I smiled. I was reminded how Krishna too waited a long time for me to realise my feelings. These two are like us.

I nodded my head.

Looking at my smile, Vinayak understood.

Sivaangi POV

I was standing outside the set and my car stopped in front of me.

I quickly got in and told my mom,
"Amma rombo Pasi...sapuda edha irruka?"

My mom then said,
"Vonnku dinner parcel panniyachu ma ...Vinayak, avaluku eduthu kudu.."

Vinayak took out a plastic container and gave it to me,
"Indha ka sapudu!"

I took it and told them what happened today while simultaneously eating my pasta. I told them about my anchoring experience in brief and then told them about my performance and His surprise.

I told them how he maintained he was busy since our last cwc shoot but he came today for me. I told about How we danced and how they made us both sit in the swing.

Vinayak and Amma were looking at me with a smile the entire time as I described everything in detail. I told them everything except the small cheek kiss I gave Ashwin. I hoped I was not blushing though from the way my brother was smirking at me, I probably was.

By the time, we reached home, I was very exhausted. I went to my room and crashed on my bed with a smile.

I thought back to the absolute shock on his face when I pecked his cheek. The way he stared at me blankly for few seconds, before he realised what happened.

The way he asked me with disbelief what I just did in his base voice.

I blushed as I saw his face when I closed my eyes. The way he stared at my eyes, searching for something while he himself was blushing.

I still could not believe, he had come for me. Just to surprise me, he had come to a completely new and a different set.

I fell asleep that night with smile on my face while replaying those moments on repeat in my head.

Meanwhile
in another part of Chennai,

Ashwin POV

I was standing in my balcony thinking of today.

I thought back to the way she looked. She was looking so ethereal in that purple madiyasar.

Her look of surprise. Her scream when she saw me. Her eyes.
I touched my cheek, on the spot where she kissed me.

Her eyes. When I looked into her eyes. It was different. I found different emotions which made me freeze. It held the same emotions which I have, everytime I look into a mirror when I was thinking about her. She realised. She knew exactly what she was doing when she kissed me on my cheeks.

She loves me Back!!

I let out a happy scream and lightly danced around forgetting anyone could see me and sang to the best of my abilities :
"Oh Shanti, Shanti Oh Shanti
En Uyirai Uyirai, Neeyenthi
Yen Sendrai Sendrai Ennai Thaandi,
Ini Neethaan Endhan Andhaathi..."

I noticed an old Aunty in the opposite building which was facing my balcony, giving me a weird judging look which was also mixed with horror.

It made me think,
Paatu pudikuliyo? Nala paatu ache...ivanaga yen ippidi orru reaction kudukuranga...?

I grinned and waved a good night which made her shake her head and she went back inside.

I shrugged and went and layed on my bed.
I could not contain my giddiness.

I will still wait for for her to make her move. But I will not make it easy for her.
I will not be quite.

Aiye...rowdy...nee vekka pada modhu avalo azhagu theriyuma....

I fell asleep with a happy smile on my face.

Next day, I got up late and was just relaxing after my routine singing practice.

When i got a call from Siva Anna.

I quickly picked it up
"Hellooo Annee! Eppudi irrukinga?"

"Haan naan nala irruken Ma...nee eppudi irruka?"

"Haan supera irruken ney! "

He chucked and asked,
"Seri da, indha week unnoda schedule eppudi irruku?"

"Seri da indha week orru look test irruku...naan details amd location anupuren.. amma kitta sollidu...seria? Naan vandhu vonna pick panuren seria?"

"Haan OK ney! Kandipa! Ama ennaku oru doubtu!"

"Ennadhu ma?"

"Look test na..naan endha dress pottu varanum? Costume avanga kudupanga la illa naamma namaloda dress edhututu varanuma? Yen kettena VTV shows la mostly avanga costume kudupanga...sometimes they leave it to our choice and us! Adhaan ..."

He laughed,
"Porruma porruma..moochu vidama kelvi kekuriye da! Illa da Costume ellame inga movie oda costume designer thaan kudupanga and select panuvanga..ellam movies um appudi thaan! Puridha?"

"Ohhhhh..ok ippo purinjidhu ! Thanks ney!"

He laughing said,
"Paravala! Verra edha doubt irruka?sollu"

"Ippodhiku illa Ney!"

"Appo seri da! Naan vonnaku details WhatsApp la anupuren seria?"

"OK ney! Byee!!"

I kept the phone and then something striked me!

I then quickly passed on my messages for test shoot to my mom along with the details.

I then thought back to how I got this opportunity.

I quickly picked up.

"Seri da kizha poi speaker la podu ellam onna pesulam"

I quickly ran down to the hall where both my parents were sitting and told them Ravoofa Ma'am wanted to have an important discussion. Ravoofa Ma'am explained what happened to my parents.

My mom said,
"Ma'am idhu seri varuma? Avangala nambi...ivala anupulama? "

Ravoofa Ma'am replied,
"Ennaku Siva va rombo varshama theriyum..since he started in vj tv. He is a gem..appo eppudi irrundhano ippavum adhe madhri thaan irrukan.. and avan Sivaangi ah thangachi ah paakuran...and it's his production..She will be the safest and the most protected...the entire team is very genuine..neenga Sk va nambi anupulam.."

My parents looked convinced and relieved.
But I was not. I asked her,
"Ma'am, but ennaku acting ah varadhu ...ennaku experience ah illa...idhu seria varuma? "

Ravoofa Ma'am then said,
" Vonnala pana mudiyum Sivaangi..this is an amazing opportunity.."

I still had some doubts.

Looking at me my Dad said,
"Ravoofa...ennakum Binni kum ok...but this is ultimately her choice..whatever it is we have to respect that.."

I then asked her,
"Ma'am nan ungaluku ennida decision evening a soluta?"

"Sure..no problem da! Nee yosichi mudivu ku va!"

I kept the phone and told my parents,
"Amma naan Ashwin kitta idha pathi discuss panitu varren... avaru kitta pesuna ennaku clarity kedaikum ."

My parents exchanged knowing looks and smiled making me confused.

Then my mom said,
"Po poitu pesitu va Sivu.."

I nodded amd quickly went to my room and called him.

He picked up in the first ring making me surprised.

"Hi Rowdy!"

"Helloo Manna! Pah inniku mazha peya pogudhu!"

"Yen ma?"

"Pinna 1st ring liye phone eduthutinga! Yen phone kaga wait panitu irrundhinga la?"

He started laughing,
"Ma enna ma nee! Instagram la irrundhen...adhan nee call pana po en phone en kai liye irrunchu.."

I chuckled at his tone.
"Seri seri..unga kitta orru important ana vishayam sollunum.."

"Sollu ma.."

I told him everything.

"Neenga enna nenaikuringa Ashwiney? Ennaku nadika varuma? That to in a movie with Sk Anna? Normally ennaku scriptu kudutha seria varadhu....flow la panuradhu thaan seria varum...can I do it? What if naan idha accept panitu ...makkal ala adhu accept pana mudila na? "

He let me talk fully and calmly replied,
"Kanna moodu.."

"Huh?!"

"Kanna moodu solluren.."

I closed my eyes,

I did as he told.

He then said,
"Inga paaru Sivaangi,  you are a multitalented person..ellarum onnu illa rendu vishaythula nala irrupanga...but very rarely a person is gifted with so many talents. Vonnaku adhu kadaval kuduthirukaru...and who told you can't act? Orru orru week you carry your character get up so beautifully and gracefully! Be it any character from Arukani to Pulikesi...avalo azhaga panura...yes you have never done this but it will be a new experience la for you? Try panu see if you like it!
enna ketta nee panu thaan solluven..but at the end of the day..its your decision...you have to take a call..seria?"

"Hmm puridhu Ashwineyy...ana makkal..?"

"Ma...vonna yaaruku thaan ma pudikadhu? Ellarum vonna avanga veetu pillar ah paakuranga.."

"I feel much better ...thanks for giving me this much needed talk Ashwineyy"

"Ouii idhu enna namakula pudhusa thanks ellam?"

"Hehehee sorry Ashwineyy orru flow la vandhuduchu..."

"Seri nidhanama yosichi mudivu pannu seria?"

"OK Ashwineyyy!"

"Seri Ma naan phone vechiduren.."

"Seri.."

"Bye Rowdy!"

I smiled as I thought back. He always guided me. He always cheered me up and gave me a clear picture whenever I am filled with doubts due to my overthinking. He never once doubted me or my abilities.  More than me, he was confident in me.

It was after talking to him, did I accept the offer to work in Don. Back then, I didn't realise I was in love with Ashwin.

After that I had met Sk Anna in his office and we officially signed the contract.

I truly gained an Anna in him. After meeting him in person, my parents were also relieved.

I texted to Ashwiney about my look test.

And got his reply:

Manna:
Best of luck Rowdy! Nala panu..Don't be nervous!

I texted him back:
Ok Ashwineyy!! Porren Cupa thookitu varren! I mean nala panitu varren nu sonnen!

Manna :
That's the spirit!✊️

I smiled at his text and clicked his dp to maximise his pic.

I looked at him and kissed his photo.

I blushed and looked at his dp and said,
"I love you Ashwineyy!"
