I could still feel her lips on my cheek..

I rubbed the back of my neck and went back to my car, to return home

Today was Magical.

Few hours before ...

Sam POV

I had come to Super Singer launch, hoping to talk to Sivaangi.

She hasn't picked up my calls or replied to my messages be it in WhatsApp or on insta!
Not even a blue tick or the seen.

Which made me irritated to the core.

The shooting started and whenever she would do the hosting, I would clap loudly and encourage her. I knew Media Masons would focus the camera on me if I do that. One of the heads of MM was my distant relative. So I had his support.

After finishing her part, I saw sitting in the lower audience stand. The place beside her was empty. So I got up and started to move towards her. I really wanted to talk. But before I could reach her, Rakshan Anna came and sat beside her. I stopped.  I knew he won't get up anytime soon now. He was giving me a cold shower nowadays. No doubt supporting that arrogant Ashwin.

I then went back to my seat and continued to watch the show.

Soon it was time for her performance.
She missed the gender in between making us all laugh. Towards the end of her performance,  I got up and went outside to pick up a call.

After 10 min, I came back to see Pugazh Anna too in the stage. I didn't join the audience but I was watching with the technicians from behind the camera.

Pugazh Anna then said,
"Yen Mappilai ah erukunga!"

Mani ka said ,
"Mappilai ah?"

Pugazh Anna then shouted,
"Mappilai ! En thangachi ah assingama pesitan! Va Mappilai!"

"Yaaru da Mappilai veppala nu tu?"

Then I saw Ashwin enter with the bgm.

I saw the way Sivaangi screamed. I saw how everyone in the audience were looking at them with a smile.

I saw the way they both were looking at eachother.  The way she couldn't speak for few minutes.  The way he was looking at her.

I was pissed. She never reacted anything like this when I went to surprise her on cwc set. Infact she didn't even blink.

I saw the way he danced with her.

Kai start la pudichan...vida ve illa..

The way they both were exchanging glances. The blush on both their faces.

Pakka kevalama irruku...

I got an idea.

I quickly got my phone out and recorded the entire duration they were on stage.

I had a plan.

I watched as Ashwin left the set.

After 5 minutes,  I saw Sivaangi also leave the set. I followed her from the distance. I saw them both talking . I quickly got my phone out and focused my camera on them. My eyes widened when I saw her kiss him on the cheek. I gritted my teeth. But I had managed to capture it .

I watched as he left and quickly hid behind a car as Sivaangi passed me to go back to the set.

I came out of my hiding place with a smirk.

Before she got to home. I will execute my plan.

I called a number.

"Hello..?? Naan ungala ippo meet pana varulama? Unga kitta orru important ana vishayam pesu num.."

"Seri va.."

"OK Ma.."

"Ethana vaati solliruken enna Ma nu kupudadha nu?"

"Sorry nga Aunty..tho orru 1 hr la vaaren"

"Veetuku vara venna..naanga ippo restaurant la irrukom...indha ##### restaurant ku va.."

"OK Aunty adhu evp ku paakathula thaan irruku..orru 15 min la varen.."

"Hmm"

"Bye Aunty.."

"Hello???"

I took my phone away from my ear to see she had already cut my phone.

I was slightly irritated but calmed down thinking how she will react when she sees the video.

Binni Ma POV

I was in a restaurant with Vinayak near EVP and eating dinner. We had packed pasta for Sivaangi.

We were waiting there for Sivu to finish her shoot so that we could pick her up.

Vinyak was telling me about book he had recently read when I my phone rang.

I frowned.

Vinayak asked,
"Enna achi Ma? Yaaru ?"

I showed him who was calling.

Vinayak then said,
"Ivana? Seri eduthu speaker la podu! Enna thaan venum nu paakulam.."

It was Sam. He wanted to meet and speak something important. So I called him to the restaurant.

I never allowed him to enter our house.

Within 15 minutes he came and pulled a chair and sat. Then he greeted us. Such mannerless fellow.

Sam looked between me and Vinayak and then he looked at me and said,
"Aunty...I wanted to bring something to your notice...inneku ss8 launch onnu nadanduchu.."

I raised an eyebrow,
"Enna achi?"

Sam then said,
"Ashwin surprise visit nu solli vandhan aunty..Sivaangi kai pudichi dance...paakka orru madhri irrunchu...Ava kai ah vidave illa...idhu naan unga kitta orru nala enathula..."

Vinayak interrupted and said,
"Amma....sila peru irrukanga Ma...konjom kuda vekkam mannam suddu sorranai...edhume ilama...Indha madhri jenmatha paaka modhu...ivaanga sapadu la uppu thaan pottu sapaduranga la...illa Vera yedhavudhu pottu sapaduranga la ne therila..."

I controlled my giggle and lightly tapped his shoulder.

Vinayak then said,
"Illa ma podhuva sonnen.."

Sam meanwhile glared at Vinu and then quickly looked at me,
"Neenga enna namba maatinga nu thaan naan evidence oda vandhen..idha paarunga.."

He quickly showed me the video while Vinu was watching over my shoulder.

I saw my daughter dancing with Ashwin.
The way they both were blushing and dancing made me very happy. The looks they both exchanged. The way they seemed to be lost in their own world reminded me of mine and Krisha's younger selves.

Sivaangi had already told me how she realised she was in love with Ashwin.
Told me about the way he treats her and how he makes her feel. Her father and I already knew that ofcourse.

We both saw the genuine and unconditional love for her in his eyes. The way he repects her. The way he pampers her. We also saw our daughter slowly fall in love with him. We knew long back it was only a matter of time.

Seeing both of them together in the sets of Super Singer made me smile. Ashwin is a gem. Even if we tried, we doubted we would have found a man like him.

I heard Vinayak mumble under his breath,
"Pahh enna dance uh! Maamzey, Akka ku semma surprise kudithu pinnita po!"

I looked at him and he realised he had spoken out loud. He gave me a thirrutu muzhi and opened his mouth to salvage his oolaral.

I shook my head indicating we will talk later.

T

he video then continued to show us Ashwin and Sivu talking outside the ss8 set. Then She pulled him down to her height and pecked his cheeks.

Vinayak coughed loudly and I quickly switched the phone off and looked at Sam.

He nodded and said,
"Paathinga la Aunty...avan evolo advantage eduthukuran nu? I wanted to show this to you...avan evalo indecent nu I hope you understand..."

I glared at him,
"Yaaru indecent? Ashwin ah illa neeya??!"

Sam looked at me confused,
"Aunty..?"

I took a deep breath to control my anger,
"Adhu enna Avan? Avaru! He is older than you and more experienced! Nee rombo concerned ah nadika vendam! I know exactly who you are and what kind of a person Ashwin is!"

Sam then said,
"Ana Aunty avan.."

I raised my hand to stop him and said,
"For your information, Ashwin ennoda and Sivu Appa ku already inform pannitu thaan indha surprise ah kudutharu...Pugazh and we both knew about it! We trust him because we know who he is! Vonnaku kevalama illa? Ippidi video eduka? Konjom kuda privacy kuduku numnu kuda illa?"

Sam stared at me open mouthed,
"Privacy ah...?"

I continued,
"What happens or what's going between them is their personal life and private matter...nee avala unmaiya orru basic friend ah nenachi irunda...ippidi paniruka matta!"

Sam then tried,
"Aunty.."

"Sam do me a favour,  don't ever come to me again and stay away from Sivaangi!"

He nodded and left looking pissed.

Vinayak hugged me from behind,
"Amma calm down ma..vidunga.."

I took a deep breath and calmed down.

I then turned towards him and asked,
"Ashwin ah enna kupta konjo nerathuku munadi?"

Vinayak rubbed the back of his neck,
"Adhu vandhu..Avaru yaarukum solla kudadhu nu sonnaru.."

I then said,
"Adhu Nee oolarthuku munadi yosichi irrukunum..ippo sollu"

Vinayak then said,
"Adhu...he has been in love with Akka since a while now...anneku namma veetula stay pannaru la, appo he said he is waiting for Akka to realise her feelings and that she would have to make the first step..."

I smiled. I was reminded how Krishna too waited a long time for me to realise my feelings. These two are like us.

I nodded my head.

Looking at my smile, Vinayak understood.
