You sit in your home class as you tap your pencil against the desk. You hear the seat beside you pull out and Sollux sits beside you.

"Why've you got a pencil out?" Sollux asks. "we don't even do anything in this class."

"Eh, it was in my pocket and I was bored."

"Do you just keep pencils in your pocket?" Sollux asks sarcastically.

You stare him right in the eyes as you reach into your pocket and pull out two more pencils.

"Indeed I do."

This causes Sollux to grin, "Well then."

"Alright class."

Wow the teacher is actually doing something for once. You groan to yourself, as does most of the class. The teacher gives a disapproving stare to the class before they continue to talk.

Finally, a class that didn't make you want to leap off of a cliff. You and Feferi sit beside each other, waiting for Mr. Vantas to enter the class. You make small talk over the other, louder students. The class begins to quieten down once Mr. Vantas enters the classroom.

"Good morning class," he greets, "today we will be starting our first assignment."

Some of the students let out sighs, some seemed quite excited.

"Now this assignment will be done in groups of three," he states, "I will give you 10 minutes to pick your groups."

And with that the class was in a frenzy to search for their friends or the A students. You look over at Feferi, who nods. You then begin to look around the classroom in search for someone else to be in your group. Your eyes pause when you notice a familiar face.

"Whoa Karkat, I didn't know you were in this class." You grin.

His head snaps towards you and his eyes roll.

"Yeah, I hide in the back for a reason," he sighs, "do you mind if I stick with you two?"

You glance at Feferi, who nods happily.

"Sure thing Kar'." You smile.

The three of you sit close to each other as Mr. Vantas calls for the class to take a seat. He begins to explain the task ahead.

"Alright, I will leave you all to begin planning."

During your social class you, along with Feferi and Karkat agreed to all go to Feferi's house to continue to work on your project. So you texted Bro to let him know and rode home with Feferi and Karkat.

"So you've never watched 'The Notebook' before?!" Karkat practically exclaims.

"No, I was never really one for romance movies." You shrug.

"Well I'm going to force you to watch it." Karkat huffs.

"Alright, it's a date." You grin.

You chuckle as you watch Karkat become flustered and shrink in on himself.

"Wow, you're really easy to be flustered!" Feferi laughs.

"Shut up!" Karkat hisses.

"Alright, we're here!"

You step out of the vehicle to see a huge mansion.

"Holy shit!" you exclaim.

"What?" Feferi asks, looking over at you.

"Your home is huge!"

"Oh, yeah," Feferi giggles, "it is, isn't it?"

You glance over at Karkat, who looks about just as shocked. He didn't seem to be moving, so you take his hand and begin to lead him towards the mansion. You follow in after Feferi, one hand clinging to the strap of your shoulder, the other to Karkat's hand.

"My mum is on a business trip so the only people who should be here are us and Meenah."

You follow behind Feferi as she makes her way up the stairs and down the right corridor. When she reaches a coral coloured door she walks in. You follow her in to what you assumed was her bedroom. The first thing that catches your eye is the giant tank on the left right side of the room. You let go of Karkat's hand and walk towards it. Once you got a closer look, you noticed what looked to be cuttlefish swimming inside.

"So, we should probably get started on that assignment." Feferi chirps.

You turn to her, where she was sitting at a desk.

"Right."

You nod and walk over to the bed, taking a seat. Karkat takes a seat beside you awkwardly, pulling out his work. You pull out the work you had already begun and look back up at Feferi.

"Let's try to finish as much as possible tonight."
