The four stayed up talking until Kayla heard footsteps get closer to the door, and they looked over, seeing a young blue haired girl standing in the doorway, looking at the five, a small smile on her face.
"I'm so glad you're all awake!" She exclaimed.
The five didn't know what to say, instead they just stared at her.
"You can't just barge in like that without introducing yourself, child!" Another voice said, causing Kayla to look to the ground seeing a white cat in a dress.
"Oh, right." The girl started off awkwardly. "I'm Wendy."
Kayla glanced at the others, who were all looking at her. "I'm Kayla." She introduced.
"Valorie. Feel free to call me Voodoo." Voodoo told her.
"April. It's a pleasure."
"I'm Finnian. Please, call me Finny."
"And I'm Melody!" Melody exclaimed, grinning. "Great to meet you!"
While Wendy talked about them being in FairyTail, Kayla got a whiff of the girl, she smelled of air, along with a faint smell of dragon. Another Dragon Slayer she would have to conceal her scent from.
"I'm assume you're the one who healed us?" Kayla asked, her head tilted a bit. She assumed she was a Sky Dragon Slayer, she used to know someone with Sky magic, knowing that they were able to heal injuries, external and internal.
Wendy looked over at her, "How'd you guess?" She asked.
"Lucky guess." Kayla told her.
"Hey, Wendy! Mind if I come in?" A new voice, Natsu as Kayla recognized asked from just outside the door.
Wendy glanced at the five, who nodded, as if saying he could come in. "Come right on in, they're awake!" Wendy told him.
When the boy came in, Kayla perked up, feeling tense, due to the boy being a dragon slayer, but behind him there was a new girl, she had long scarlet hear and a harsh looking face, she smelled like metal and strawberries, along with having an air of authority.
"Hello, I'm Erza Scarlet." The girl introduced, her voice hard. "Am I right to assume you're all wizards?"
The five nodded, looking at her.
"If you don't mind, what type of magic do you use? And your names of course." Though the question was innocent, Kayla noticed that Erza had a hint of a cautious tone in her voice, she was suspicious, and she had the right to be. Five strangers, the same age as the rumored deadly Wizards from the Dark guild Death's Storm, it would cause some suspicion. Luckily the five knew what to say to convince her to trust them.
"My name's Kayla, I'm a lightning Mage." Kayla said, making sure her voice was convincing, it wasn't hard that hard for her.
"Name's Melody. I'm a Fire Mage." Melody said, grinning.
"Awesome!" Natsu exclaimed, fire engulfing his fist. "I have to try your fire out sometime!"
"Sure." Melody said, a grin on her face.
"My name is Valorie, I prefer Voodoo, and I use possession magic." Voodoo told them.
"Isn't that dark magic?" Natsu asked, curious, and a bit scared.
"I guess. It was just the magic I was born with." Voodoo said. "And besides, isn't it the user of the magic that determines if their magic is good or bad by the way they use it?"
"I guess so." Natsu said.
"I'm Finnian, call me Finny. And I use Transformation Magic."
"And I'm April, I use inprisonment magic."
"Isn't that the magic that Medusa is rumored to have?" Erza asked.
April looked up, "Yeah, but they can use stone, and stronger spells, I can barely succeed in using ice, and my spells are really sloppy!" April lied, though she managed to make her voice convincing.
That was the thing, being in a dark guild taught you how to lie. Not like they had lessons on it, but they all picked it up from others in the guild.
"Do you five have anywhere to go?" Erza asked, seeming to believe the five.
"Not really." Kayla replied, "But we can't stay here-"
"Of course you can!" Wendy interrupted, "Besides, you five aren't well enough to leave just yet."
Kayla looked at her, starting to get out of the bed. "We'll be fine." She said, looking back at her friends as they all got out of the beds. "We've faced worse."
The five walked to the door, only to find it blocked by Erza.
"You five are not leaving until you're better. Got it?" She said, sending a glare down at Kayla, who immediately took a step back, the image of her trainer flashing in front of her eyes.
"Of course." Kayla said quietly, earning a confused look from Natsu, and understanding looks from her friends.
"You've already scared them, Erza." Natsu stated, earning a glance from Erza
"Now, you five get back in bed. I'll bring some food, you must be starving." Erza said, ignoring Natsu.
Kayla nodded, walking back to her bed and sitting down on it, she waited until they left, then she got out of the bed.
"You heard what Erza said, Kayla." April said softly.
"Like hell I'm staying in bed." Kayla said. "Sure, I won't leave the room, but just spending time in bed just seems pointless."
April just looked at her, not bothering to say anything else.
Kayla just sat on the ground, stretching, since her muscles had gotten a little stiff from laying in bed for a few days, and soon Erza had come back in, holding a tray of food, she looked down at Kayla, sending a glare her way.
"I thought I told you to get back in bed." She said sternly.
Kayla stood up, her former fear of the scarlet haired women gone, and her gray eyes were level. "Sorry. I was a bit stiff." She said calmly, not talking back but making it certain that she wasn't one to be commanded easily. She may of had a little moment of weakness earlier, but that wasn't going to happen again.
"Fine, at least eat this." She handed Kayla a sandwich. "Sorry it's not elegant, but it was something I could make in such a short time."
"It's fine." Kayla said, grabbing one of them, watching as Erza handed the others out to her friends.
"You're lucky Natsu and the others found you when they did." Erza stated.
"What do you mean by that?" Kayla asked, taking a bite out of the sandwich.
"Those five mysterious people were about to take you somewhere. I'm not sure where."
"Somewhere awful most likely." Kayla said. She knew who they were, they weren't mysterious, and she knew where they would of taken her and the others.
"Who knows, it may of been the Fearsome Five." Natsu said, walking inside.
Melody tilted her head. "The Fearsome Five?" She asked, her ears perked.
"You're kidding. You've never heard of them?" Natsu asked. "They're only the most feared teenagers in a Dark guild! Almost everyone in Fiore knows them! The Fearsome Five of Death's Storm!"
Kayla suddenly understood. The Fearsome Five Of Death's Storm was right in that room. "Oh. I didn't know the five had an official title, or nickname..."
"Yeah. They're supposed to be mad strong." Natsu said. "But I think I can beat them easily!" He then looked at the group. "Why don't we fight when you're better?"
Kayla smiled, "Why wait?" She asked. "I can fight now."
"No way." Ezra said.
"You know. I got the feeling that you were a buzzkill." Kayla said, a deadpan expression on her face.
"Kayla. Please be careful." April warned.
"You know me." Kayla said, looking at April.
"That's why I'm worried." April whispered.
"There is no way I'm allowing you two to fight." Erza said, her voice stern.
"But Erza! It'll be fun!" Natsu pleaded.
"No, they're still recovering, I forbid you from fightning!"
Kayla looked at Erza, knowing there was no way she would be able to get out with her watching, so she just shrugged, turning around and walked back to her bed. "Fine. We'll fight later." She said calmly, she got back into the bed, resting her head on the pillow and staring blandly at the ceiling.
Suddenly there was a loud crash from somewhere outside, and Kayla heard Erza sigh. "What is it now?" She asked, walking out the door with Natsu and Wendy following her out.
When they were gone, Kayla didn't move, instead, she just raised her hand, watching as a cloud moved around it, looking out the window and seeing that the sun in the middle of the sky, it was only the afternoon, she sighed, closing her eyes and moving her arm to her forehead, causing the cloud to disappear. "What will happen next?" She asked herself quietly.
"What was that?" Melody asked.
"Nothing."
