Aayla POV

"Kids dinner is ready." Daddy said as we ran into the dining room to eat, "Daddy, what's that whispering?" I asked, "Whispering? What are you talking about? I don't hear anything." Luke said, "What's it saying dear?" Daddy asked, "It just keeps saying Mandalor, go to Mandalor." I said, "Liar." Luke scoffed, "AM NOT!" I said, "Obi is this..." Mom said, "It could be, it wouldn't hurt to find out. At the very least she gets to see where she was born." Daddy said.

The next day we got on a ship Mom bought and set off to Mandalor. "Blast!" Daddy said, "I told you we should top off the fuel, but no, former General Kenobi knows best." Mom said, "Mom, Dad, what's going on?" Luke asked, "Well we're not gonna make it to Mandalor as planned, we have just enough fuel left to make it to Kalevala and refuel." Mom said Daddy looked like he wanted to say something, but couldn't so he steered us toward the new planet.

When we landed Mom seemed oddly happy, "Mom?" I said, "Sorry I haven't been home in a very long time." Mom said, "AND YOU NEVER SHOULD HAVE COME BACK!" a woman shouted as she landed in front of us.

She aimed a blaster at my mother and I ignited my father's lightsaber, which I dug up just before we left, and tried to cut the barrel off her blaster, but Luke tried the same thing and we only got in each other's way, "Children! That is enough. We do not resort to violence in this family! Is that understood? And Bo, put that blaster away and hug your sister for God's sake." Mom scolded as she opened her arms for a hug, "In your dreams." Bo said as she flew away, "Good form kids, way to try." Daddy said as Luke and I got up, "Who was that?!" Luke asked angrily, "That was Bo-Katan Kryze, my sister, and your aunt." Mom said as she walked towards a large castle, "Where are you going?!" Daddy asked, "To get a hug!" Mom said, "She's gonna get herself killed." Daddy and I said.

We went into the castle and saw Aunt Bo sitting on the throne, "Leave or die. You and your husband have taken more than enough from me." Aunt Bo said coldly, "Bo-Katan, you know what I'm here for, now give your sister a hug damn it." Mom said, "No." Aunt Bo said, "Mom can we just refuel and get going? This nerf herder isn't going to be any help. I bet I could beat her in a fight if I really tried." I said, "Big talk for a little girl." she said as she drew her blaster and fired a stun blast at me and my mother, but I used the Force to stop them and threw the blasts into the floor, "She gets that from her father." Mom chuckled, "I can sense the warrior spirit in you, you are far different than your mother and father." Aunt Bo said, "I'll give you the fuel and safe passage to Mandalor if that is your destination, but only if she takes the trials." she said, "Absolutely not!" Mom said, "I'll do it! We need to get to Mandalor and I wanna do it my way." I said, "Excellent, the trials will begin tomorrow on Concordia." She said.

Satine POV

Bo "allowed" us to stay in my castle for the night, "I sense that you're troubled, what's wrong my dear?" Obi-Wan asked, "It's Aayla, I've always wanted to have a relationship with my daughter, or at least a better relationship than the one I had with my mother. But she's..." I said stopping to gather my thoughts, "She's like me. You're jealous of our relationship." He said as he wrapped his arm around me, "Precisely, I just wish she'd come to me for some of her problems. I'm her mother and it feels like she's pushing me away." I sighed, "She's not pushing you away, she's told me several times how she wishes you weren't so busy so you could watch her train. She loves you, but more than that, she respects you." He said, "And yet I'm still the favorite parent." He said in the jokingly sarcastic tone that only he could do. He never failed to make me smile, "Only because you bribe them." I said as I kissed his cheek.

The next morning we set off to Concordia. "This armor is so uncomfortable!" Aayla said as she shifted in her seat, she wore black and blue armor similar to Bo's, but the clantag on her shoulder was the symbol of the Jedi order, "I know it is, but you'll get used to it." I said, "How would you know." Bo said coldly, "Hopefully you're nothing like your Mom, if you aren't, maybe you'll survive." she said.

Aayla POV

"Welcome everyone! Today we will be testing the strength and spirits of these children allowing only one the right to be called Mandalorian. In addition, we have a rather exciting addition to this year's contestants, my niece Aayla Kryze-Kenobi." Aunt Bo said earning boos from the crowd before she raised her hand demanding them to be silent, "Many have died in these trials, if you do not accept the risk, leave now." she said but not one of the thirteen of us moved an inch, "Good, you are being given two blaster pistols loaded with stun rounds. A well-placed shot can knock out an opponent or even kill them. The vital areas of the trial armor you all wear have been made so the stun rounds will affect you. A vital shot will knock out while it will take multiple shots to knock out an opponent anywhere else. There are six vibro-blades hidden around the arena." Aunt Bo said as we received two identical blasters, I looked at one of the blasters in my hand.

'How uncivilized.' I thought as I holstered both Blasters, "The trial shall begin in thirty minutes you have until then to familiarize yourself with your weapons and armor." Aunt Bo said, "You're gonna die, princess." A boy said coldly before he left, "HI!" An energetic girl said, "Hello?" I said confused as to who she was or why she was being so friendly, "I'm Sabine Wren, wanna be friends?" She asked, "Uh friends? I thought everyone here hated me?" I said, "They do, well they hate your mom and by extension you, but I don't! Your mom is my hero, and I'd really like to be your friend." She said, "Ok then we can be friends." I said with a smile, "Let's team up! Cause I know I can fight, and I really don't wanna fight my friend." She said, "Same here, but Sabine your armor doesn't suit you. The dark grays and black doesn't suit your vibrant personality." I said as we walked to our rooms.

"Boy, hand me your blasters!" My father demanded, "Yes father!" I said as I handed over my weapons and watched him replace the ammunition clips, "I want you to kill the daughter of Duchess Satine." He said as he handed back my blasters.
