After 100 years

Bella's POV

Time. It passed so easily.

100 years have passed since they left.

100 years since my babies came into my life.

And 80 years since I left Denali's.

I and my kids decided that we had given them enough troubles. But they have promised they would not tell the Cullen's if they came by.

We appreciated all the help and told it was their selflessness. We always visit them when we got a chance.

They have become my family.

Today I and my children are moving back to Forks. So many memories came.

Last time I visited Forks was when my dad was going to die and we stayed with him until he did. He was very pleased to meet his grandchildren but angry too because I didn't tell him it was his children. But he forgave me.

"Mom what are you thinking about?", EJ asked. I smiled at him and said, "Just about Charlie ".

"And them?" Nessie asked. I sighed and nodded.

"It's okay Mom we are here". EJ smiled that crooked smile of his father.

I stopped breathing for a second but smiled back.

He just was like his Dad. Renesme, on the other hand, is just like me except for the eyes and hair.

We both could be twins as everyone says.

We arrived at our house. I have firstly transported all the furniture and necessary items.

Our house was big, bigger than the Cullen's house.

We made our way to our rooms. Tomorrow we are going to start school again. Ugh. I hate school.

I went into Nessie's room and saw her sleeping on her king size bed and fully dressed.

I switched her clothes with her PJ's with my hand. I really love my gifts sometimes. I then made my way to EJ's room.

I saw him too laying with his PJ's on and blanket on the side. I slowly made my way to his side and pulled his blanket and wrapped it around him. I stood there for some time and was about to leave when I heard him, "Do you still love him?"

I knew who he was talking about.

"I knew you were awake." I turned to him smiling.

I sat down at his side and met his gaze. "I don't".

"You are convincing yourself rather than me."

"EJ he left me."

"But you still love him?" he said.

"I did but I love you guys more", I said.

"Mom why don't you move on", he said placing his head on my lap.

"EJ I can't. I am broken beyond repair. " I said slowly stroking his head.

"Mom what will we do when we meet them?" He asked.

I thought and took a deep breath and said, "We ignore them and pretend we don't know them."

I saw him looking intensely to me.

"Okay, now you should go to your bed," I said and he obeyed.

"Mom, can you sing your lullaby to me?"

"Yes," And I began to hum the lullaby he had composed for me. He soon sleeps into a dreamless sleep.

The book is progressing wonderfully.
