 Chapter Twenty Six.



Creepy Crawly Things.



 Sonee's P.o.v.

 


 Such beautiful melody flow's into my body as I watch him play devotedly to the piano,
I can feel each note as if it's a caress from a loved one, 
Gently touching my soul as if it was the most precious thing in his life.
 
 I tried to look at who was playing the piano, but his face was masked by shadow's, making it impossible to see whoever was playing.
"Darling" He whispered, in a tone so loving it made cupid's heart stop.
"My love.." He whispered once again, his tone curious and gentle.
"Sonee?" He said a tad louder, and I fazed out of my trance.
"Yes?" I quietly answered.
"You must awaken now..." He whispered, 
He was so tense, I knew he was just dying to turn and look at me, touch me, kiss me like it was our last.
"When will I see you again?" I whispered.
"Soon my love, but now is the time for us to depart" He answered, his finger's brushing over the key's as if he was playing.
"No... I can't leave you.." I pleaded.
"Close your eye's.." He whispered.
"Why?" I said, clutching my white dress.
"Trust me" He whispered, and I felt my eye's fluttered close against my will.
"Look for me in the shadow's, even if you cannot see, you can hear my heart poudning heavily, and that shall be your guide to find me." He told me in light passionate whispered,
and his lip's met mine when everything went dark, telling me that all the candle's lighting the room were now blown out, but there had been no source of wind, or disturbances.



My eye's cracked open to see a completely dark room, the only source of light was from a almost burnt out candle, which lit the room enough for me to see Drake in a arm chair fast asleep, and laying on the small sette was a snoring Johnny.
Everything was so still and quiet,
it was rather peaceful,
but now I was wide awake.

 I slowly arose from the bed ever so quietly,
not making a single noise,
I slowly tip-toed to the closed door.


  Making it safely into the dim candle lit hallway's, I decided to explore some.


 I've probably peaked into at least a hundred room's by now! Every room seemed to be a study or a guest room,
It was probably hopeless looking around.
"Your majesty?" A meek voice said, and I turned around quickly to see a scullery maid,
She only looked to be fifteen!
"Oh yes?" I asked, a little shock in my voice.
"I'm sorry if I was intruding but... I couldn't help but notice that you looked a little lost,
May I help you find something?" She said, keeping her head down.
"Oh well, I was wondering around really, Drake's never shown me around before..." I trailed off.
"Yes your majesty! the castle is very beautiful I would be delighted to be your guide! But I wouldn't want to waste your time, so how about I tell you of some place's and you can tell me where you would wish to go!" She said, blushing for her high pitch.
"That sound's fine.." I said unsurely.
"Well, There is the kitchen, the game room's, the pool room's, The dungeon.." She listed,
But I cut her off at a certain area, "Dungeon?" 
"Yes your majesty, It is where they keep prisoner's, the one's that are far too dangerous,
or are waiting to be shipped else where,
There are three dungeon's total,
One here,
One at the Vitalli's,
and one at the Carnation castle." She explained.
"Take me to our dungeon" I ordered.
"Yes, of course!" She said, bowing.
She started leading me down endless hallway's, 
We both were completely quiet.
"If you don't mind me asking... but what's your name?" I asked.
"Anica" She quickly replied.
"Ooh, what a lovely name" I complimented.
"Thank you your majesty, Feel free to ask me anything!" She replied.
"Are you a vampire?" I hesitantly asked.
"Yes your majesty" She answered.
"Oh... how old were you when..." I started,
"My whole fifteen year's of a life" She quickly answered.
"How long have you been a..." I started but was quickly cut off, "A slave your majest?" She offered.
"Yes, I suppose if that is what you are.." I said, praying it wasn't true.
"I am afraid to say yes, but it is true, I have been raised as a slave, and always will be." She answered, sadness pooling in her eye's.
"Well then, I'm going to be queen now, and I will assure you that no girl's nor boy's shall be servant's under eighteen" I said anger burning in my eye's.
"No offence your majesty but, I don't really believe that will happen.." She noted, pity in her eye's.
"I assure you it will!" I said, ending our conversation.




 Gardener's and other servant's attending to animal's, such as horses and tiger's?
were watching us with awe in there eye's.
"Anica" I whispered, catching up to match her step's.
"Yes your majesty?" She whispered back.
"Why are they staring?" I questioned, and they must've heard me, and snapped back to there work.
"Usually the master's and guest ignore us, or look at us with disgust and pity" She said, as if it meant nothing to her, which it cleary did!
"That's terrible! it's already terrible that your prisoner's, but they could at least treat you kindly.." I said angrily, getting riled up.
"That is a wish to us all your majesty" She answered, stopping at a huge metal door covered in spike's and wire's.
"Your majesty, may i?" She asked, motioning to my hand.
"Uh sure? why?" I questioned, curiousity burning in my eye's.
"Only royal blood can open the door's, your majesty"  She answered,  pressing my hand to the door.
 "O-oh does that mean..?" I couldn't even finish that sentence but thankfully she got it.
"No your majesty I do not need you to shed any blood to get in" She said, smiling brightly.
"Repeat me please, 'Aşa cum am regină, pentru a vă deschide şi deschisă doar pentru mine' In Romanian it mean's 'As queen i order you to open and only open to me'" She said,
and I quickly repeated what she said.

 I stumbled back as the door creaked, and slammed into wall's.
"Quickly now" Anica ordered, rushing into the torch lit dirt hall's, me quickly catching up,
and I just made it in as the door's slammed.
"May I ask you of something?" Anica offered.
"Sure, fire away!" I cheered.
"Are you looking for a certain prisoner?" She asked, stopping at another large door with a caged window.
"I would be lying if I said no..." I answered, looking down at my shoe's.
"Ooh I see" She said, her tone was a little off though.
 


 I watched Anica knock on many of the dusty brick's before one fell through, She stuck her hand in and let out a sigh of relief when nothing happened.
Her hand pulled out of the brick shape hole, and in her hand a handful of heavy looking key's.
"Anica... I wish to go alone from here on out" I pointed out, 
and her face fell full of worry.
"Are you sure your majesty? it's mighty dangerous in there" She replied, her voice shaking slightly.
"I'm sure, thank you, Can you please wait out here?" I asked, smiling.
"Of course your majesty" She answered, unlocking the wooden door.
"Here are the key's for some of the cell's" She said, handing me the heavy ring of key's.
"Thank you" I smiled, and went through the door and it shut behind me with a gust of wind.



 I shivered as I walked past a cell with a still rotting skeleton.
"There once was a little girl with diamond's in her eye's, But those eye's turned to coal when she spotted a Dryland butterfly..
A boy walked up to a butterfly, a sailor from the sea,
He saw the butterfly's burgundy wing's, and he was flying free.
The next day he saw the butterfly a beautiful burgundy,
It led him to the sea, the beautiful butterfly had turned into something nobody had seen.
A butterfly so beautiful turn's into a woman wearing a dress of burgundy." A beautiful male voice sang, 
As I followed it, it got louder and louder with each step.
I finally got to the end of a hall with chain's on the wall's, holding a few sleeping vampire's,
but one  was wide awake singing, and he slowly lifted his head,
I gasped as I met burgundy eye's, with a golden ring in the center.
Ashton.
"Back to the girl and her butterfly,
 A beautiful sight to see,     
The butterfly layed a kiss, only for their eye's to see." Ashton continued to sing,
And I slowly sat on my knee's.
"Her eye's fluttered close, and as he lay on her nose,
He whispered 'It's time for your surprise so open your eye's' and to her surprise a man of golden hair and burgundy eye's was leaning in to kiss her" He sang, and I found myself crawling closer to him, like a predator stalking it's prey.
"He watched her scream and runaway, but he knew she would be back someday" Ashton sang,  watching me ever so carefully.
"Dryland butterfly's are so different you see, they hunt like predator's, as they are as hungry as can be." His lip's leaned down to meet mine as he whispered the last of the song.
"No!" I whispered, trying desperately to pull away.
"You are one of us" Ashton whispered, and I felt something crawling under my skin.
"Let me take away your pain.." He whispered again, and his lip's captured mine once again.
I wound my finger's in his hair, pulling him closer, only to realize it was impossible when I heard the sound of chain's clinking.
'No.. not again...' I whispered in my head, and let him in past my lip's.
"No.." I growled, pushing myself away from him,
I crawled back a few step's.
"Sonee... unchain me... look at me.." He whispered, almost sang.
"No! now I came here for a reason!" I yelled, and looked at him firmly in the eye's,
and to both of our shock, nothing was happening to me.
"Look's like you are one of us" He chuckled, leaning back against the dirty wall.
"That's not why i'm here" I said angrily.
"Oh is that so?" He challenged.
"Yes! why did he send you to find me" I retorted.
"Who my love?" He smiled.
"The murderer" I answered, and his slight tan skin paled. 
"I don't know what you're talking about" He refused.
"Why did he send you to find me when he already knew where I was?!" I questioned.
"And who did you think 'He' is?" Ashton questioned back.
"I don't know... but you are going to tell me!" I demanded.
'I'm afraid now is not the time' A chilling voice said in my mind,
and I shivered.
"He's coming" Ashton tensed.
"Who?" I questioned, rising to my feet.
'The murderer' The voice mimicked.
"Go.. hurry!" Ashton yelled,
I quickly ran into the hall, but stayed behind the corner, peaking at Ashton.
"Don't you know it's rude to spy" The voice whispered, crashing me up against the wall.
"Don't you know it's rude to murder people" I taunted, struggling against his grip.
"Now is not the time to argue" He said, anger hidden in his voice.
"Don't struggle now" He whispered, and I felt him reaching for the chained handcuff's on the wall above me,
I started struggling even more, trying to kick everywhere.
"Do as your told!" He boomed, and I froze slightly, 
and apparently that's long enough for him to handcuff my hand's.

 I yanked on them as hard as I could, but no can do.
I tried to turn my head to see his face, but my hair and arm's wouldn't move out of the way.
I tried to kick again, only to notice that my feet were now chained too.
"Let me go!" I yelled, and it echoed around the room.
"Don't waste your time screaming, no one can here you" He whispered in my ear,
and I shivered.
"Anica!" I screamed as hard as I could for the curly red hed maid, but the man only chuckled.
"Be still" He commanded, and I heard a scraping of metal come from behind me.
"What are you doi-!" I started, but gasped as I felt the dagger tearing the back of my white night gown and part of my bra.
It was torn enough to see my full back, but nothing else.
"What are you doing.." I whispered, and felt my sleeve's slowly falling down a tad.
"Looking for something" He said, his voice full of wonder.
My lip's trembled as I felt his finger tracing the Butterfly wing's on my back.
"Did you find it?" I whispered, pleading in my head that someone would come.
"Indeed I have" He whispered, and I felt his cool breath on my mid-back.
"It's so beautiful" He said breathlessly,
and I felt his freezing cold hand's wrap around my bare stomach, 
pulling it backward's so my back would arch outward's.
 I cried out when I felt fang's tracing from my deep lower back, to my upper back,
and slowly onto my neck,
I started yanking at the chain's desperately.
"It's no use" He whispered, and kissed my neck slowly, and I shivered for the wrong reason's.
He slowly pulled away from my neck, "Sorry, that doesn't come till' later" He whispered, and I shuddered.
"Your birthday is coming up  yes? well hopefully I will see you by then" I heard him back away, and the handcuff's fell off my hand's.
I quickly pulled the front of my dress up, and ran.
 

 I ran as fast as I possibly could, and when I exited I noticed that Anica had gone.

 It was still early dawn when I finally got out, and I kept running for my life.
"Lock the dungeon" I yelled at one of the servant's, and threw them the key's.
"Yes your majesty!" They obeyed.


 As I ran down the hall's servant's stared and gasped at my appearance,
but that didn't matter I needed to get away.


 Finally I got to Drake's room, and I slammed the door close when I got in,
Breathing heavily, 
My dress falling down once again,
My finger's clawing down the door gently.
"Sonee" Two voice's said,
I quickly turned around, 
My back pressed against the door.
Johnny and Drake were both staring at my face,
And I felt something move in my face.
"W-what happened?" Johnny whispered, walking quickly torward's me,
But Drake made no sign's that he was going to be moving.
"I... I.... sa- felt him" I said and Drake tensed.
"Felt?" Johnny asked.
"The murderer" I answered, trembling.
"That doesn't matter right now, Can't you see that you're bleeding" Johnny said,
picking me up, and I noticed right then that my feet were bleeding,
Probably cause I was barefoot running on sharp gravel.
As Johnny carried me past Drake I noticed Drake's eye's were red.
"Drake?" I said, and He didn't move.
"Johnny, can you give me a second with Drake?" I asked, and he frowned.
"Why would I leave you with that blood sucker?" Johnny asked, eye's turning a shade of gold,
I flinched back at his eye's.
"Go" I commanded, and his frown deepened,
but he did leave.
 


 I placed my bloodied and wounded feet on the carpeted ground, and cringed when it stang deeply.
 I tried to walk torward's him but after the first few step's I had fallen...
Fallen into Drake's arm's.
"Don't you dare try to walk when you are so injured" Drake growled,
and carried me back to the bed.
"Stay" Drake ordered, and went into the bathroom.


 Drake came back shortly, with his arm's full of bandaid's, neosporin, and medical tape.
"Tell me what you were doing in the dungeon" Drake sighed, and started putting a few bandaid's on my leg's.
"I was looking for Ashton..." I mumbled.
"Oh, and did you find him?" He questioned.
"Of course... he was singing... this song about butterfly's?" I said, but asking a question at the end.
"I think it goes like this... 'A boy walked up to a butterfly, a sailor from the sea,

abrutly cut off as Drake's lip's came crashing down on mine.
"Drake!" I gasped, and pushed him away.
"Sonee" He said, and grabbed my face, he made me look at him directly in the eye's,
I could see all the need, the sadness, the love.
"I need you" He whispered, then he kissed my lip's softly.
"Get off my mate!" I heard Johnny yell before Drake was ripped off me and thrown across the room.
"She will never be your mate!" Drake growled, and lunged at Johnny.
"Sto-!" I started, but I cut myself off with a groan, when I felt a agonizing pain in my head,
I instantly felt my heart beat speed up,
and before I knew it my whole vision disolved into darkness,
I felt myself collapse on the bed,
I tried to prop myself up with my arm's, but they shaking so badly that I couldn't even do that.
"Sonee! can you hear me?!" I heard Drake yell.
"Yes" I choked out, even though it sounded more like 'Yurs' I think they understood me.
"Can you see me?" Drake asked, and titled my face up.
"N-no...what's h-happ-!" I started, but cut myself off again with a piercing scream.



 I scrunched up my eye's as tight as I could as I let out another shattering scream,
"Sonee help's on the way" Drake yelled over my scream's,
 I felt him laying me down on my back,
 A warm hand, and A cold hand gripped each of my hand's.
"Johnny?" I asked, and squeezed the warm hand in my right hand,
"Yes that's me" He whispered, his other hand stroking my hair softly.
"Drake?" I asked, squeezing my left hand, "Yes it's me, mea mireasa" He answered,
and somehow being called 'Mea mireasa' calmed me down.
"Say t-that.. again" I panted out, then let out another groan.
"Mea mireasa, Mea mireasa, Mea mireasa" Drake chanted softly, and I heard Johnny scoff.


 As Drake chanted over and over again I started to feel something move in my eye's, face
back, and chest.
It was like something was squirming around.
"Do you see that?" Johnny asked, his tone frightened.






 Drake's P.o.v.



  "Do you see that?" The frightened mutt asked, pointing to her arm,
where a sliver of black slithered by quickly.
"Y-yeah" I stuttered,
And winced when she screamed again,
except something was different,
it sounded more... elegant?
and there was a misted almost clear liquid dripping from her teeth,
Dripping from the corner of her mouth.

 I swiped my finger over some of the misty substance and smelt it, 
"What is that?" Johnny asked, and I raised my hand to him,
I licked it off my finger, and cringed at the metalic sour taste,
It tasted like watered down blood.
"Venom" I muttered, then my eye's widened at the situation.
"Venom? what does that mean? is she changing?!" Johnny fired question's at me non-stop.
"Let's hope not.." I sighed squeezing her hand, and she turned her head to face me.

"Drake... I can't see you.. I can't see anything!" She sobbed, in pain, fear, and sadness, and it tore me apart seeing her like this, and not knowing what to do.

 I jumped as I heard the door slam open with a very worried Hunter vitalli, Adrian cupid, and The twin's Chrissy and Sam.

"Move" Hunter ordered, And me and Johnny quickly rushed away from the bed,

Hunter and Adrian quickly rushed to her side, "Sonee, I need you to open your eye's.." Adrian said,

and She hissed shaking her head.

"Open your eye's Sonee" I whispered, desperately wanting to go to her side, but The twin's were restraining me and Johnny,  and thank god they were or Me and Johnny would've already been next to her side.

 Sonee's P.o.v.

 I cried as I felt burning, slimy, sliver's of something slithering under my skin like snake's,

scraping there venomous fang's everywhere they went, leaving me in gasping pain.

"Open... eye's... nee..." I caught pieces of a conversation, having a  feeling that it was torward's me,

I turned my head limply eye's open slightly, me desperately trying to keep them open long enough to see something but alass it's all black, was I.... was I blind? The word's sent shiver's down my spine, just think of it as never seeing the sky again, never seeing the love of your life again, never seeing the beauty of life and the world, Please don't let me be blind... I pleaded in my head desperately to whoever was listening, 'Don't worry my love... I'll help you" A dark voice chuckled in my head, and I immediately tensed up, and someone seemed to notice that I wasn't moving any longer because my face was soon being lightly pulled to face something... or someone else.

"Sonee, it's me Hunter Vitalli, open your eye's" He pleaded, and I heard clink's of metal in the background.

 I felt my eye's flutter open for a brief second but tried to close before someone held them open.

"Look at her eye's Adrian, quickly!" I heard Hunter yell, and I could sense someone leaning over me.

 'Close your eye's, NOW!' A voice commanded in my head, I screamed as the pain suddenly got ten time's worse, and slammed my eye's close.

"What happened, Sonee?! what's wrong? open your eye's!" Multiple voice's yelled, and I felt another presence rush into the room.

"Silence!" A strong female voice commanded.

"Sarah.. Thank god your okay!" Hunter said, and I felt him rush over to his mate.

"I would hold you longer but... I have to help Miss rave" He said, walking back over to me, but stopped in his track's as he heard her next word's, "Do not help her, Do not touch her, Do not even look at her" Sarah hissed, and Instantly felt a little calmer, 'Repeat after me my love, and be sure to say it out loud..' I heard the dark voice order, and I had a feeling I should do what he say's.

'În numele de regina ..! Vă ordon să se oprească!' I quickly obeyed before I could translate it,

"În numele de regina ..! Vă ordon să se oprească!!" In name of the queen, I order you to stop, is what I roughly translated.

 Suddenly everything stopped, no pain, no movement under my skin, no more tear's.

I slowly opened my eye's, praying, hoping, wishing that I could see, I don't think I could live without seeing Drake at least one more time... Did I just say Drake?!

im sorry honestly :)

i've been sick and then it was my birthday and then a lot of my family's birthday and then... i had to re-write this three times!!!
The first time was perfect almost complete before my computer decided to stop working completely -.-

and then the second time it was just aweful -.-

and the third time it was actually pretty good

AND LUCKILY I GOT THE FIRST CHAPTER BACK!!! :D

which is this chapter! but i liked the third chapter a lot so I kinda combined them ^-^

i will probably upload again tomorrow :)
