When the five got to the source of the roaring they heard after they entered the forest, they noticed a multitude of beasts, or, more like demons. They were huge, storm clouds surrounding their hands and feet, while lightning shot out from them. Natsu and Lucy were fighting the things.

"By the looks of it, they need some help." Kayla said, "Why don't we assist them. I'm still a little angry from earlier."

Voodoo smiled. "Same here." She raised her hands and the demon attacking Lucy suddenly froze, turning around and attacking his own kind. "Looks like you needed some help." She shouted, looking at Lucy.

"You came just in time!" Lucy exclaimed, smiling. "Thanks!"

Kayla jumped forwards, attacking one of the demons head on. She kicked one in the head, lightning surrounding her foot. When she landed, she turned towards it, casting a spell. "Lightning Storm!" She shouted out, while bolts of lightning reached down from the sky and hit the demon, watching as it screamed in pain, falling to the ground in defeat.

Beside her, Melody let fire engulf her whole body, and she lunged at one of the other demons, attacking it.

Finny turned into a mouse, scurrying up the demon and stopped once he got on it's head, turning into a whale, crushing the demon.

April looked up at one of the demons, her eyes glowing a pale blue as ice surrounded the demon, trapping it.

After a while of fightning, they were all defeated, and Kayla sat against a tree, resting.

"For big creatures, they went down easily." April muttered.

"You heard what Cole said." Melody whispered, making sure Natsu and Lucy couldn't hear. "They were only one the first seal."

"The first seal to what though?" Finny asked them quietly.

"I don't know." Kayla told them, standing up. "But I have a feeling it goes with what he told us earlier." She looked up at the others. "Mors a tempestate."

"What was that?" Natsu asked, walking over to the five with Happy and Lucy beside him.

Kayla glanced at Finny, who nodded.

"It wouldn't hurt to explain." He said, a look in his eyes meaning, 'explain, but don't tell them everything'.

"When we split up, we found something... Or someone interesting." She said. "It was a wizard, he was creepy, but, he told us something interesting. Those demons were from a seal, one that he broke."

"I got the vibe that he was from a Dark Guild." Voodoo added.

Kayla nodded. "But before he vanished. He told us something. Mors a tempestate, I feel like it has something to do with those monsters."

"Mors a tempestate?" Lucy asked, looking at Kayla. She placed her hand to her chin, thinking. "I've read that somewhere before, but I... I don't know where."

"Why don't we get back to the guild hall?" Finny suggested. "We may find something out."

"Levy may be able to decipher it." Natsu suggested.

Kayla nodded, she knew Levy, she was a blue haired teen, a bit shorter than herself, and a total bookworm. "Let's hope she can."

"But before we leave, let's go back to our client, he'll be glad that the demons are gone." Lucy said.

"You just want the money." Happy stated.

"I have to pay rent somehow!" Lucy exclaimed.

The seven laughed at her reaction, and they all walked back to the village, where they got to the clients house, where Kayla knocked on the door.

"We're back." She exclaimed, watching as the door cracked open, immediately as the door opened, Cole's scent drifted towards her.

"Have you finished the job?" He asked, his voice sounded tight, he was scared. The scent of fear rolled off him in waves.

"Of course. We wouldn't be back here if we had." Natsu said.

"Then here's your reward." He handed Kayla a bag, and Kayla looked inside it, seeing coins and bills.

"Thanks." She said with a smile.

"I should be the one thanking you!" The man said, smiling. A forced one.

"It's no big deal." Lucy said.

The man nodded and closed the door, leaving the group standing there in silence. "Somethings going on." She whispered.

Finny looked at her. "I noticed it too."

"Now that you mention it, there was someone in that house that wasn't there before." Natsu said. "I didn't think anything of it."

Kayla glanced at Finny, making eye contact with him. She nodded, her eyes narrowed. "I'm going inside." She said, "You guys head off to the train station, I'll be there in a bit."

"Are you sure? If there really is someone in there..." Lucy started.

"I'll be fine. I'm more than capable of handling myself." Before anyone else could say anything, Kayla jumped up onto the roof, making little clouds to cushion her landing. She made sure that none of the others on the ground could see them. She slowly walked across the roof, making her footsteps as quiet as possible. She came across an open skylight window and slipped through, landing silently.

"Good job old man." Cole's voice drifted through the hallway Kayla was in. "Now you're going to tell me where the next seal is, before my little pet gets hungry." Kayla heard a slight growl.

Kayla narrowed her eyes and slowly creeped along the hallway, keeping close against the wall.

"Okay okay! I'll tell you!" The man said, his voice shaking.

Kayla rushed forwards, in front of the man and facing Cole. "Don't say anything." She told the man, then she looked at Cole. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Why would I tell you?" Cole asked. "So you can ruin good ol' daddy's plans?"

Kayla narrowed her eyes. "I'll only ask one more time. What are you doing here." Her hands sparked.

"I don't have time for this." Cole said, sighing, "Cerburus, attack." He snapped his fingers and the smoke-like dog lunged towards Kayla, who raised her arm to defend herself.

She felt the dog's fangs dig into her arm and felt a trickle of warmth running down her arm. She stumbled away from the two, her back hitting the wall as she gripped her arm tightly, a fire-like pain spreading through her veins slowly, she looked at where the creature bit her, tensing when she saw a dark purple vein-like pattern on her arm, getting bigger.

"I bet you can already feel it now, Kayla." Cole said, a sly smile on his face. "Cerberus here can inject a lethal amount of poison in just one bite. You should be thankful that I didn't make him use that much on you. The master wants you alive. For now, you'll just loose your senses temporarily." He chuckled. "Now old man, tell me where the second seal is."

The man looked at Kayla, then looked at the dog. "The second seal is in-" He started, Kayla couldn't hear the rest, since hear hearing was fading.

Kayla saw Cole's mouth moving, and he pointed towards Kayla.

The dog walked over to her, licking the wound twice, then walked back to Cole, then the both of them vanished in a green light.

Kayla felt the pain fade away, and noise started to fill her ears again. She looked over at her arm, seeing that the dark purple lines had vanished, but she was still bleeding.

"I'm sorry." The man said.

"It's okay." Kayla said, standing up. "I should be going before the others start worrying. But before I go, what are the seals for?"

"I don't know." The man said. "The knowledge of having a seal to something dangerous in my village has been passed down for generations, so has the knowledge of where the second seal is."

"Can you tell me where the next seal is?" Kayla asked.

The man looked at her. "That's the thing, I can't seem to remember. That's the price of giving the location of the second seal away, you forget where it is."

Kayla looked at him, her eyes narrowed and her teeth clenching. "I hope you can sleep at night knowing you may of just put the land in danger." She said, walking out of the house, seeing Finny a little ways away. When he saw her, he ran up to her.

"Are you okay?" He asked, concern heavy in his voice when he saw her arm.

Kayla looked up at him. "I'm fine." She said. "It's just a scratch." She looked at him. "Cole knows where the second seal is."

"Where?"

"I don't know." Kayla looked up at him. "There was a spell cast on the knowledge, once you give it away, you can't remember it." She said, "I wasn't able to hear where it's located."

Finny looked at her. "Let's get back to the guild. They'll be able to help."

Kayla nodded, and followed Finny to the train station.

As the two were walking to the train station, Kayla kept her eyes on the ground. "Will we have to tell them about... You know... Us?"

Finny looked at her. "I'll find a way to avoid telling them." He said. "Just, leave the talking to me."

"Right."

The two walked in silence, and soon the train station was in sight, the others waiting for them at the entrance. The two walked up and Lucy immediately noticed the blood.

"Are you okay?!" She exclaimed.

"I'm fine." She said, then she looked over at the group, and they looked at her, understanding the expression on her face.

"No." Voodoo whispered.

"No what?" Natsu asked, serious.

"We'll tell you later." Finny said. "This is something Master needs to hear."
