Sakura Empire Port

David had arrived to the Sakura Empire's port region, he was admiring the falling sakura petals falling as one lands on his shoulder and slides off, reminiscing the time he was back on Earth walking through the streets of Japan a nation on Earth which was famous for its culture.

"Admiring the petals?" A woman who was beside him

The woman was wearing a white naval uniform and skirt with black leggings up to her waist, her hair was tied in ponytail form using a with a white butterfly tie.

"Yes, I am I remember seeing sakura cherry blossoms back where I was from" He replied to the woman beside him.

"I see, then you're that super soldier that everyone must be talking about?" The woman asked as both of you walked.

"Yes, and you are?" David asked the woman as she smiled.

"Sorry for not introducing myself, I'm Takao."

"Nice to meet you Takao." David said as they both continued to walk.

"And your name is..." Takao tried to think what his name was.

"David, I don't remember much of my full name" He answered his name.

"Ah, that's a nice name." She said as she examined his armor. "It looks bulky but the arms looks like they have some mobility." she looked at his armor curiously.

"It's meant to be like that." He said as they then continued to chat and walk up leading to a large sakura tree.

Ahead of them was a group of little kinder gardeners running towards them.

"Come on guys! Let's go to the Taiyaki food stall before they're sold out!" One of the kinder gardener shouted to her friends.

"I want mine with extra bean paste!" Another one of the kinder gardener said as they were still running.

"Don't run too fast or you'll trip!" One of them warned her friends.

"Wait for me! Wait for me!" One with pink hair was falling behind the group and was shouting for them to wait.

The group continued to run, meanwhile David and Takao was still chatting.

"And that is how I got my own version of my katana." He had finished a story about how he got an ancient katana.

"Wow that was pretty cool if I must say." She was astonished about the story he said.

They talked a little more before they noticed the kinder gardeners running towards them, The group ran past them until the one with pink hair tripped and fell in front of David, she looked up to see a giant person towering over her and jumped in fear.

"Uwaa! a giant person!" the girl was spooked as she never saw a 7 foot tall person before.

David then kneeled down to get on her level and helps her stand up.

"Are you hurt? I'm sorry if I gave you a scare." David apologized to the girl, as the girl was frightened to the point she was about to cry.

He tries his best to make her to not cry, but the girl was still shaking in fear the others then slowly inches back.

"Um... We're sorry..." One of the girls then apologized to him.

"Huh?" The apology towards him got him confused, if anything it was him that should be apologizing for not getting out of the way.

"We didn't do it on purpose!" One with blue hair and what can be presumed as animal ears says in guilt.

"Wait. I'm not mad, why are you apologizi-" he got interrupted as one of them grabbed a pouch held animal toy.

"Don't make me use P-kun!" she held it proudly and was about to do something when Takao decided to help.

"Alright that's enough you all, the newcomer isn't familiar with this place yet, so don't continue to confuse him." Takao then gave the kinder gardeners a pouch full of sweets, the kinder gardeners then continued on before waving.

"Thank you madam Takao!" They then ran off again.

David who was still confused by the whole ordeal got up.

"Well... That was confusing." He said as he was still scratching the back of his head. 

"Sorry, they're usually like that sometimes, they're still kinder gardeners after all so try and play along. Oh and those were the Mutsuki classes." She then explained to him.

"Huh. Well there's more to learn about this place." He said as he starts to take notes in his head.

"Trust me there is." Takao jokingly said to him.

"Was that supposed to be sarcastic or a joke?" David asked her in curiosity.

They then continued to walk until they met someone who was dressed the same as Takao but had visible ears.

"Ara~ Takao have you fallen for the newcomer?~" The woman teasingly said towards Takao as she blushed red.

"A-Atago, that's absurd! W-We just met!" Takao stuttered as she continued to blush. "David, this is my sister Atago, as you might know she's quite a teaser." Takao introduced her sister.

"I see. Nice to meet you madam." He greeted Atago and gestured a handshake.

"Fufu~ you're pretty polite for a tall person." Atago shakes his hand with a smile.

"I am trained to be polite to new people." He explained.

"So where are you heading?~" Atago asked her sister.

"Lady Yamato asked me to bring him to her if I see him." Takao explained.

"Oh~ Lady Yamato took an interest in you huh?~" Atago was surprised that the empress herself wanted to meet the newcomer.

"Yes she heard his story from Commander Jorge." As Takao said Jorge's name, David was surprised.

"Jorge is a commander?" He said with a surprised face.

"He is the Eagle Union's Commander~" Atago explained to him.

"I see." He understood what had happened now.

"Well we need to go, the Empress herself doesn't have much patience, more answers can be told later." Takao exclaimed.

"Right then, we'll be off now." He said as they walked off.

TIME SKIP

Takao and David then arrived at the giant sakura tree, there Yamato herself was present along with her sisters, Musashi, And Shinano.

"Ah Takao, thank you for bringing the newcomer here." Yamato said to Takao.

"Not at all your excellency." Takao replied.

"Can you leave us be for now Takao?" Musashi asked her.

"Sure lady Musashi." Takao then left and went to the entrance.

"So how was your time here at the base?" Yamato asked David.

"Interesting to say the least, Madam Yamato." He then answered her question.

"I see, sorry if any of the Sakura Empire girls caused you to be uncomfortable, the girls tend to get overboard with new people they meet." Yamato told him. "And these here are my sisters, the first is Musashi, and the second is Shinano." Yamato introduced her sisters.

"Nice to meet you~" 

"zzz... Hello.. zzz" Shinano greeted while half asleep.

"Please pardon Shinano, she's quite the sleeper." Yamato explained.

"It's okay ma'am, none are taken." David said.

Yamato then sighed in relief that he didn't criticized anything that would ashame anything for the sakura empire.

"Commander Jorge talked alot about you when you both fought together." Yamato said in fondness about the time when David and Jorge fought against the covenant together.

"I regard him highly as a brother, nothing else." He said to her.

"And I have heard from him that you're of Japanese decent, is that true?"  Yamato asked curiously.

"それは本当だろう、奥様" (That would be true, ma'am) He said fluently, which surprised both Yamato and Musashi.

"My~ So it was correct~" Musashi said while still surprised a little

They continued to talk about some stuff.

MEANWHILE IN SHINANO'S DREAM

Inside of Shinano's dream, she woke up somewhere which isn't where she was when shell fell asleep.

"Where am I?" She was confused as where she was.

She looked at every direction until she heard a voice.

"I trusted you Soren... You were a brother to me." A familiar yet unknown voice said out.

"Huh?" She then went towards where the voice was until she saw two people cladded in armor, one was wielding a katana which it's blade was shining blue and one with a large war axe.

"I'm sorry David... But this is not the outcome I wanted Either..." Shinano was shocked as to hearing both of the peole's names.

"C-Commander Soren?! Mister David?!" She was shocked beyond belief.

Both spartans charged at each other Soren's axe and David's katana clashing together creating streaks of sparks as both energy upgraded weapons hit each other.

"Sarah... No... Everyone trusted you! We were a family Soren!" David swung his katana out of anger which Soren blocked with his axe.

"This isn't what didn't want too! But it's my own choice, my 'OWN' decision!" Soren shoved David back as he swung his axe towards David which he retaliated with by striking the blade of the axe to chip off and crack, David then wedged his katana on Soren's axe that disarmed both of them.

"I told you to join me to fight against the UNSC! But you didn't, and that show's how naive you are!" Soren then sends out a punch from his prosthetic arm which sent David skeeting back.

Soren charged again but David then countered and punched Soren's helmet which caused it to crack.

"Now that's good! Give me all you got!" Soren then charged, David then sidestepped and punched Soren on the chest hard enough to stagger him, he then punched his helmet again staggering him more.

*SHINK*

David then unsheathed a knife and was about to kill Soren until Shinano woke up screaming.

BACK TO REALITY

"AAAAAAAHHH!!" Shinano screamed as she woke up, and got concerned looks from everyone.

"Shinano are you ok?" Yamato asked her sister in concern.

"Y-Yes I'm fine." Shinano said.

"Okay then. I'll be going now." David said as he needed to go.

"Ok~ Stay safe~" Musashi said with a tone that would make a man blush.

David then left and Shinano sighed.

"Yamato, Musashi, can I tell you something?" Shinano asked.

"Yes, what is it?" Yamato questioned.

"It was the dream I had, it's like Commander Soren and David has a bitter rivalry." Shinano explained.

"Why's that?" Musashi asked.

"I saw them fighting, and Commander Soren dying." Shinano explained the event in her dream.

"Then we must ask Commander Jorge, He might also know." Yamato told her sisters.

"I agree." Musashi said.

And now the truth about the past shall be reavealed.
