Percy stopped celebrating for a moment.
Sure, he'd just defeated Kronos, but he decided to look back on his life.
He'd been abused by his stepfather Gabriel Ugliano until he took his mother's advice and ran away at the age of seven. He then met Thalia, Annabeth and Luke, before meeting Grover and going to Camp Half-Blood.
Of course, he'd fallen in lo- like with Luke, and found out the feeling was mutual. They'd been a happy couple, even though Percy and Annabeth left on a quest with Grover a week later. Once Percy got back, Luke revealed himself as evil - yet Percy still believed that he was good.
Percy (for once) had outsmarted Annabeth and was proven to be right just before the love of his life's death.
After that, things were kind of a blur for him. The gods had shown up, and they had held a mini funeral for the son of Hermes, burning his shroud. Then, the gods had offered him immortality.
He'd refused.
The reason? He didn't want to leave his best friend (and other friends) just because Luke had died.
Plus, he'd been in the care of Will Solace, and...........
He was pretty cute.
And Percy wasn't like those people that have a new S.O every week.
However, Luke was dead and wasn't coming back.
Percy had swore never to love again.
He was scared that Will Solace might cause him to break that vow.
There you go!
This was an idea I got after realizing how good of a couple Will and Percy would be.
Solangelo works because of the clashing personalities of Nico and Will. Nico is broken inside, having lost his sister and so many others.
He's straight-up depressed.
I see Percy similarly. He's had to live watching people die, without him being able to do anything about it.
So the same way Will and Nico work, Will and Percy would also.
The ships involving any other characters will be canon, however I have an idea for Annabeth's boyfriend.
I don't for Nico's boyfriend or girlfriend (I see him as bi and it never was confirmed he wasn't) so you can put suggestions here.
Don't suggest Reyna though as this story will include Theyna.
Also, any parts of the story skimmed over are mostly the same. Take out the Percabeth kisses and flirting and switch Annabeth not accepting Luke is evil with Percy doing it, and it's the same.
I haven't really changed up the story of PJO, but HoO will be very different.
As you expected, if you don't like the pairings, GET OUT.

I do too.
This is an idea I had. It's perfectly OK to ship a character with someone else even if you ship a pairing involving that character.
At least, it is in my eyes.
I ship Percabeth more, but (and I restate) this is an idea I had.
If you don't like it, as stated earlier, GET OUT.
Don't complain to me, I'm not changing the story.
