Then soon our break got over and we were called for the shoot.

Ashwin POV

The second task was for the comalis of the 4 selected teams. They had to write the names of the ingredients shown by Bhatt Sir in slate and if they got even one wrong, they were out of the game.

I looked at Sarath and asked silently if he would be able to do it. And he gave me a thumbs up and said

" Try panten Partner."

The game started and in the third round of guessing, Sivaangi got out. I couldn't help but admire her cute expressions and reactions on getting the wrong answer.

The task progressed until it was Pugazh versus Partner. I was actually impressed with his efforts. I didn't expect him to last so long.

But unfortunately, he got the last thing wrong and Pugazh won the advantage task.

Then it was time for the main task and we were asked to go back to our counters. As I was passing Sivaangi's table she looked at me with an adorable expressions,

"Bye!!! Nala panunga.. Best of luck!! "

I couldn't help but laugh and nod

"Thanks.. "

Bhatt sir instructed us to cook whatever we wanted to cook since this was our first day and the hindrance was we had to do some dance steps taking turns with our pair.

I decided to cook Veg Au Gratin since my strong point was continental.

Adha vechi pulayar soori poduvom..

I quickly told the ingredients to Sarath but he was simply running to and fro and not really  listening to what I was saying.
I started to get stressed because the dish needed time to bake too.

" Cauliflower edthuko... One carrot.. "

"Cauliflower.. Cauliflower.. Cauliflower.. "

"Broccoli.. Broccoli... Broccoli...adhu illa!  Green color le irrukum.. Broccoli "

(A/N: I seriously cannot with his repeat mode!!! First episode la neraya repeat mode irrundhu Chu Pavam Sarath! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂)

I was seriously stressed because it was still Sarath's turn to cook!

"Broccoli clean pannu...Broccoli clean pannu.. Broccoli clean pannu "

Sarath looked at me and tried to calm me by saying
"Clean pandren Partner.."

Though I felt bad It really was out of my control.

Soon we started to cook and suddenly Sivaangi came from behind me,

"Hii...! Enna pandringa? "

I smiled at her forgetting my stress,

"Nanga la.. Veg Au Gratin"

She brightened up and and asked in her naughty tone,

"Oh Vegetarian? Nenga enna kaga thanen Veg pandringa? "

I blushed and tried to cover up,

"Aiyoooo wrong ana timing le vandu wrong ah adikuriye.. "

She chuckled cutely,
"Solunga.. "

I gave up and surrendered,
"Idha ne yeppudi venna edhu thuklam "

We both laughed and our eyes met briefly, but it felt longer.

Her eyes were so magnetic..there was something swirling in those orbs..

Our moment was broken when Darsha called Sivaangi and she ran back to her table. I shook my head and got back to cooking.

After sometime, it was Partner's time to cook again and I was giving him instructions when I by chance looked into the pantry.

I saw Pugazh and Sivaangi in there and he had a hand on her shoulder and was singing some song.

(A/N: Ashwin doesn't know about that Pugazh and Sk are pasamalar 2.0)

I got pissed a bit, enna Ivan Sivaangi thol mela Kai potu paatu pandren..

I told Partner,

"Anga Paar Pugazh Ulla romance panni tu irrukan"

Soon we got back into track and were cooking when Sarath told me that he didn't bring godumai maavu making me stressed.

But I saw Sivaangi pass our table, so I quickly called her over.
"Sivaangi... Sivaangi.. Konjom godumai maavu eduthu va yen. "

She blinked at me and with a serious face,
"Unga dish uh, neenga than eduthutu varnum. "

I gave her a puppy dog face,
"Eduthutu vara matiya..? Enna kaga? "

She looked like she melted,
"Aiyoooo.. Seri eduthutu varen.. "
And started towards the pantry.
I reminder her,
"gothumai maavu venum ma.. "
She gave me a confused look,
"gothumai na..? "

"gothumai na.. Wheat flour.. Wheat flour.. Poi eduthutu vaa"

She nodded and cutely ran inside the pantry and got it for me.

I looked at as she was going back to her table,
"Thank you so much Sivaangi"

And She smiled back at me and shrugged her shoulders making me chuckle.

Enna panalum Azhaga irrukale..

We somehow managed to finish plating our dish just as Rakshan said times up.

Each contestant presented their dish along with their comalis and finally my turn came. Before I could take my dish up-to the judges table, Sivaangi cutely ran over to my counter and took my dish for presentation with the utmost care.

I could feel everyone's stare making me blush but didn't say anything.

After she kept my dish in the judges table, she ran back to her counter which was just beside where I was standing.

Chef Bhatt and Rakshan teased her making her blush and then asked Partner the name of the dish.

He looked at me with an unsure look and said,
" Adhu vandhu.. Auratin "

I looked at him,
"Partner Solli kudu thene.. "

Then I heard Sivaangi say,
"Naan solluta..?  It's Veg Au gratin! "

I looked at Bhatt sir with a proud smile,
"Correct ah sonna"

Sivaangi smiled and gave me a high-five with both the hands.

When Rakshan asked her if she remembers her dish name, Sivaangi gave a blank look making everyone laugh lightly.

Bhatt sir was impressed with my dish and gave me great comments making me really happy.

As I was getting positive comments and appreciation from Bhatt Sir,  I noticed that Sivaangi was jumping in her place with an infectious smile and clapping her hands for me.

Enna ponnu da..Yenna kaga Ava ivolo happy ah agura.

After tasting, partner and I went back to our work station.

Finally, it was time to announce the 'Chef of the week' and unexpectedly it was me! I couldn't believe it to be honest but it really boosted my confidence. I got an Oven for the Chef of the week title.

And then we heard a loud CUT

I was congratulated by everyone and Sivaangi came to me with a bright and happy smile and
"Congratulations Ashwineyy!!"

Making me surprised since no one had ever called me in such a manner.

"Thanks Ma "

"Seri.. Ennaku ungaloda dish taste panna kudu pingala? "

I chuckled and led her to my table where Sarath had already started eating it and She rushed to eat it.

She really enjoyed it,
"Chance illa! Super ah irruku! "

Making me smile.

Soon it was time to go home and I quickly called Sarath aside and gave him the oven.
He looked at me shocked and said,
"Partner...enna idhu.. "

"Edho yennala mudin jadhu.. Without you I wouldn't have won.. So idhu oru gift ah neye vechiko.."

He got emotional and hugged me and said
"Thanks Partner..! "

I was on my way to my car when I saw Sivaangi get into Pugazh 's car making me frown.

Were they both really that close..

As soon as I reached home, I quickly got fresh and opened YouTube.
I typed Pugazh and Sivaangi and came across an interview she had given after Cwc season 1 had ended.

I clicked on it, Sivaangi was asked to talk about Pugazh.
She smiled and said "Pugazh vandhu ennoda kooda porakadha Anne. I always wanted an older brother since I'm the elder sibling. But Cook with Comali gave me quite a few Annes like Rakshan Anne and Bala Anne.  But closest na Adhu definite ah Pugazh Anna than. Infact my parents also think of him as their son and he also calls them as Amma -pa"

The interviewer laughed and said "Ama ungaloda pasamalar moments than Nanga pathome"

Then I saw another interview in which Pugazh had basically said the same thing.

I felt like bashing my head for the gross misunderstanding and was embarrassed.

Che...ivolo cute ah na bond ah poi thappa nenachitena.. But ana why did I feel so pissed.. I have never felt like this... Enna nadakudhu Inga..

To distract myself from these thoughts, I binge watched season 1 of Cook with comali just to know what all I can expect. And definitely not for anything else...

Our Hero was in denial and confused about what he was feeling.
