Amy's  POV
~Flashback~

I giggled in delight as I waited for my cookie.

Then, after 5 minutes...

"Here...", Shadow hands me it and I gobble it down right in front of him.

"Wow, Amy. Even when you eat a huge cookie whole, you're still cute. Why?", he asked laughing.

"Hey, girls are cute 24/7. That means that we are cute all day long and can charm guys to give us what we want.", I put my hands on my hips.

"Are you going to be like that?", he raised an eyebrow.

"Well, duh! I'm a girl after all! I have to be cute everyday! Besides, no one can resist a cute girl!", I huffed.

"You've got that right...", he said dreamily, looking at me.

"Huh?", I looked at him weirdly.

He started blushing like crazy...

"I-I mean... Y-yeah... you're r-right! N-no one can resist cute girls!", he stammered.

I still looked at him. It was very confusing...

"C-Come on, Rose! L-let's go to the rides!", he pulls my arm and leads me away from the stand.

"What is wrong with him? Maybe, it's because of the heat? Yeah, that must be it, right? Or is it something else?", I thought as I felt his sweaty hand.

I decided to ignore the thought and continued being dragged by him.

Seconds later, he spots a Ferris wheel and runs in front of a line of people.

"Shadow?! How dare you?! These people probably waited for so many hours and you just cut in front of them!", I glared at him.

"Relax, Miss. You can get in front of us. You guys are a cute couple after all.", one of them said.

Then one by one, they move aside to make pathway for the both us and I started blushing because I didn't know what to think about what just happened.

"Thanks...", Shadow smirked at the girls that were fangirling.

"Have fun with your girl, man", another one said nudging his shoulder. He then made a kissy face to us making me blush harder.

Shadow did a small scowl and starts leading me to the Ferris wheel.

"Cute couple alert!", a siren said as a light fell on us and more people started gushing and cooing at us as we passed by. Some of them even pulled us away and asked what our secrets are in getting a guy/girl were. I didn't say anything and didn't move. I was so embarrassed that all I did was say, "I-I u-umm..."

He noticed and quickly carried me to the Ferris wheel with people running after us. Then, he climbed in with me and we took our seats. He pulls the lever on the side of ride and we start leaving the crazy people behind.

"Whew... finally lost them...", he sighs in relief looking back at the fading view of craziness.

"Are you okay, Rose?", he looks back at me with his deep crimson eyes.

"I'm fine...", I turned away from him in embarrassment. "I'm just a bit overwhelmed of what just happened..."

"About the whole cute couple situation?", he asked.

"Yeah, I mean... those people actually thought we were dating. It not only made me uncomfortable, but to you as well. I'm sorry... Shadow...", I sighed.

"For what?", he asked.

"For bringing you in this mess. If I didn't accept the 60th date I had with Sonic, none of this would've ever happened.", tears start to form in my eyes as my voice started breaking.

"Hey... it's okay. It's not your fault... I'm actually glad that I'm involved in this.." , he grabs me by the waist and pulls me into his arms.

"Really?", a tear falls out my eye once he said that.

"Yeah, cuz then you'd be eating 1000 tubs of ice cream and then become sick afterwards because of your sorrow.", he joked.

"W-what?! Shadow?! That's not funny!", I started to glare to at him.

"So, it's true then...", he trailed off whistling.

"Of course! I am a girl after all! We pretty much eat ice cream when we're upset!", I cross my arms.

"Even if it means you get sick to the stomach afterwards, you still eat it?"

"Yes!"

"Why?"

"Because then everyone in Möbius could have their dream come true! Making 'Amy Rose' more humiliated by lying more about the princess' weeping and making sure that's she stays alone for the rest of her life eating ice cream in a cardboard box and then die of fatness!", tears start falling out of my eyes as I screamed.

"Not everyone wants that though. Rouge and the rest of the freedom fighters always worry about you and care about you as well as I.", he turns my face softly towards his.

"Y-you do?", I did a small sniffle as I gazed into his eyes.

"Yeah, I really care about you. Every time that you are sad, you barely come outside and barely eat anything but ice cream. You mope around for that blue faker and run to him the next day for another date. I'm worried that one day, you'll think about doing something drastic to yourself and never return alive.", he pulls a strand of my hair out of my face.

"Don't worry... that will never happen. I would never do something that would threaten my health.", I smile through my tears.

"I know you won't ... though I do have a suggestion to offer. You've been tortured and humiliated for a very long time.... and well... I think that maybe you should come with me."

"Come with you?"

"Yes, I have a mission to do in a few days and I'm leaving Möbius. My bags are already packed and I was thinking about going by myself, but after seeing all heartache you've been through, I want you there with me."

"You want me to leave Möbius with you?", I asked.

"Yeah... it's just... I want to make sure that no one would hurt you ever again. I want you smile by my side and never once shed a tear for that faker.", he caresses my cheek and takes my hands in his.

I blushed a bit and kept looking at him with more tears in my eyes.

"He doesn't know what's he missing out on and after 60 chances, he has already lost the most beautiful creature that has existed in Möbius. She's pretty as a rose and only has true beauty coming from her heart and soul. She's also very kind to others and would put them first because she cares about their well being. Her eyes shine like a green chaos emerald and has very soft hair. Overall, she is the most beautiful girl that I have ever met.", he wiped my tears away.

"S-Shadow-kun...", I lean my face closer to his and then...

~End of Flashback~

"You kissed?!", Rouge and Blaze asked as I kept blushing at the memory.

"Yeah..."

Rouge started squealing while Blaze stayed surprised and looked me with wide eyes.

"But what about Sonic? Didn't you say that you love him?"

"I do love him. Which is why I declined the offer and pushed him away."

"What?! Why?!", Rouge whined.

"I-it just felt wrong to kiss a guy that I didn't like."

"Okay, so if you don't like him... why did you kiss him.."

"I don't know... Shadow just sounded like Sonic before Sally corrupted him. He was very caring, understanding, and treated me like a true gentleman.", I blushed a bit.

"So, he reminds you of Sonic?. "That's the reason why you kissed him?", she asked.

"His words were so touching and it made me feel special that a guy cared for me like that."

Uh huh... Sure...", she smirked.

"I'm being serious! No one has ever cared for me like that since Sonikku! That's why I pushed Shadow away after the kiss!"

"So, it was because of Blue boy?"

"Yes... b-but it wasn't just for Sonic. It was for all of you. Especially the two girls that have stayed by side since I was 12 years old. I'm sorry, but I didn't know if you'd approve. I know Blaze would, but not you. You won't let me out of your sight."

"Well if you did decide to go with Shadow, I would have supported you all the way. However, now I refuse to let you leave Möbius alone or with a stranger."

"Seriously? Why didn't you tell me before that Shadow liked me?"

"He didn't want to make you feel uncomfortable. So, he keeps his feelings closed in when you're around and treats you like all the others. Maybe a bit nicer, than the others because let's face it... he's a grump."

"It's true, he only treats you nicely and smiles. While he's dark and serious with us.", Blaze added. "You're the light that turns him on."

"Wow... I never noticed it before. Does everyone else know?", I put my hand on my mouth in surprise.

"All of them know except for Blueberry and Miss Prissy Diva."

"Speaking of her, I think I'm going to barf.", Rouge gagged.

"Why?"

"Cuz, all these horrible voices are making me dizzy. They don't know how to sing and sound like Sally. Why don't you show them how to do it?", she turns to me.

"What, But I don't know how to sing!", I said surprised.

"Oh really? I've heard you sing in your room whenever Sonic stands you up on a date. You have a really good singing voice."

"I do?"

"Yes"

"Thanks... I hope this will help me feel better.", I started to worry.

"Don't worry after this, Sonic won't touch or talk to you ever again. You'll feel like a new woman and get another man to your feet. Maybe even more... I'll help you and so will Blaze."

I looked down once she said that and started blushing when she mentioned his name. She notices and frowns asking, "You're not thinking of having another date with him are you?"

"Umm... well...", I laughed nervously.

"Amy? Oh please, tell me that you're not trying for number 61.", she groaned.

"Yes... I know that he feels sorry for blaming me and wants to make it up to me. I'll give him another shot."

"What if you get heartbroken again? You already know that he skips all your dates to be with Sally."

"Maybe it will be different... He might pick me up by my house and take me to somewhere special where we kiss underneath the stars."

"Ugh...", Rouge rolls her eyes. "Do you seriously believe that he'll be different in the next 5 days."

"5 days?"

"Yeah... wait you haven't read the note yet haven't you.

"No, I haven't because I don't what to do? Should I trust him or not? Who knows whatever he wrote is true or not."

"Well you should read it, then you'll know what choice to make about him."

"A choice to determine if you choose to stay here or leave from here."

"What? I thought that you were against the thought of me actually moving away."

"I am, but if you aren't happy here then you go somewhere else. I don't want you to suffer ever again and I will support you just like Blaze. Even if I refuse to let you go, your happiness matters."

"I don't know what to say..."

"You don't have to say anything. You have so much time to make a decision. All you need to do now is to actually start putting that beautiful voice to use before my ears fall off."

"Okay... I'll do it, but only because my ears also hurt from the Sally singers."

"Great! Here!", she hands a songbook to me.

I look at and I couldn't believe my eyes. There in front me was my songbook.

"You stole my songbook?!", I opened it, making sure there was wasn't any rips or tears on it. Thankfully there wasn't. Whew!

"No. You left it on your dresser open. I was cleaning up your room on the day you wanted to be left alone. I accidentally looked at it and I'm glad that I did. These songs are so amazing, but the one I picked out is on page 4.", she grabs it from me and flips through the pages until she finds a page with hearts and roses on it. Then, she hands it over to me and smirks.

"What? No, it's not ready yet. Well it's finished... yes, but I haven't finished putting the harmonies in."

"I know... which is why you're going to have some help."

"What type of help are you taking about?"

"Harmonic help. You're going to sing that song with it. I actually asked if you can sing before making the reservation here."

"Wait... You mean, they have my song?! Did you give it to them?! You did?! Didn't you?!"

"Relax. At least you can stop worrying about finishing it."

"Yeah, but if it sounds wrong?"

"I'm pretty sure that it won't sound bad. Besides, they showed me a preview of it. I think you're going to like it."

A musician walked over to us and told us, "We're ready for you, Miss Rose."

I look at Rouge and she whispered smiling, "You've got this! This is your shining moment! Take it!"

I started walking away from the table and follow the musician to the stage. I look at my two best friends as they smiled at me. I take a deep breath and let the music take over me as I start to sing.

I hear cheers of applause as everyone inside started clapping for me. I blushed as I went down the steps of the stage and met Rouge and Blaze there.

"I knew you could do it!", Rouge squealed as she hugged me tightly.

"Did I do okay?", I giggled looking at Blaze.

"Okay? You did better than okay! You actually blew those horrible singers away. That was so amazing!", she started squealing too and I laughed at the both of them as they kept being surprised and excited of my singing.

"I agree!", a white hedgehog said as he came to us. "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Silver the hedgehog and I've been all around Möbius looking for someone who could have potential in becoming famous. At first, I was skeptical because everyone that went up so far sounded like dying cats. Then, you went on that stage and sounded like a angel. I was so amazed that I immediately wanted to meet you. May I ask what your name is?"

"I'm Amy Rose, but everyone calls me Amy. These two right next to me are Rouge and Blaze."

"Hello, darling", she winked, making him feel uncomfortable.

"It's okay. She always calls everyone that. It's nice to meet you.", Blaze said.

"The pleasure is all mine", he said making her blush.

"Rouge and I giggled at them and the both of them blushed looking at us.

"What? There's nothing happening between us.", she said frantically.

"Sure... there isn't...", we both smirked at her.

She blushes even harder, "There isn't! Besides he wants to ask you something!"

"Okay, what is it?", I asked.

"Ahem... Do you want to come with me and be adored by so many people around the world.", he cleared his throat as he was still red.

"What? You mean leave Möbius?!"

"Yes. But, I see that this is surprising to you.", he hands me a card. "You don't have to take it now. I will allow you to decide whether or not to take it. When you do decide to take it, call me and I'll make the arrangements."

"Thank you. I will...", I said as he walks back to the screaming crowd.

Once he was gone, I smirked at Blaze saying, "Sooo... what did you think about him. Is he cute?"

She looks away blushing in embarrassment without saying a word.

"Yep, she likes him... Rouge and I smirked.
