(Kat's POV)

I dreaded going to school. People were allowed to go back. I heard yelling. It was Ghost. He was yelling at Origin. Ugh, just great. I'm going to class

*time skip*

I was pushed outside. It looks like me and Origin are going to have to fight. I tried throwing punches, but he easily doges them. I then started to kick, but that did nothing. He punched me and kicked my legs. Well, from what I know he's probably going to kill me. Welp, I'm not going down without a fight! I summoned my shield. Everyone gasped. I then summoned my sword. I ran towards Origin. I feel slashed and he fell to his knees. He had a few scratches on his face and the slashes on his arms showed.

Origin: How could someone like you defeat me?
Me: I had training.

Origin then blasted me with some weird power. I blacked out.

(Ghost's POV)

Origin knocked out Kat. I rushed over to her. She had a lot of bruises and there was a cut on her arm. It was bleeding. Hypno came over to me.

Hypno: Light called an ambulance. They should be here soon.

I held onto Kat. A few minutes and the ambulance arrived.

Doctor: Sir, please let go so we could get her healed.
Me: Can we come with you?
Doctor: Are you family?
Me: No, friends.
Doctor: Good enough.

Me, Hypno, Light, and Silver rose with her. We were worried. Origin never used that strong of energy. We arrived at the hospital. She was taken to the ER. We waited for what seemed like hours. A nurse came over to us.

Nurse: She has a broken leg and bruised arm. Otherwise, just minor bruises and a small scar on her arm. It should heal and not be noticeable.
Silver: Thanks.
Nurse: You can visit. Her mom is in her room.

We walked to where her room was. Her mom was there. We talked.

Kat's mom: I'm glad she has friends here.
Me: I'm glad she's here with us.
Kat's mom: We we're one of the families who escaped. Her father will be here soon. He's a great man. Would've helped her through hard times.
Me: Well, he's going to be here soon, right?
Kat's mom: Yeah. We worked things out.
Hypno: I'm sure he's a great man.
Kat's mom: He is.
