(Kat's POV)

I walked, well I had stretchers helping me. I got breakfast in the main hall. A nurse handed me my food. Ghost came in. He sat across from me.

Ghost: Sorry about your leg.
Me: It's not your fault.
Ghost: I just can't believe you showed your powers.
Me: Welp, I felt like Origin was going to kill me, so I wanted to put up a fight.
Ghost: Well, I'm glad that you only got minor injuries.

Origin walked in. He went to the assistant's desk. I assumed that he wanted to visit a family member in the hospital. He walked over to us.

Origin: Kat I'm sorry about what happened earlier. The thing with Alex really put me off course and I didn't focus. Sorry about everything.
Me: It's ok. I've been through worse.
Ghost: How so?
Me: You try escaping the Diamonds when they want to smother you with love 24/7.
Ghost: Really?
Me: Since Steven isn't really on Homeworld as much as me, they consider me their niece. Man, is it hard.
Origin: Oh. So how are the Diamonds?
Me: Huh?
Origin: Like what are they like?
Me: Well Yellow wants me to train hard to be a fierce warrior. Blue treats me like an aunt. She always wants to spoil me. White treats me like a rarity. She's also kind around me. I think she thinks I'm Pink. Once she called me 'Starlight'.
Ghost: Maybe we could visit.
Me: Yeah. My mom and I planned a visit this weekend. Which is tomorrow. I'm already ready to leave.
Origin: Could I come with? Just to meet people with unique powers.
Me: Sure.

A nurse said that I needed to get back to my room. Something about my leg being treated. I walked over. Ghost followed me. I just took a nap cause I was tired. I woke up to my mom talking to a nurse.

My mom: So she'll have to leave.
Nurse: I get it. Please tell me how it goes.
My mom: I will.

*time skip*

Me, Ghost and Origin went to Homeworld. Pink Pearl escorted Origin and Ghost to my room. Yellow Pearl took me to Yellow Diamond's room.

YellowD: Kat, good to see you again.
Me: Nice to see you too.
YellowD: I hope that your new school isn't giving you trouble.
Me: It's ok.

Just then the diamond chime rang. An Agate walked in.

Agate: My Luminous Diamond, your presence is requested at planet 5g8l At facet 2s0k.
YellowD: Hmm, have the Coral gems still not emerged? Better check it out. Kat, go to Blue's room.
Me: Ok.

I walked over to Blue's room. The hallways always seemed to amuse me. I got Blue's room. She invited me for a swing. I jumped in wearing my shorts and T-shirt.

Blue: I've heard you made a friend, am I correct?
Me: Yes.
Blue: I'm glad. Hope things go well.
Me: Me too.

I walked over to my room. Origin, I think, was talking to White. Me and Ghost got to talk about gem stuff.
