"Do you think mother would be happy about this?"  A little boy with short light green hair and forest green eyes looks over to you.

"I am sure! I think ma... sorry I mean mother will love it! Besides these are some beautiful flowers!"  A tiny version of yourself jumps excitedly holding the glass vase with a handful of bright flowers.

"Alright, then shall we give these to mother?" The boy asks with a soft smile across his face.

"Mhm! Mhm!" You nod your tiny head vigorously filled with joy.

The two of you walk up stairs and down a very long hallway dimly lit with candles. Along the walls were paintings or drawings adorn by a golden or silver shining frame. Some of the paintings were covered by a blue curtain for some reason. Not too long of walking down the hall you both stop in front of a large white door adorn with all sorts of jewels and stones.

"You ready?" The little boy looks back at you.

"Yes~" You smile softly to him.

For some reason there was a hint of worry and hesitation in his eyes but he said nothing and knocks on the door. The doors open and instantly a flash of light blurs your vision and you find yourself on the floor with glass shattered around you and the flowers all spread across the floor. A large white form approaches you and slaps you across the face.

"How dare you! What are you trying to do?! Remind me of how disgusting I am?! You rotten spoiled little girl!!!" A woman's voice echos in your ears with rage.

Just as the figure was about to smack you again you close your eyes and once you open them you see that you are looking up at a familiar white ceiling. You began to pant heavily covered in sweat.

"Just a dream...," You run your fingers through your messy hair assuring yourself that you were safe.

You felt your heart finally calm down as you began to get out of bed and head to your bathroom to take a bath. It was a bit early so you felt groggy and upset so you decide to take a bath to wake yourself up a bit more and feel better. You walk into the bathroom and instantly turn on the bath. As you strip off your pajamas you stare at the mark along your back. You don't really remember where or when you got it but it was always there and there were times when it would sting. Sometimes it began to feel like a burning sensation.

"I need to clear my head," You shake your head placing a smile on your face and dip into the warm bath that instantly soothes your body as you melt into the pleasure.

"Baths are the best~" You hum happily.

You continue to soak in the bath until you could hear your alarm clock ring outside the bathroom. You sigh pouting wanting to stay longer in the bath but you do have to do things to do. A ninja must always be on their toes.

You got out of the bath putting a warm towel around your body and drain the bath. As you left you grab a smaller towel to help dry your hair and you threw yourself on your bed to reach your arm to turn off your clock. You quickly get yourself ready for the day and put on your usual ninja uniform. You stare at the headband along your forehead smiling at yourself.

"You look great so go kick some ass!" You tell yourself and make your way out of your home.

{Timeskip}
"What the hell are with these boring ass D missions!" Naruto shouts in frustration as he throws a fit.

"Relax Naruto we did just start being actual ninjas not too long ago," Sakura retorts sighing.

Sasuke said nothing but you can tell that he wants to do more than these silly missions of helping find and catch lost cats or get rid of wandering bears in the area. Sometimes it would be just smaller missions of just delivering things within the village. You couldn't really say much not only because you did agree of wanting a more interesting mission but you were busy enjoying some freshly made takoyaki that some kids gave you for helping get their cat back home. You hum happily enjoying the takoyaki.

"But come on Sakura! Shikamaru and his group went out on a mission and so did Kiba's group!" Naruto stomps his feet like a child as you all continue to walk down the street together.

"Then you can bring your complaints to the Third," Kakashi states with his hands in his pockets.

That's right you just finished a mission with the others and are about to go report to the Third Hokage on the results. That's usually how it goes. Get assigned. Do the mission. Report it to the Hokage. Then the cycle repeats. You admit it is a bit annoying to get the same missions over and over again but what can you do.

Sakura scolds Naruto a bit for glaring at Sasuke who obviously glared back despite not wanting to give a fuck. The sparks between these two never cease to amaze you. The dorky blonde ramen lover and the quite edgy emo boy. Lovin the tension. You couldn't help but smile while rolling your eyes as you watch the three of them be their usual lively selves. Well at least you think Sasuke is being livelier than usual. You can't tell since he has a pretty good poker face.

"Alright are you ready?" Kakashi grabs everyone attention earning a surprised shout or cry from the others.

"Yep lets go," You say bluntly and walk ahead of everyone.

"W...Wait up! (y/n)-chan!" Sakura calls out to you.

"Come on you guys or I'll ditch you~" You quickly state walking faster taking a small glance back at them sticking your tongue out.

"Hey! No fair! I wanted to be the first one there!" Naruto pouts and comes charging after you.

Not too long after everyone was close behind me. Once we were all together in front of the Third Hokage's door you smile happy to bring up the mood a little bit. We quickly enter into the Third Hokage's office. As soon as everyone walks into the room the Third stares at all of you with an intense stare. You felt a bit nervous as you bit your bottom lip. Once you make eye contact with him you curtly nod and he does the same back.

"Greetings Third, we have just finished the mission requested about a week ago on finding someone's cat successfully," You report and bow deeply to the Third Hokage.

"Well done children. I assume that NO one and NOthing was harmed, correct?" He says emphasizing on his words.

"Yes,sir!" You all say in unison.

"BUT!" You roll your eyes once you heard Naruto speak up.

Sakura and you look at each other.

You mouth to her sighing as she nods giggling a little.

"I am so tired of the dumb boring missions looking for cats and getting rid of bears putting them back into the forest! They are all so so boring! Come on we should be doing higher level missions!" Naruto yells at the Third Hokage.

It's a bit disrespectful to be yelling at the Hokage but Naruto was getting a point.

We just graduated from the academy and we graduated to be ninjas not Paw Patrol. You worked hard to even get a simple headband to be able to earn a title and ability of a ninja. So being able to do these things sure are necessary but there is more than just... being animal control. You sigh to yourself as you stood up straight walking up to Naruto.

"Huh? (y/n)?" Naruto looks at you in confusion.

You grab onto his shoulders with a wide smile across your face. You then swung your leg and kick the back of his head earning a groan of pain from him.

"(y-y/n)-chan?!" Sakura calls out to you in surprise.

"I am deeply sorry for his informal behavior. He is being a bit naive but I do have to agree with how he feels. We decided to grow and be ninjas. We aren't here to be animal control. I think me and my fellow teammates are prepared for a higher level mission," You held your breath as you stare at the Third straight in the eyes.

The Third Hokage just stares back at you for a moment. There was a long tingling moment of silence. Slowly the Third's eyes shift over to Kakashi. Kakashi sends him a nod which makes the Third sigh. He clears his throat and looks up to everyone.

"Fine, I shall grant you a mission of a higher level. This is NOT because you ask but it is because I can see the approval from your sensei who seems to think you all are capable to an extent," Third explains.

"Wait really old man?!" Naruto jumps up in excitement with a large bump on the back of his head.

The Third Hokage nods with a subtle smile on his face.

Everyone instantly lit up and smile at each other. Well except I am super cool emo fuck boy Sasuke who was just standing there with his hands in his pockets. Sakura cheers excitedly and hugs you. You laugh hugging her back. Naruto jumps fist pumping into the air. You look over your shoulder smiling happily at Kakashi who already has his eye on you. Your face instantly went bright red once you made eye contact. Your heart was beating like crazy that you panic hoping Sakura couldn't hear it. You instantly turn away flustered. Your mind immediately goes blank when you look into his eye. It pisses you off because you don't want to admit it.

You really need to stay away from Kakashi.

You are his student. Just a student.

{Timeskip}

"S...So...," You speak up nervously looking away from...

"So?" Kakashi repeats lifting his brow.

HOW THE HELL DID YOU END UP BEING IN THIS SITUATION?!

YOU LITERALLY JUST TOLD YOURSELF TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DANGEROUSLY ATTRACTIVE MANS!!!

Once the meeting was over earlier you all went out together and got ramen. You swear you thought that the ramen world was going to end. Naruto is one hell of a ramen eating machine. He was going at it stuffing his face like no tomorrow. Sakura watched in discomfort and disgust that she didn't even touch hers so Naruto obviously ate her share. Sasuke didn't seem to care much. You can say the same for Kakashi except when it came to the bill. You couldn't help but sit there and laugh nervously at the time as you slowly ate your ramen. Then somehow everyone split up afterwards to get home. Naruto then Sakura then Sasuke. All of them left leaving you and Kakashi...

THIS IS THE LAST LAST LAST LAST LAST THING YOU WANTED!

"So why are you walking me back home?" You choke a little on your words looking at anywhere but him.

"Is there something wrong with walking my own student home? I don't see why I can't. Besides I have to do somethings in this direction," Kakashi replies.

"I...I see! W...What a coincidence!" You stutter with a wry smile on your face.

You can feel his eye on you which is why you are overly anxious. Why the hell did you just stutter?! He hasn't even done anything! You literally feel like you are about to faint from not being able to function properly right now. Holy Third Hokage Kakashi!!!! Why does he have to be like this?! You slowly hug yourself trying to get your endlessly wandering thoughts out of your head. B...But it wouldn't hurt to get a quick peek right? It's rude to not stare at each other during conversations right?

Before you knew it once you glance over at him you couldn't help but stare as the moonlight illuminates his figure. You were completely dazed as you stare at him until his eye looks over to you catching you staring.

"Hm?" He hums.

You instantly turn bright red and cough a little straightening your posture with your hands to your sides looking away smiling like a dork.

"Oh sorry! Haha the moon?! Yeah uh the moon! I...It's a very lovely night! Am I right?!" I tug on the collar of my dress laughing nervously.

Dummy!!!

You shouldn't be feeling this way towards him anyways! He is your sensei! You are his student! These feelings should not be here! What are you feeling anyway?! It's not right! It is not right at all! "... beautiful...," You heard him mumble but you didn't catch everything else that he said.

"Huh? S...sorry did you say something sensei?" You tilt your head looking back at him.

"Nothing. Nevermind don't worry about it kiddo," He looks down at you patting the top of your head while his other hand was tugging at his mask and you might be crazy but you think you might have seen his cheeks turn pink.

You both continue to walk down the road in complete silence afterwards. You couldn't help but want to talk to him but you weren't sure what to talk about. You slowly get closer to Kakashi as your heart was racing. However, Kakashi didn't seem to notice at all. You were debating whether or not to reach out and grab his hand. Even just a little hand slide would be fine. Right?! You got a little closer to the point where you felt your arm rub up against his own which makes your heart jump right out your throat. Kakashi lets out a small cough looking away. You slap yourself mentally wanting all of it to be over. Luckily your cry was heard and came up across a familiar apartment.

"This is my stop sensei. I umm... I guess I will see you tomorrow sense..." Just as you were about to say farewell a loud shout cuts you off.

"KAKASHIII!!!" Both of you look over to see a distant figure running straight towards us.

"KA-KA-SHIIIII!!!" As the figure got closer you instantly recognized the voice of a certain "youthful" sensei.

GAI-SENSEI?!

"Right, go ahead and head on home. I..." Kakashi sighs and was talking to you saying his farewell until something that you never thought would happen but did.

 Gai came at us at full force that when he tries to brake in attempt to stop himself he ends up sliding into Kakashi. Kakashi is shoved forward making him fall over a bit running into you making you both crash onto the floor. You let out a small yelp as you close your eyes out of panic falling but luckily it didn't hurt. You open your eyes to be eye to eye with Kakashi who was inches from you. Only to feel a strange warm sensation on your lips. You finally caught onto what was happening. Kakashi still had his mask on but you can still feel the warmth of his lips through it. You had steam come out of your ears as you blush bright red. You quickly push him off covering your face.

"Sorry about that (y/n). Are you alright?" Kakashi asks dusting off his vest as he got up.

You sat there in utter shock and completely dumbfounded. Kakashi coughs reaching his hand out to me to help you up. You were still malfunctioning to the point where words couldn't come out of your mouth. You slowly look up at his piercing black eye which made you melt. There it is again. That strange fuzzy feeling is spreading across your chest again. The butterflies in your tummy make you ache.

No! Stop! Bad (y/n)! This is wrong!

You shake yourself out of your train of thought trying to pull yourself together. You get up by yourself and instantly run away to your apartment.

Once you open the door and shut it close you lean back against the door hugging your beating chest. You slide down sitting on the floor gritting your teeth in frustration running your fingers through your hair trying to ignore the feelings growing inside of you.

"I am losing my god damn mind!!!!"
