A Case Long Forgotten

Arthur Kirkland and his squad were closing in on the culprits that were at large. Arthur sighed as he remembered the events leading up to this point. A woman had sold her son to a man for enough money to get the drugs and booze she had wanted. According to her, the kid was a nuisance. Only a year or so old and wouldn't stop crying and screaming and making messes in its corner. When asked how she treated the screaming baby, she stated that she would smack it. One day a man came. He had wanted a kid and she didn't want hers. The man offered her a lot of money. How could she have possibly refused? Needless to say, she was behind bars now. The child had no family because his father had been a Canadian soldier who had died over seas. The file on the family had no last name. The case had been cold for so long. Two years without any clues. The case had been forgotten. The child declared missing. An anonymous tip came in right as the case was going to be closed forever. Someone had hacked into the server and left the tip.
'Child with sky blue eyes, missing for two years, seen in building with man. Check deposited half hour ago. Small cabin in woods. Drug bust happened six years ago at that cabin. Boss is back and not happy. Child is not safe. Coordinates will be given in thirty minutes. Might also want to better encrypt your files. ~Japan '
It was a weird tip but everyone suited up. They knew of this place and they knew it was dangerous. Finally the coordinates arrived and Arthur and his squad headed into the woods. Maybe they would finally bust the cartel and solve a two year old case. A stick snapped, bringing Arthur into the present. Gilbert nodded towards the door. They could hear a voice with a Spanish accent yelling at something, followed by a strange silence. The squad worked their way around the cabin, surrounding it but staying unseen. The voice was clearer know. "You live to please me, you useless piece of trash! I spent good money to buy you and all you have done is cause me misery!" The voice hollered. With a final nod and a sense of urgency, the squad moved forward and started to open the door silently.
