Maybells P.O.V 

Once Jack fell asleep I went to go eat lunch. I have to tell my dad I'm in the hospital.This is gonna be fun. But I'll tell him that I'm here because I saved a life today.

D = dad M = Maybell

M: hey dad there is something I need to tell you...

D: whats wrong honey?

M: well I'm in the hospital...

D: OH MY GOD MAYBELL DIXON BENEDICT ARE YOU PREGNANT!?! 

M: HELL NO  there is a kid in my school and he was getting beat up so my new friend texted me what was happening and  I stood up for him and kinda knocked out 2 of them  hehe sorry. 

D: that's my girl okay honey I gotta go be safe and tell that young man he is save in your hands.

M: okay dad love you!

D:love you too!

I can't believe he thought I was pregnant. EEEEEWWWWW!!!! I know I sound like a 5 year old but oh well.I got done eating and lets just say that food is gross as ever. I went to his room and he was up so I asked him for his mom or dads number. He gave me his moms and I told her. She wasn't to pleased of what I had to say. She came to the room as fast as she could. " OMG MY SON WHAT HAPPEND!!!!!" At this point she was crying, I got some what teary eyed. "Mrs. Johnson he has to have surgery he was coughing  up blood and he probably broke a rib or so. I'm so sorry" I was now crying knowing an indecent person can die. I swear the only people who is gonna die is the people who beat him up. Like what the fuck did he do to you. God such ASSHOLES. "Okay thank you um..." " Maybell, Maybell Benedict" " Thank you Maybell you may go back to school if you'd like?" " nonsense I promised I would never leave his side!"I said truly. Her eyes got huge and she stared to cry" no one has done that for my son. You are a keeper. Take care of him please" she said while crying. " MMMMOOOOMMMM I'm right here you know. You don't have to embarrass  me, I mean come on." he said while wining. " JACK EDWARD JOHNSON SHE SAVED YOUR ASS THE LAST THING  YOU CAN DO IS SAY THANK YOU!!!! Come on Jack you are better than this were are your manners."she said kinda disappointed. At this point I as laughing. " Oh my Okay I'll be there in a few bye. Um I am sorry but I have to go back to work. Do you mind staying with Jack?" she said while holding the door"I don't mind what so ever Mrs.Johnson"I said really confident in what I'm doing." okay thanks'' "No problem" I said as she left the room." I'm sorry about my mom she is like that all the time." he said chuckling, wow that is a cute laugh. " It's fine Jack you should get some sleep I'm going to stay the night so let me get some clothes for you and me. You can use my brothers clothes, okay?" " alright thank you so much May wait can I call you May?" he asked." I don't care can I call you ... um how about gummy bear." I said laughing " WHY THAT HAHAHA!!!" " Because your so sweet." his cheeks were turning red. "well I'm going to get the clothes k?'' I said getting my phone out to text my brother" okay see you in a bit." he said smiling.
