Lucy's pov: I woke up at the sound of my alarm clock, it was 6:30am and it was still dark outside as I opened my curtain got dressed and I realize that today was the first day of school as a senior I'm really happy, Lucy? my mother called me as I pick up my backpack and jacket from my closet, yes mom I said as I went downstairs with my backpack and jacket on my shoulder, morning mom I said as I sat at the table eating breakfast, morning Lucy I see you're up early this morning what's the rush she asked me as I was half way finish eating, today is the first day of school mom did you forgot about that I said as I looked at her, no Lucy I didn't forget about your first day of school, here is your lunch and there's the bus have a good day Lucy!! mom said as I hugged her bye mom I love you I said as I ran out the door to the bus stop, I got on the bus and looked at everyone, they seem to be seniors also, Lucy!! Molly called me she and I were good friends when we met during our freshmen year as 9th graders, hey Molly I said as I sat beside her, how was your summer break she asked me, my summer break was awesome! What about you Molly ? My summer break was great she said, the bus stopped at our school Golden Forest High School we both got off the bus and went inside to find our classes, after school was over we said bye to each other who is picking you up today Molly? I asked her, my mother is picking me up today she said, what about you Lucy? She ask me, my sister Beneatha is taking me home today I said, we hugged each other, Lucy come on mom wants you home right now!!! I heard my sister Beneatha pulled up in her car, I got in her car buckled up and sat there being quiet the whole time thinking why does she always have to be so mean to me? We pull up to my house I got out, ran to my room and shut the door behind me I had the best day ever today hoping tomorrow will be better I went to bed early at 8:00pm I was tired so I went to sleep.
