Kayla woke up to loud yelling, she sat up quickly and looked around, seeing the source of the yelling.

"You had to go and wake me up, huh, Meat breath?" Voodoo growled.

"You didn't have to make me run away with your stupid spell, Puppet freak!" Exclaimed loudly.

"Oh yeah, furball?" Voodoo asked.

Kayla felt her laughter rising, and she ended up back on the floor, tears of laughter falling down her face.

"Will you two shut up?" April asked, a dark aura around her.

The two froze, immediately looking at her with terrified faces.

"You continue with that and you'll wake the whole guild." She growled.

"Well, you've already woken some of us up." A new voice said, causing the four to look at a tired Finny, placing his hand over his mouth as he yawned, looking out at the large hole of the entrance, seeing that the sun was already rising. "And it seems that there are others already awake."

Kayla looked out, seeing a couple people already walking around, moving stuff from the guild hall.

"Oh, hey, you're awake!" Someone said in a sleepy voice, causing the five to look over at a girl.

She had long silver hair and dark red eyes With dark circles under them, as if she hasn't had a wink of sleep for years. Her outfit was simple, a black cropped shirt with white stripes. The beginning of the sleeves started from just below her shoulders, going down to a couple inches above her elbows. Underneath the shirt, she had a black skin tight cropped tank top. She wore plain black sweatpants, with white markings.

"I'm Urata. It's nice to meet you. And don't worry about introducing yourselves, I already know who you are." She looked at Kayla. "Oh, The Master wants you. He's right outside."

Kayla looked out and saw him, she stood up and streatched. "Okay."

"What should we do?" Finny asked.

"Continue with cleaning out." Urata said.

The others nodded, and they all moved to separate spots, looking for things they could grab. Kayla, on the other hand, walked over to the blasted open entrance, over to where Tsutsui was standing.

"You wanted me?" She asked.

He looked at her, "Yeah, follow me." The two walked into the guild hall and down one of the halls, stopping in front of a door.

"This was your parents room. We want to see if there's anything we could use in the new guild hall, but there's been a spell placed on the door, shocks anyone who tries to get in."

"And you were thinking I could try." Kayla finished. She reached for the door handle, she felt a small shock, but it wasn't bad, due to her body absorbing most of it. She twisted the door handle and heard a click, and pushed, letting the door swing open, a small ray of light filling the room.

"Wow." Kayla whispered, stepping in. There was a dull scent of dust. She found the light switch and turned on the lights, looking around.

There was a king sized bed in the middle of the room, a desk to the left of the bed with papers all over it, to the right of the bed there was a giant bookshelf, filled with tons of dusty old books. Kayla walked over to the bookshelf.

"All of these are spell books" She whispered. "Types of Dark Magic, Forbidden Spells, What's known about Dragon Slayers." She looked up at Tsutsui, "All of these are forbidden spell books, or ones that I've never seen." She said. Then she let out a small laugh. "What should I expect?" She asked, "This is father's room."

"It was also your mothers." Tsutsui said.

"I doubt father kept any of my mother's stuff." Kayla muttered darkly as she pulled out a book, a letter falling out. She looked at it with a deadpan face. "I have a feeling this is going to become a major cliche." She grabbed the note and opened it, seeing a full page of delicately written words.

Dear Kayla,

If you're reading this, that must mean that Death's Storm has finally ended. And for that, I am greatful. And this must mean your father is either dead, or gone, so that means you can now know what I most likely took to the grave.

When you were a young child, I went out into the forest looking for you, unaware of your father's plans. While there, I met with the dragon that was raising you. Of course, I didn't know it was her at the moment due to her being in her human form, she was surprised to see me, stating that I had a familiar scent to you. To be completely honest with you, I was quite surprised when she said that. When I explained I was looking for my daughter, she understood, even if I didn't at that moment. She told me that she had you, and I had never been so happy in my life, I asked if I could see you, but she told me I couldn't. If you did, you wouldn't want to stay with her. At first I thought she was being selfish, and I got angry. I yelled at her, she stayed calm and waited for me to finish. When I did, she explained that she was training you in the ways of a storm dragon slayer, she already saw the potential in you, and it helped that you were born with lightning magic. Then I understood. If I took you home with me now, you wouldn't be able to live up to your full potential, so, we agreed that the two of us would meet in the forest every other week at the same spot we met.

"Mom knew Eria?" Kayla whispered, her eyes watering, she took a deep breath and continued reading.

The most recent meeting, she gave me a book, it contained all the spells you had already learned, plus, some you haven't. I managed to sneak it in using my illusion magic.

"Mom knew illusion magic?" Kayla asked, she looked over at Tsutsui, "Did you know?"

He nodded. "I was one of the few that knew. Everyone else thought she didn't have any magic, she hid her magical presence well, most likely made the illusion of it not being there to certain people."

Kayla looked at him, then back at the letter.

Of course, you didn't know I had illusion magic, though maybe you have it too, I doubt it since you inherited your father's lightning magic. I'm getting off track. I want you to have the spell book, it's in this shelf that you found this note in. I trust that you'll be able to find it. I don't want to go into too much detail, in case your father finds this note before you.

I love you,
Your mother, Naylee Gale.

By the end of the letter, Kayla felt a couple tears fall from her eyes . She wiped them away and looked at the bookshelf. "She trusts that I'll be able to find it." She whispered to herself, holding the letter tightly in her hand. She scanned the bookshelf, her eyes landing on a worn down notebook, she grabbed it, and pulled it off from the bookshelf, looking at it.

There was nothing special about it. It was just a worn down leather-bound notebook, and when she opened it, there was a very familiar writing inside.

To: Kayla
From: Eria.

Kayla flipped through the pages, seeing names of familiar spells at the beginning, but as she got deeper, names of spells she didn't recognize started appearing. After a minute or two of looking, she closed the book and kept it with her.

"We could use these books in the new guild hall. Of course, we shouldn't let the dark magic ones be open to the public, but there are some here that we could use."

Tsutsui nodded, "I'll get some people to do that."

"Great." Kayla said. "Anyways, we should get going to the village, the mayor will most likely be expecting us soon."

Tsutsui nodded, "Go back with the others, I need to get some things together, then we'll leave."

Kayla nodded, and the two walked back to the entrance, where most of the guild was now awake and ready to move, joking around with each other and talking.

"Hey guys!" Kayla said, running up to the others.

"Hey Kayla!" Finny exclaimed, he noticed the book in Kayla's hand, "What's that?" He asked.

"A gift from Eria, and mother." She said warmly. "It's a book of spells I can learn!" She exclaimed, "There are so many I've never heard of! Even some forgotten spells!" She said excitedly.

Melody went up to her, "Aw man, that's awesome!" She exclaimed, her eyes sparkling. "Now you'll be stronger than ever!"

Kayla chucked, "I still have to learn how to do the spells. It's not like I can master them right after I just found out about them. It'll take some time."

"Well, I know that, I was just thinking towards the future." Melody said.

"Sure you were, Fuzz Brain." Voodoo muttered.

"What was that, girly?" Melody asked, turning on Voodoo.

"You heard me." Voodoo growled.

Kayla chuckled. "You two better calm down. You should save your energy for working on the new guild hall."

The two looked at Kayla, then they both sighed, "Guess you're right." They muttered at the same time. Then they looked at each other, sending glares each other's way. Kayla giggled a bit, while April walked up to them, sending a glare to the two, getting them to immediately stop.

"Alright everyone!" Tsutsui exclaimed, catching the attention of everyone. "We'll be heading to the village now, make sure you have all your belongings you want to bring along, we won't be getting back here for a while." He walked towards the forest. "Let's get going."

"Right!" The guild exclaimed, and started to follow Tsutsui.

When they got to the village, Kayla saw a group of men standing in the middle, the mayor with them, as the guild got closer the men looked up, staring at the group of Wizards, the mayor looked up them, and walked up to Tsutsui, now that he was standing, Kayla noticed how tall he was now.

He seemed to be just an inch taller than Tsutsui, which would mean he was about a foot taller than Kayla.

"The guild can be built right here." the Mayor said.

Kayla looked around, they were right in the middle of the village.

"Are you sure that's okay? The guild will be the centerpiece, so to speak, for The Village of Storms." Taki stated.

"That's what we're hoping for." The mayor told them. "If the village has a guild, then we might get more visitors, and it will get many more tourists!" He seemed excited. His daughter was next to him, celebrating.

After they finished, they faced the guild again. "Now, I'll leave you all to work, there are supplies right over there, and if you need anything more, just ask, and I'll be happy to provide."

"Thank you, you've been very kind to us." Tsutsui said, "I don't know how we can ever repay you."

"Just make sure this guild of yours becomes well known." The mayor said as he walked away.

"It may take a while, but it will happen!" Kayla exclaimed, now standing next to Tsutsui.

After the Mayor and his daughter walked away, everyone started on the guild hall, a feeling of peace and happiness drifting around the group.

"I'll be heading off to the magic council." Tsutsui announced. "When I get beds, I hope to bring good news."

"Yeah!" The guild cheered.

"While you're gone, we'll continue the guild." Taki said, "I'll make sure everyone's working, so don't worry about any slackers."

Tsutsui chuckled. "I won't. Not when you;re in charge." He smiled and started to walk towards the train station, ready to make the guild a reality.
