3:50 A.M.

I sat in front of Drift, as I fiddled with my fingers nervously.

"So, Melody. Where are your creators?" He asked.

I froze.

I felt panic build up inside me.

'What do I say? I cant just say that I ran away.' Then an idea came to me.

"My parents are dead." I said with no sadness or any emotion at all.

Silence came after I said that.

"I'm sorry for your lost." Drift said to me with sadness and regret.

"Its okay." I said. "They are in a better place."

'Yeah right, they're probably sitting at home getting drunk over and over again, I thought.

Drift looks at me and asks," How did they die? If you don't mind me asking?"

I looked down at my feet and then said," They got into a car accident."

Drift and I sat there in silence, just sitting there until I decided to break the awkward silence.

"So where do you come from?" I asked.

"I came from a planet called Cybertron. Its light years away from your planet. But my planet is kind of destroyed, not literally but my race cant really live on it." Drift said

"I'm sorry for the lose of your planet. But if its so far from here. How did you get here?" I asked, while looking up at him.

Drift looks at me," I got here by a ground bridge that is located on a space ship called 'The Lost Light.' He replied.

I was about to ask another question until Drift asked me," Would you like to come to The Lost Light with me, and meet the other Autobot's? Since you don't really have a place to stay."

I felt shocked.

'He wants me to come with him? I just met him and he's asking me to come to his space ship?' I thought.

I thought for a little bit until I stood up and looked up at him, and smiled.

"I would love to go with you." I said.

He smiled and laid his servo down to the ground for me.

I held onto one of his finger and pulled myself up onto the palm of his hand and held onto the finger.

He stood up to his full height, and put his other hand up to his ear like horns and pressed some sort of button.

"Drift to Lost Light. Come in. I have a request for a ground bridge, and can you turn on the oxygen level to the equivalent level of Earth's? We are going to have a guest from earth come there." He said and then stopped pressing the button as a weird glowing green, blue, and purple spiraling thing appeared.

Drift started to walk towards it and entered it.

About half a second later we made it through the portal thing and we were greeted with other giant metal beings staring at us. But mostly staring at me.
