~Natsu's POV~
After the five introduced themselves and the guild started to celebrate, Natsu noticed that a certain black haired metal-faced man was watching Kayla with narrowed eyes.

"Hey, why aren't ya celebrating?" Natsu asked, walking up to him.

He didn't reply, he just kept staring.

"Come on Gajeel, I know you heard me." Natsu smirked. "Has Metal-face gotten a crush?" He teased.

Gajeel looked, more like glared, at him, "It' not that!" He exclaimed, then looked back at Kayla. "There's something familiar about that girl. It's her scent."

"He scent?" Natsu asked. "How so?"

"I've smelt it somewhere before."

"So? You could of past her on a mission somewhere."

"That's no the problem." Gajeel growled. "I didn't smell her scent exactly, but something similar to it, like a relative."

"So, everyone has relatives." Natsu said.

"You don't get it. The last time I smelt that scent was when I was back in Phantom Lord." Gajeel told him, turning and walking away, leaving Natsu to watch him go in confusion.

~Kayla's POV~
Kayla was celebrating with the others, looking over and seeing Natsu and a big, metal faced man with Black hair talking, she sneezed, wondering what they were talking about, she just shrugged it off and she continued talking with the others.

The five were sitting at one of the tables a couple days after the party, talking happily when Natsu came over to them with a smile.

"Why don't you five go on a job with us?" He asked.

"A job?" Kayla asked, tilting her head.

"Yeah! People request stuff for us to do. Like stuff they need help with!" Natsu exclaimed.

Kayla thought for a moment, "Like a lost child?" She asked.

"Yeah, that could be a job."

Kayla looked at him, and smiled a bit. "I don't know about you four, but I'm starting to get a bit restless."

"I am too." Melody said, standing up grinning.

"I could do something." Finny agreed.

"I may as well go with you guys." April said.

"This'll be fun!" Voodoo exclaimed.

Natsu smiled. "Awesome! Hey, Luce, Happy! We have some more hands!" Natsu said.

The blonde haired girl, who Kayla learned was Lucy, looked over at the six, and smiled, "Great! We'll need all the help we can get with this job, since Gray, Erza, and Wendy went on another job yesterday."

"What is it?" Melody asked, walking up to Lucy. "The job, I mean."

"It's beating a whole group of monsters that are supposed to be really scary!" Happy said, flying up to Melody.

"Beating up monsters, huh?" Voodoo asked, "Sounds fun."

"Let's get going!" Natsu shouted out, grabbing the job and giving it to Mira. "We'll take this one!" He exclaimed.

After Mira sent word that they would take the job, the eight got going, heading to the Magnolia train station.

"So, why don't we walk?" Melody asked.

"It would take days for us to walk there." Lucy told them, "If we go by train it won't take as long."

"Why a train?" Natsu groaned.

"What's wrong with a train?" Kayla asked, walking beside the grumbling Natsu.

"Natsu gets motion sickness." Happy stated.

"Really?"

"So does Gajeel. I think it's a dragon Slayer thing."

"Does that mean that Wendy gets it also?" Kayla asked, tilting her head. She had heard that Gajeel was and Iron Dragon Slayer, but she had never met him personally. She also knew he was the black haired man Natsu was talking to the day of the celebration.

"No, she must be immune, but, how did you know she was a dragon slayer?" Lucy asked.

Kayla looked over at her calmly. "I overheard it a while ago. I can't remember from who though." She stifled a sigh of relief as Lucy seemed to believe her.

"Well, then, I guess you know about all the dragon slayers in the guild then, except for Laxus, who's a Lightning Dragon Slayer." Lucy said.

"Yeah." Kayla agreed, feeling kind of guilty for hiding her real abilities.

"Oh, here's the train!" Lucy exclaimed, "Come on, let's go!"

The group followed her willingly, but since the group was so big, they had to use two different coaches, Lucy, Natsu, Happy, April, Kayla and April sat in one, while Melody and Voodoo sat in the other.

"Should we really trust them to be in a coach together, alone?" April asked.

"Why wouldn't you?" Natsu asked.

Kayla sweat dropped, "Well, you see, the way you and Gray act with each other is practically the way Melody and Voodoo act." She told them. She had seen how Gray and Natsu acted when they argued.

"They'll be fine." Finny told them. "Most damage they'd do with each other is rip each other's clothing."

Kayla sighed. "I guess you're right." She said.

Suddenly the train lurched and Natsu groaned, causing Kayla to look at him, seeing his cheeks puffed out and his face turning a greenish color, after a minute of being on the moving train, Kayla was in a similar state,leaning her head against the window.

"Kayla? You okay?" April asked, looking at her with concern.

"Just.... Peachy." Kayla told her weakly, her voice drenched in sarcasm.

"Wow. You're almost as bad as Natsu." Happy stated, snickering.

"Shut up.... You... Stupid cat." Kayla grumbled.

The train ride went by almost smoothly, Voodoo and Melody had to be pulled apart once or twice before they killed each other, and Kayla had tried to escape the train by going out the window a couple times, only to be held back by Finny, and soon, the train lurched to a stop, and both Kayla and Natsu were immediately healed.

"I have come to a conclusion!" Kayla exclaimed as she walked off the train with the others. "I hate trains with a burning passion!"

"Well, we're here anyways. Let's get to that clients house." Lucy said.

"Lead the way." Finny told her.

The group walked along the village, it seemed familiar to Kayla, but she couldn't place exactly where they were.

"You know, I think those new outfits fit you guys pretty well if I do say so myself." Lucy said, breaking the silence.

Kayla glanced down at her outfit. It was different than what she was wearing when in the hospital. Different than what she had always worn. Instead of the torn long sleeved white shirt and torn brown pants she was wearing when she arrived at FairyTail, she wore a gray crop top with a black undershirt, a gold belt held up a matching gray skirt, she also wore a necklace, one that she got as a child, a smooth lightning shaped stone, being held around her neck by a simple black string. And though Lucy insisted, Kayla refused to get any shoes.

She looked over at the others, Voodoo had chosen a strapless violet dress with gold on the edges, sleeves came down her arms, starting in the middle of her upper arm and fanning out once they reached her hands, the FairyTail symbol was on the side of both of her sleeves. She wore a mesh-like black material that went down her legs like tights and up to halfway up to her neck, along with connecting the dress with the sleeves. Finally, she wore dark gray knee high boots.

April decided to wear something sweet and simple. A simple light green dress with a golden belt, and golden strings hanging down from the top part of the dress, which folded down and showed her shoulders, along with a matching pair of golden shoes.

Melody chose to wear a white collared button up shit with a violet suit jacket over it, along with black pants that had a hole for her tail to fit through, and golden buttons holding the suit jacket closed, she wore some plain black flats, she had chosen those over boots since they were easier to walk in.

Finny didn't really choose anything new, except for a belt to hold up his ripped pants. Other than that, he was shirtless, with only the belt and pants on, he did get some sandles, but that was only because Lucy forced him to.

"Well, thanks, I guess." Kayla said, she followed the others silently, watching as Lucy knocked on the clients door, and he looked at the group.

"You must be the group of FairyTail wizards."

"Yes sir!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Well, come inside then, I'll explain everything."

This is going to be an interesting story. I have plans for the future chapters.

Also, for the next few chapters I'll be posting what each of them look like. Since I'm better at showing then telling as you all probably have guessed.
