"So then he fell down and smacked his face on the ground." John tells you, causing you to laugh.

"John, if you don't shut the fuck up." Dave groans, covering his probably embarrassed face with his hands.

You chuckle, patting Dave on the shoulder, "it's okay, and everyone falls for a prank once in their life."

The weather was beginning to get cold, so you had decided to wear a jumper that Dave let you borrow. Today Dave invited you to walk with him and John today.

"Hey, you dipshits," you hear a voice call, "wait for me."

You look behind you to see Karkat storming towards you. You give him a lopsided grin, which causes him to deepen his frown.

"Ah, good morning sunshine." You greet, making John laugh.

"What're you doing here?" Karkat asks.

"Well, I live with Dave, and I need to go to school."

Karkat just rolls his eyes.

"Alright, let's just go."

Karkat begins walking beside Dave, hands shoved in his pockets. You look at Dave, who just shrugs and you all just continue on your way to school. You sputter as a leaf hits you in the face, almost going in your mouth. You wipe it from your face and growl when you hear the others laughing at you.

"Man I hate you guys."

"Aww, come on," Dave rests a hand on your shoulder, "it's okay."

You just groan in reply.

"So (y/n), got any plans for this weekend?" Karkat asks.

You blink and look over at him, "not that I know of, why?"

"Hey man, that's my sibling."

"Ugh, I was just trying to make conversation, geez."

"Really?" John mocks, "are you sure you're not just preying on the new student?"

"Fucking hell I hate you guys."

"Wow Karkat," you grin, "I didn't know you were that kind of person."

"Will you just shut up?"

Dave wraps an arm around you protectively, "touch my sibling and I'll kick your ass."

Karkat lets out an inhuman noise, which sounded similar to a cat that had its tail pulled before storming off.

"Welp, that's that done for the week."

Dave nods, patting your head before removing his arm.

"Wait, do you have a schedule or something?" you ask.

"Yeah, at least once a week." John nods.

"Well, thanks for letting me walk with you," you smile, "I'll be off now."

"Alright, see ya."

"Bye!"

You leave the two boys behind and go to see if you could find any of your friends. You snuggle your nose into the hoodie, trying to heat up your cold nose.

"Oh, (y/n)."

You turn around to see Sollux walking into the school.

"Oh, hi Sollux," you greet, "good to see you."

"Yeah, you too."

"So, do you have any idea where Feferi or Eridan might be?"

"Well, Feferi should have arrived by now, she's probably in the art room."

"Okay, sweet," you nod, "you coming?"

"Yeah, why not." He shrugs.

The both of you begin to talk about whatever came to mind, mainly videogames. It wasn't long before you reach the art room, where Feferi, Nepeta and Equius were sitting around a table. You could see that Equius was working on some sort of metal figure and Nepeta was painting. Her hands and face were covered in paint; luckily she was wearing an art smock, otherwise her clothes would also be a variety of odd colours.

"Hey guys!" you smile.

They all look up once they hear your voice.

"Oh, hi there (y/n)!" Nepeta greets with a wave, splattering paint everywhere.

"Hi (y/n), Sollux!" Feferi greets.

"Hello." Equius waves before getting back to whatever he was doing.

"So, how was your weekends?" you ask as you take a seat beside Nepeta.

"It went quite well, Meulin and I went to the zoo!" Nepeta exclaims happily.

"I was at home since my father wasn't home and my brother was sick." Equius tells you.

"Oh, I just went to the beach." Feferi shrugged.

"Sent a bunch of viruses to Karkat." Sollux snickers.

You nod, resting your chin on your palm. You had spent last night binging a show that Dirk had introduced you to on Sunday, so you were incredibly tired.

"Here you all are." A voice huffs.

You didn't need to look behind you to know it was Eridan.

"Well good morning Eridan." You holler.

"Yeah, yeah," Eridan sighs, taking a seat beside you, "good morning."

You groan as you lean in Eridan's shoulder.

"Are you alright (y/n)?" Feferi asks.

"Yep, just tired."

Just as you felt yourself drifting off to sleep, the loud bell jolts you back awake.

"Okay, let's go to home class." Eridan groans.
