The first Hogsmeade trip was today, and even though I was excited, I felt horrible for Harry. He never got his permission slip signed, meaning he most likely couldn't go unless he found some way to convince McGonagall.
I was standing there, contemplating on wether I should hand in my permission slip or not. I can't leave Harry here alone, and another trip will come soon. I shoved my permission slip back in my pocket, smiling softly to myself, Harry was stressing a lot of the time so it would be nice to get him to relax a little.
The weather was grey and dull but it gave off a nice and calming feeling, the weather was cold enough to wear a jumper but not cold enough to wear a heavy wool jacket. The wind softly whistled by my ear before it traveled in another direction.
The weather wasn't perfect but then again, what is?
I watched as children rushed to hand in their permission slips to Filch, McGonagall standing next to him, telling everyone how to behave and the consequences if they didn't behave. Harry ran up to the Professor, about to ask something.
"No permission form signed, no visiting the village. That's the rule." She said sternly, before Harry could even speak.
"All those with permission follow me, those without stay put." Filch announced, walking towards the gates, McGonagall following alongside him.
Harry ran after her urgently, "but Professor, I thought if you signed it then I could go-"
"-I can't, only a parent or a guardian can sign, since I am neither, it would be inappropriate." She cut him off, "I'm sorry Potter, that's my final word." She walked off.
Harry sighed in defeat, he looked over at where Hermione, Ron and I were standing. "Forget about it guys, see you later." He said, turning around and walking away.
Hermione and Ron walked away to catch up with the others, while I stayed put.
"Aren't you coming (Y/N)?" Hermione asked.
"No, I think I'll stay with Harry. Have fun!" I smiled softly waving goodbye to them. I ran in the direction Harry went, jumping on his back once I saw him, laughing slightly. "Didn't think you could get rid of me that easily could you Potter?"
He laughed softly, holding securely on my legs so I wouldn't fall. "You shouldn't have stayed, you would have had more fun if you went."
"That is where you are wrong," I grinned, tapping the tip of his nose for every word. He shook his head in displeasure, making me chuckle. "You see Harry, I'm one of the few people who creates fun here at Hogwarts."
"You have a group for pranksters." He laughed.
"Shut up, I'm proud."
"What rank are you in this group of people?" He asked, trying to find something to make fun of.
"Well we rank it as who is best at doing pranks, so obviously Fred and George are on top, then me and Lee are tied, since we work as a team a lot. And no one cares about the others."
I jumped off of his back, and walked so I was facing him.
"My goal isn't to prank or hurt people, it's just to have fun and live in the moment. And since you've been such a downer recently, I am going to lift that frown into a wonky smile."
He rolled his eyes, grinning. I grabbed his hand and started running towards the dungeon.
"Where are we going?" Harry asked, I could tell he was excited.
"You'll see." I smirked, then stopped running. I saw Peeves floating by, whistling to himself. I turned to Harry and pushed him against the wall. "Stay here, Peeves doesn't seem to like you very much."
He nodded, looking extremely flustered, that's when I noticed that I just slammed him against a wall and that it most likely freaked him out. I moved away and walked over to Peeves.
"Ahh, (Y/N), what do I owe this pleasure?" Peeves sang.
Peeves and I have a weird relationship, he caught me crying one day in my first year and made me feel better, from that day onward he has been willing to hear me out and help me with my pranks.
"I was wondering if you could help me prank someone..."
"Who?!" He asked energetically.
"A Professor..."
"Which one!"
"Professor Snape."
"Ohhh yes, I may be willing to help you out with the prank, but what's in it for me?"
"I'll let you prank, make fun of and annoy me for the next week."
"No, for the next month."
"2 weeks."
"Deal."
When I turned back to Harry, he seemed to have a surprised look on his face.
"How?" Is all he said.
"How what?"
"I don't even know." He sighed, chuckling. I grabbed his wrist pulling him to the dungeons. "We better not get caught."
"We won't."
"If you say so." He shrugged.
"Peeves I want you to drop this in Snape's potion," I said, handing him a purple pastille. Peeves nodded and flew away. I handed Harry a dungbomb that I charmed and held two for myself to throw.
I've been planning this prank for a month or two, I realised every Saturday Professor Snape makes a potion around this time of the day. I've been carrying the things I needed for the prank in my pocket for a while, so why not do the prank today. We made it outside the potions classroom, I stuck my head around the doorway, the gap in the door making it easy to look inside. Snape stood there, his potion right in front of him. I saw Peeves poke his head out from the ceiling and hold a thumbs up, I nodded.
The pastille dropped into the potion, making a splash sound, then it exploded, purple dust everywhere. I signalled for Harry to throw the dungbombs into the room, it's smelt horrible.
I grabbed Harry's hand once again, bringing him behind a corner. Snape stepped out of the room, skin purple, hair pink and robes bright yellow. I held a hand to my mouth to stiffer my laughter.
"PEEVES!" He yelled, his voice coming out all squeaky and high pitched.
Harry and I ran away laughing. We ran until we were near the edge of the Black Lake. We both hunched over panting from running, but panting quickly turned into fits of laughter.
Mission accomplished, I thought to myself. Once we calmed down a little we sat down near the edge of the lake.
"How'd you do it?" Harry asked.
I smirked, "a good prankster never reveals how they planned their prank."
"Please tell me." He said, giving me puppy dog eyes. "Pretty please."
"Hmmm, ummmm no."
"I guess I'll just tickle the answer out of you." He smirked smugly.
"No!"
But it was too late, he jumped on me, tickling me like crazy. I was laughing so much it hurt, Harry was laughing too but for other reasons.
Someone cleared their throat loudly, making Harry and I look up. There stood Professor Lupin, he seemed to be smiling. Harry quickly jumped off me and I sat up.
"Sorry for disturbing you, but I would like to talk to Harry really quickly." He said, I looked at Harry and he nodded, showing me it was fine.
"Of course Professor." I smiled at him, Harry and Professor Lupin walked away.
I sat alone for a while, staring at the lake in front of me until I felt someone sit next to me. I turned my head to see Blaise Zabini. I didn't know Blaise well but he seemed like a nice person, he never really talked to the Gryffindor's but then again, not many Slytherin's do.
"Hey (Y/N)," he said, his voice soft and calming.
"Hey Blaise." We sat there for a bit in awkward silence, until he broke it.
"I know that it's strange for me to talk to you all of a sudden, but I get a bit lonely sometimes and I was wondering if we could hang out, or something like that." He said, not taking his eyes off the lake. "Draco and his gang can be a bit too much to handle sometimes, Pansy's nice but she's caught up in the bullying and I don't like bullying people so..." He trailed off.
"Of course Blaise, you can always talk to me." I smiled softly. A small smile formed on his lips, and yet he didn't take his eyes off the lake, it was almost as if he was scared to look into my eyes.

(Y/N), Harry, Ron and Hermione were all walking up the grand staircase, on their way back to the common room. Ron was droning on about Honeydukes sweet shop and Zonko's joke shop.
"-we never did get a chance to go to the shrieking shack though, you heard that it's the most-" Ron continued.
"-the most haunted building in Britain." Harry and (Y/N) finished for him. "Yeah, we know."
"What's going on?" Harry asked , noticing a large group of people outside the Gryffindor common room.
"Probably Neville's forgotten the password again." Ron replied.
"Hey!" Neville said, slightly hurt.
"Ron! Neville's right there." (Y/N) said annoyed, pointing to Neville, standing lower on the staircase. She knew Ron and Neville were actually quite close but sometimes Ron said insensitive comments towards Neville.
"Oh, your right there." Ron said, turning around to see Neville and Dean.
"Uh let me through please! Excuse me, I'm head boy! Get back all of you! No one is to enter this dormitory until it has been fully searched." Percy ordered from somewhere in the crowd.
"The Fat lady she's gone!" Ginny exclaimed, rushing over to them.
"Serves her right, she was a terrible singer." Ron stated, (Y/N) laughed at his comment, making him chuckle.
"It's not funny you two!" Hermione scolded. The paintings were going crazy and making way too much noise.
"Be quite! The headmaster's here." Percy shouted.
"Make way, move!" Dumbledore shouted at the students blocking the way.
"You heard him, move!" Percy yelled again.
When Dumbledore and Filch finally made it to the front, they examined the Fat lady's portrait closely, it had huge scratch marks on it. It looked as if a Wolf scratched the painting in half.
"Mr Filch, round up the ghosts. Tell them to search every painting in the castle to find the Fat Lady." Dumbledore ordered.
"There's no need for ghosts Professor, the Fat lady's there." Filch said, pointing to the painting she was hiding in. Everyone gasped and started pushing to get to where she was.
"Hey! Mind where you going! Slow down! You listen to me, I'm head boy!" Percy bellowed.
The quartet (Harry, (Y/N), Ron and Hermione), Dumbledore and Filch all reached the painting the Fat lady was in, she was hiding behind a hippo.
"Dear lady, who did this to you?" Dumbledore asked her.
She whimpered, "eyes like the devil, he's got. It's him headmaster, the one they all talk about. He's here, somewhere in the castle, Sirius Black!" She screamed in fear.
"Secure the castle Mr Filch. The rest of you to the Great Hall!" Dumbledore ordered everyone.
In the distance, (Y/N) could hear a wolf howl in pain, she wondered what it was, she had never heard of wolves in the Forbidden forest so it was strange. That's when she realised the moon was full tonight, no it could be. Couldn't it?
