𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗗 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗩

Harry followed Moody into his office, the professor groaned as he walked, moving to sit in a chair, near a giant chest.

Harry noticed a lot of magnifying glass looking things around the room, Moody was definitely a strange man. The professor took off his prosthetic leg.

Harry walked over to the area where his professor sat, frowning slightly when he saw a large magnifying glass near the chair. Moody noticed how Harry had a confused look on his face.

"That's a Foe-Glass," he spoke up. "Let's me keep an eye on my enemies. If I can see the whites of their eyes, they're standing right behind me."

He started laughing loudly, at the same time, the large chest started shaking and distant shouting was heard coming out of it.

"Wouldn't even bother telling you what's in there. You wouldn't believe it if I did. Now... what are you going to do about your dragon?" Moody said

"Oh, um... Well, you know, I just thought I'd..." Harry sighed

"Sit." Moody ordered, kicking out a chair for Harry to sit at. Harry walked over to him, sitting in the seat.

"Listen to me, Potter. Your pal Diggory? By your age, he could turn a whistle into a watch and have it sing you the time. Miss Delacour? She's a much a fairy princess as I am. As for Krum, his head may be filled with sawdust but Karkaroff's is not. They'll have a strategy. And you can get that it will play to Krum's strengths." Moody stated

Harry stayed silent, not really knowing what to say.

"Come on, Potter. What are your strengths?" The professor asked

"Um... I don't know. Well, I can fly. I mean, I'm a fair flyer. But I..." Harry replied

"Better than fair, the way I heard it." Moody smirked

"But I'm not allowed a broom." Harry frowned

"You're allowed a wand." Moody whispered

"(Y/N), who do you think will get the most points tomorrow?" Cho asked, leaning her head against her palm as she looked at the (h/c) haired girl who was flipping through pages of a random book.

"Well, maybe Cedric, he's quite smart. But I also feel like Harry might get a lot of points since he tends to pull his 'I almost died but I'm alive' card and people love that." She replied

"What do you mean by the 'I almost died but I'm alive' card?"

"You know, when I was in first year and you were in second, Harry almost died but then he was alive. And similar things happened in second and third year, so I'm sure he'll do that again." She explained

"Yeah.."

"It's getting closer to winter. When the lake is frozen up would you like to go ice skating with me on it?" (Y/N) asked

"Ice skating?!" Cho smiled

"Yeah, do you know how to ice skate?"

"Yeah, but I'm not very good," she muttered.

"I'll help you out then! Let's just hope one of us doesn't fall into the lake when we do ice skate."

"Yeah.. (Y/N), when we do go ice skating on the lake, will it just be us two or will other people also be there?" Cho questioned, a pink tint appeared on her cheeks.

"Well, I was planning it on being just us two but if you want more people to come then that's fine."

"Ah! No it's okay, I'm glad it's just us two." Cho grinned, trying to use her hand to cover the fact that she was blushing.

(Y/N) looked up at her, chuckling at the fact that Cho was covering her face.

"Cho?" A female voice with a strong French accent spoke

Cho turned to look at where the voice came from, smiling softly when she saw it was Fleur. Cho had been showing Fleur around since they had both gotten along well when they first met.

"Did I interrupted something?" Fleur asked when she noticed Cho's pink cheeks and the small smile (Y/N) had in her face.

"No, it's okay!" Cho smiled, "how are you Fleur?"

"I'm well, nervous for the first task though."

"I'm nervous too, want to sit and read with us?" Cho asked

"Sure."

Fleur sat next to (Y/N), the (h/c) haired girl looked up from the book she was reading.

"I'm (Y/N) McKinnon," she grinned, holding out her hand for Fleur to shake.

"Fleur Delacour," Fleur smiled, shaking (Y/N)'s hand.

They spent the rest of the day conversing, (Y/N) and Fleur ended up learning a lot about each other and they realised they both had similar interests.

Her and Fleur quickly became friends.
