Part 2 of Double update

I didn't care about the result then.
Whatever happens it would be our efforts. We were one Team. We were One.

Ashwin POV

Bhatt sir announced,
"Last 15 minutes.."

"Sir ! 15 minutes ah smoke pananum sir"

I was quickly prepared charcoal in a bowl for smoking the skewers when Rowdy with a serious face asked,
"Neenga smoke panuvinga la? Ungaluku andha pazhakam la kedayadhe..."

I controlled my laughter and replied with a straight face,
"Smoke panna porren .."

I poured ghee on the charcoal and smoke started coming and placed it in the plate where I had kept the skewers and put the lid.

The smoke was leaking from the sides.

Sivaangi got excited looking at that but I was a bit worried.
"Idhuku lid maattom correct ah irrundha unnum nala irrukum...smoke side lendhu pogudhu.."

"Kavala padadhinga! Naan paathukuren! Naan smoke pogama pudichikuren.. "

Saying that, Sivaangi went and almost layed on the lid and holding the sides in such a way that the smoke won't go out.

Then Bhatt came and teased us making me laugh.

Soon it was times up and we presented our dish.

Then after tasting our dish they gave the comments and appreciated the dish.

"Naan unnume panula...verum idea mattom thaan kuduthen ellame Sivaangi thaan panna.."

Sivaangi brushed and said,
"Appudi laam illa...rendu perume equal ah thaan pannom!"

Which made the Judges tease us. Then
Cheff Bhatt sir stood up and gave us a hug and blessed us individually.

I thanked them feeling grateful while Sivaangi was jumping and clapping her hands.

The banners continued,
"Adhu...vandhu...aham unnum illa.."

Rakshan then coaxed,
"Enna achi Thangam sollunga.."

Then Partner jumped in,
"Adhu unnum illa nadula andha Atta illa na Papa ku unnum nalla irrundhurkum.."

"Ahaa  Amaa!"

Making everyone laugh and tease.

I blushed and laughed,
Adipavi...naan nenachada ippidi public ah sollita...

Then pasamalar had their scene while I was just looking at then admiring their bond.

We were chosen for the final cook off for the immunity band along with Master and Shakeela Ma's team.

The Chefs brought in a table full of starters both veg and Non veg.

Sivaangi dragged me to the front of the table,

"Vegu veg vegu.."

I stayed behind a bit since it was too crowded.
But Sivaangi never left me alone.
She brought couple of  veg cheese balls and handed then to me,

"Indha Ashwineyy veg cheese balls..idha sapudu...vonnaku chicken starter edha venuma? Naan edhuthu thara va?"

I looked at her care and the fact that she was ready to bring chicken starters for me.

I shook my head,
"Vendam Ma"

She looked at me then back at the non veg platter tray which was crowded.
"Ashwineyyy sure ah? Anga paaru ellarum finish pannidu vanga!"

"Ma vendam ma vidu..."

"Sure ah?"

"Ama Ma"

"Appo ok!"

After we had the starters, the Judges told us for the final cook off, we had to make any starters.

I decided to make Chicken Roulade and listed the ingredients to Sivaangi so she can get it from the pantry.

After she came back, I went and brought all the remaining ingredients which she missed and the equipments which was needed.

We were in the middle of the cooking when Damu sir came to our table and was talking with Sivaangi.

Damu sir,
"Enna idhu? Enna panuringa?"

Sivaangi smiled and said,
"Chicken Roller "

I chuckled and thought
Roller illa Rowdy...Roulade..

Damu sir looked at me with a smile and asked her,
"Roller ah? Road Roller ah?"

I continued to hammer the chicken into a thin layer.

"Therila Chef, appudi thaan sonnaru.."

He then corrected her,
"Chicken Roulade.."

"Naan thaan sonnen la chef..ivaru ellame thaaru maara seivaru!"

He looked at her and asked,
"Thaaru maara va?"

"Ama Chef!"

I smiled  at their conversation and continued working.

Just few things were left to do for our dish when My Rowdy leaned closer and asked with her doe eyes staring at me,
"Nala vandhurum la..?"

Unable to handle her being so close and looking at me , I looked down and replied,
"Varadha poruthu.."

She then said with a pout,
"Neenga jeikuradhu la thaan en Image ah irruku.."

I just wanted to kiss her pout but then I shook my head to clear my thoughts and reassured her,
"Jeichidu lam!"

Which made her brighten  up and I thought,
Enna kollura di...

Soon they announced time up and we stepped out of our workstation.

First Shakeela Ma and Pugazh went for tasting followed by Master and Bala.

Then it was our turn and Rakshan called us,
"Ashwin and Sivaangi vanga.."

(A/N: As I am writing this...Can we go back to these days?? Can we go back in time???back when we used to constantly refresh vtv YouTube page...to get a small glimpse of them in the promo.. back when we use to stalk cwc 2 fans insta pages hoping to get something...back when Manna made me the happiest person when he posted their pics on his acc for the immunity round...🤧🤧🤧🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

Sorry ..lets get back to the story...)

We came and presented our dish.

The Judges loved it.
Damu sir said,
"Ashwin, idhe dish ah ippo naan college la Mark podunum na I would have given  100 marks!"

"Thank you sir ...thank you so much sir..!"

Both of them stood up and came and gave me a hug and I touched their feet for their blessings.

Then Raksha came and hugged me,
"Vonna paaratra alavu ku laam naan periya manushan illa...vaaram vaaram Vaga vagai ya sapadu podura unn nalla manasuku.."

The entire time, Sivaangi was jumping and clapping her hands in happiness.

Rakshan then said to Sivaangi,
"Enna Sivaangi thullitu irruka...indha varam fulla nee nenachade nadakudhu.."

She then said with full confidence,
"Innime indha set uh ku naan thaan Rowdy! Inne me yaara naan vela seila nu sonnanga!"

I clapped my hands and laughed agreeing with her,
Yes...she was a Rowdy..en Rowdy...

Then Damu sir said,
"Sivaangi indha happy moment la edha paatu paadu da.."

She blushed and looked at me and said,
"Naan vandhu ivaru kaga orru song dedicate panni paaduren..."

I tried to act casual.

Damu sir said,
"Paadu da.."

Then she looked at me and said,
"Edha thappa irrundha...manichidunga.."

I looked into her eyes and asked,
"Yen ? Andha paata naan ah ezhudhunen.."

Which made her blush and someone loudly cleared their throat making both of us look away.

Then she started singing,
"Muzhusa unakkena naan vaazhuren.."

My eyes widened and I stared at her in shock.

"Pudhusa dhinam dhinam ena paakkuren.."

I was overwhelmed and looked at her singing soulfuly...her singing my song...

"Azhutha thozhula naan saanjupen
Alavillaama aasai vekkuren.."

Unable to control my emotions, I joined her.. slightly

"Yeno thaano.."
"Yeno thaano.."

She smiled looking at me as she sang.

"Endru pona naalum
Ellaam neeye"
As she sang these lines, looking my eyes, I nearly had tears and looked down.
I didn't want the camera to capture how much this moment ment to me..

"Endru maaruthae"

I joined in,

"Yaarum illa..Neram vandha pinnum.."
"Yaarum illa..Neram vandha pinnum.."

"Unadharru
Kanden pennae.."
"Unadharru
Kanden pennae.."

She then stopped singing and I continued,

"Lesaa azhagula
Thaana vizhuguren.."

I blushed and gestured that's it.

And everyone cheered for us when Bhatt Sir asked,
"Enna paatu pa idhu?"

She then answered,
"Idhu vandhu...ivaru nadicha paatu...eppome ellarum vandhu naan ivaru kuda pair ana ivaruku edhume jeichi kuduka mattendren nu sonnanga..naan mudivu pannen...ennaki naan ivaru kuda pair anapo ivaru win pandraro...appo naan indha paata ivaru ku dedicate panuven nu..."

Making me look at her in awe. I was just to emotional to express myself. 

Bhatt sir then said,
"Nee idha inneki nooru vati kuda paadu ma! Jeichi kuduthurka!"

We then went back to our place. Judges then officially announced Me as the immunity band winner.

It was OUR WIN.

Sivaangi removed the band which  Bhatt sir had tied on my right arm  and tied it on my left.

More than the win, It gave me immense joy to see her happiness.

They then announced that only the 1st part of today's episode will be telecasted and part 2 will be on 24th January due to the launch of Super Singer 8.

They then invited us to come to the launch if we were free.

Sivaangi quickly looked at me,
"Ashwineyyyyy neeyum vaa Ashwineyy...naa pada porren Ashwineyy..."

I smiled,
"Enga ma...ennaku anneki shoot irruku Ma.."

She pouted and showed her puppy face,
"Konjo neram...just orru 1 hr? 30 min? Please.."

I shook my head trying so hard not to melt.
"Kashtam Ma.."

"Ada po pa!"

I controlled my laughter.

.

We then hung out with others and then Krish Pa came and picked her up.

I smiled as I got in my car and drove home mentally making a plan.
