People were screaming as they were running out of the park where a Greymon was attacking.

"Just don't throw fires balls anymore, I'm tired of getting smoke inside my lungs in which of course isn't healthy"

Said the mystery girl sitting on the bench while her digimon tries to scare the people. Greymon looked to her partner and was about to comment but heard someone yell.

"HEY!!!"

The girl and her partner turn to see Tai and Agumon standing there looking angry from a few feet away. The girl smiled as she jumped off the bench.

"What do you want?"

Tai stated.

"And don't you dare say attention"

The girl remained quiet as she continued to stare at him. Tai was getting annoyed at just being stared at.

"If you have something to say then just say it and call off your Greymon before the police decides to bring in the military"

The girl looked to her Greymon and nodded. Greymon had turn back to her rookie form and stood by her partner's side.

"Done"

"Good, now let's just talk. Are you okay with that?"

The girl nodded.

"So why are you doing this?"

He asked. The girl simply shrugged as an answer.

"What's your name?"

"I can't tell you that"

"Fine by me, I know where you live and I can easily go tell your parents"

The girl smiled.

"Oh, yeah you know my parents very well"

She said with a grin. Tai raised an eyebrow in confusion.

'Why is she so stubborn? She's acting like me'

He thought annoyed.

"When are you going to stop playing this game?"

He asked angrily. The girl smiled.

"I ask for a request"

She said walking slowly towards him.

"Which is?"

"A hug"

Tai and Agumon were surprise and even the girl's Agumon was surprise. The female Agumon jogged towards her partner that stopped walking.

"Wait Jennifer what are you doing?"

She asked in a low whisper. The girl Jennifer couldn't keep her eyes off Tai.

"I have to do this, I need to do this"

She whispered back.

"But you can get into a lot of trouble for..."

But Jennifer placed her hand on Agumon's mouth closing it preventing her from saying anything else.

"A hug? Seriously"

Tai asked confused. Jennifer nodded. Tai smirk.

"Nice try, what's your real game?"

He asked. Jennifer frown and placed her hands on her hips.

"If I get the hug that I want then I promise I won't be attacking the city"

"A hug? No strings attached"

"No strings attached"

"How do I know if you're not gonna pull a fast one on me?"

"Then you are just going to have to trust me"

Tai looked to Agumon.

"What do I do?"

"Just do it, I got your back if she tries anything funny"

Tai nodded and looked to the girl. He took a step forward and open his arms to her. Jennifer looked to his open arms to her, as she slowly made her way to him as tears began to gather in her eyes. She then ran to Tai and embraced him in a tight and comforting hug and buried her face to his chest as tears fell down her cheeks. Tai was confused but nonetheless wrapped his arms around her as she cried. Agumon looked to the female Agumon and saw how she wanted to cry and fight it back. Tai patted her on the back.

"Sshhh its okay, its okay"

Tai said quietly to her. Jennifer couldn't help it but her emotions got the best of her. After a while, Jennifer pulled away leaving stain tears on Tai's shirt as she wiped away her tears. Tai looked to her in concern.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I just needed a hug that's all. Okay then see you around"

She said turning around to walk away.

"Hey wait!"

"Yes?"

She asked looking back at him.

"By any chance are you related to Tiffany?"

The girl smiled at him and turned around to walk away.

"One more thing!"

Tai said but this time Jennifer didn't bother to turn back.

"Do I have your word you will stop attcking the city, who ever you are"

"I gave you my word"

She said walking away with her Agumon walking beside her. Tai let out a sigh as the girl left.

"Man, what's that all about?"

Tai asked confused scratching the back of his head.

"I don't know but I'm hungry"

Agumon stated.

"Yeah let's go home"

He said as he turn around but froze as he saw his friends were standing there looking shock.

"W-what?"

Tai asked.

"We all came to help you but saw you hugging that mystery girl"

Matt said confused.

"Yeah, what's that about?"

Joe asked.

"Look she said she will stop attacking the city, all she wanted was a hug in return"

Tai explained.

"How do you know if she will keep her promise?"

Izzy asked.

"She said I just had to trust her"

"And you do? After she hurted some people"

Sora said angrily.

"Its not like that, she just wanted attention"

"Yeah, right"

Mimi said with her arms crossed over her chest. Tai frown at them.

"Just give her a chance okay, I'm not sure what's up with her but all she wanted was a hug and started crying. I think she really been through something"

Tai said.

"Now you're defending her?"

TK asked.

"I'm not, I'm just....I don't know okay, but I will figure it out"

Tai said as he walked away with Agumon walking beside him. Kari ran to catch up to Tai.

"What now?"

Tai asked not bothering to stop walking.

"You're hiding something"

Tai stopped and let out a sigh.

"Does the girl look familiar to you?"

He asked quietly. Kari thought for a while and it finally clicked.

"She looks like Tiffany, but wait that would mean..."

"I don't think so"

"How come?"

"Because when I went to Tiffany's house the first day, that girl was there"

"What?"

"Tiffany doesn't know her, so it can't be family, or a cousin"

"What could it be?"

"I don't know but I'm going to find out"
