Abby's P.O.V:
I am here. I read the note over and over again, trying to undertstand the meaning of the letter. The note was attached to a bedroom door in our new institute in Florida. To me, the institute looked the same on the outside, old and church like, but the inside was another story. Bright orange walls were painted everywhere, and the furniture was all black, and everything was brand new. Well, except this one room where the note was attached. Dust flew in your eyes once you opened the door, and the walls were the color of blood. A bunch of hand prints were left on the note, so my parents, Jace and clary, scanned the note with their stele, trying to figure out who wrote it. No DNA was shown, as if the person was a ghost. Of course, since we couldn't figure it out, my uncle Alec took the note to the clave. After weeks of waiting, we found out who wrote the note. Sebastian Morgenstern. My parents told me he was dead, and one of his followers wrote this, but something tells me they are lying. Ever since the demon attacks in New York, my parents have been over protective, and it gets really annoying. Everywhere I go, I must put a tracking rune on myself, and I have to go with an adult. I'm almost ten, and my parents are treating me like I'm 5, so tonight I'll get revenge. I'm going to tell my dad that I'll be in the weapons room, but instead I'll go out the back door to check out Florida. And I'll have no tracking rune so nobody will know where I am. I know I took a chance telling my older sister, Sage since she is a rule follower, but I need her to cause a distraction so I can stay out longer without anyone noticing me. Taking chances is my middle name, so when I want to do something, I'll do it. Whether I get hurt, or lost, I'll always find a way back home. I will do whatever it takes to make sure my family is safe. I'm a herondale, and I'm not afraid to do anything.
