do not seek them out." Tarzan was quick to protest his leader. "They mean us no harm, Kerchak." "Tarzan, I don't know that." " But I do. I've spent time with them." I watched as the tension built between the two. "You may be willing to risk our safety, but I'm not." Tarzan rose his voice, "Why are you threatened by anyone different from you?" Kerchak snarled at him, "Protect this family, stay away from them." Still hiding in the shadows, I watch as Kala approached her son, "Tarzan, please, for once, listen to Kerchak." She gently placed her hand on him but he pulled away, "Why didn't you tell me there were creatures that looked like me?" I stepped into the light as I watched him go up a tree and swing away. "Kala, don't blame yourself, he just needs sometime. He's just confused." trust me, I'm in the same boat myself I say placing my hand on back, softly thumbing her fur. "Oh (y/x/n), what if he does go and see those creatures? What if I lose him too?" She teared up. Oh Kala...... "Hey, hey, it's okay. I don't think that would ever happen, you are his mother, you all are his family. Family means everything to him, remember when he took down Sabor to keep you all safe? He put family first, himself second. He loves all of you and you most of all." I say as I'm hugging her, she smiles. It feels good to know I can still make people smile.
I stayed around for days, watching as Tarzan learned more about the people like himself, keeping it a secret and spending time with Kala. Being with her, has always put me at ease. I feel like I can ask and tell her everthing On this day her and I were walking back from a fruit run," Kala, do you remember the time I visited with a guy like me with red hair? The one who help me beat the black creatures?" I asked her as we sat down together snacking. "Yes, I still stick to my word that he has some feelings for you." She smiled at the heat rising to my cheeks. " Kala, I don't think he has any kind of feelings for me... He lied to me and kept a huge secret from me." I sighed taking a bite of fruit. Kala frowned, "Well, he shouldn't have done that. Secrets hurt people the longer they are kept, the same goes with lying. What did he say when you confronted him?" I explained that I didn't really give him a chance to explain himself. "Well maybe, just maybe, he was doing it to protect you. I think maybe you should give him a chance to explain himself." She said as she finished her fruit. Protect me? Protect me from what? I watched as Kala made her way back to the group, me staying behind in the shadows of the treeline. I may have helped them in the past with a couple of heartless, but to Kerchak, I'm still a stranger. Funnier still, now that I'm dwelling on it, I'm even more a stranger to myself I watched as I saw Tarzan was coming through a sunlit clearing, but he wasn't alone. The whole group was with them. Jane cautiously approached Kala with Tarzan by her side," Oh Tarzan, she's beautiful." He smiled, "She's my mother." Jane looked at him stunned, "Th-This is your... mother?" Kala kept glancing at her son as he kept reassuring her that Jane was okay, but she kept backing away. Jane and her father crouched down to her level trying to make her more comfortable in her presences. Smart people I laughed quietly as the grorillas began playing with Jane's father, trying to figure him out," This is wonderful Mr.Clayton. Look, look, social grooming!" He said with such a heartwarming laughter. I smiled but it quickly faded as I heard Clayton's voice. "Yes, coongratulations,Professor, our dream has come true. " Something in the way he spoke didn't sit right with me. It felt dark, I could feel the darkness leaking out of his heart and into his aura. I shook away the thoughts and just observed the scene before me as I heard roaring faintly in the distant. Oh no... Kerchak As if on cue, he came bursting through the forest into the clearing, chasing a poorly disguised Terk and Tantor. Kerchak looked at the scene before him confused then roars rushing at the group of "strangers" as Tarzan attacked him putting him in a choke hold, yelling at the group to run. When he finally realized what he had done he released Kerchak. "Kerchak, I didn't..I'm sorry, l-" Tarzan started but Kerchak cut him off, " I asked you to protect our family, and you betrayed us all."The group of gorillas walked away following their leader, all but Kala. " Mom, I'm so confused." She sighed, "Tarzan come with me, there's something I should have shown you a long time ago." I let my curiosity get the better of me as I quietly followed the pair to an old tree house. I listened as Kala told Tarzan everything.
secrets hurt people the longer they are kept
I watched as she tearfully spoke," Now you know. Tarzan, I just want you to be happy, whatever you decide."
Maybe those secrets don't just hurt the ones youre holding them from... Maybe they hurt you too..
Tarzan gently pulled Kala into his arms, hugging her and wipping away her tears. "No matter where I go, you will always be my mother." He softly spoke. I left the pair quietly, then wandered the jungle until the sun was high in the sky. I watched from a distance as Terk and Tantor, and three others ran to the clearing in front of me. Woah, these are some new faces
"We're too late! I can't believe it! If you'd have pulled overand asked for directions-" Terk whined starting in on Tantor as a short duck looking thing faced a boy who looked kind of familiar. "Aw Sora we're too late.." Tantor and a goofy looking dog creature chimed in, with sad complaints, "We didn't get to say goodbye." Terk fired back at their grievences, "Yeah, well, good riddance!Alright? Who needs ya? Huh? Go on, get out of here, bald boy!You ingrate! You bald ingrate! Go on and rot,for all I care! Go !" The group looked at her, and the boy spoke,"Terk,we're gonna miss him too." I put my hood on and came out of my spot, pulling Terk in for a hug. "Organization XIII!" The three new faces yelled as I let go of Terk.
They know the Order? That can't be a good thing...
The one with spikey hair drew forth his weapon, to my astonishment, and dropped to a fighting stance as the other two new faces followed his steps. Terk looked at them with her eyes widened,"Sora are you nuts in the head? She's a good friend! Right Tantor?" She said gripping me tightly, as if her grip was the best defense. Actually it kinda hurts The boy, Sora, looked a bit surprised. I smiled under my hood and assured Terk it was okay, and I was going to say goodbye myself. She released me from her grip and looked up at me sadly, but before she could say what I already knew she was thinking, Tarzan screamed in the distance. "That sounded like Tarzan, I think he's in trouble." Tantor said looking out at the boat. "Well you two, it looks like it's time for the both of you to play the hero. Goodbye guys." I waved and stepped back through an opening corridor.
I know I should have investigated why he screamed but if I know those two, the would do anything for their friend. But this Sora guy... why does the name ring a bell?
