The next day I woke up at around 10 am.
I washed my face with the new brush which was there in the bathroom and went out of my room.

I slowly went and stood outside her room and was about to knock the door when I heard a voice behind me.

"GoodMorning Maamz"

I spun around shocked. It was her brother Vinayak. This was the first time I'm meeting him. Like his sister, he had the same ability to shock me with his words.

"Maamz ah?!"

He laughed,
"Shock ah korainga ...shock ah korainga..Yedhuku ippidi react panuringa? Correct ah thaane kupten..."

I was staring at him.

He signed and said,
"Aiyoo...I know you love Sivu....and Neenga thaan enn Akka ku correctu!"

I chuckled and asked,
"Yeppudi kandu pudicha? Naan von Akka va love pandren tu?"

He looked at me like I had three heads.
"Maama neenga orru nalla actor thaan...I have seen your work...but when it comes to Sivu..ungaluku suthama nadikave therila...unga vai onnu sollum..unga kannu verra sollum...and its not just me...ella makkalukum adhu theridhu..neenga Youtube la edits la paapingala illaya? Decode semmaya pannuvanga..that too Rac verra level.."

I blushed and asked,
"Aiyayooo...avolo appatama theridhu...?"

He smirked and nodded.

I chuckled. It was so easy to talk with him. Moreover, I could see myself in him. I had a feeling we had lot in common other than Sivaangi.

"Approm...Vinayak...indha vishayatha un Akka kitta solladha...actually yaaru kittayum solladha..i want her to realize her feelings..adhuku time vendum..it has to be her choice..and adhu varaikum nee enna ellar munadiyum Maama nu kupudadhey..."

Vinayak nodded his head and said,
"Ok Naan yaar kitayum solla maaten! Approm ellar munadiyum i will call you bro..and neenga enna Vinu nu kupudulam..thats my pet name."

I said ok and then asked him,
"Ama nee yedho Rac nu sonniye...appudi naan enna?"

He facepalmed and shook his head,
"Ada po Maamz vonna vechikitu...urga kuda panna mudiyadhu...Naan kiya porren bye!"

Saying this he left.

I stared at his back.

Enna da idhu...Akkavum Thambiyum enna ivolo asalta kalaichitu poite irrukanga..

I followed him down.

But what is Rac?

I ended up spending the entire day with her family. Talking with K.k uncle was also very easy. He had returned in the morning.

It really felt like I was back in coimbatore with my family.

It was late evening..almost night when I left.

Rowdy came to send me off.

I looked at her,
"Seri Ma...naan kelaburen.."

She nodded her head,
"Ok Ashwineyyy! Byeeee veetuku poitu text pannunga..approm PS velayadama orrunga nerthoda padunga!"

"Ahan Seringa Madam..."

Before I opened the door of my car,
I turned and looked into her eyes and said in my base voice,
"Goodnight Sivaangi Ma.."

Her eyes widened and she stuttered,
"Goo..Goodnight..Ash...win.."

I smiled and left her house.

*2 Weeks later*

Sivaangi POV

Today was Pongal celebration round.
Since we had getup today all comalis were asked to come early to get dressed.

I was looking at the mirror fully dressed as Pulikesi vadivel.

Hmmm paravala...Mannara ah....illa illa Manni get up la nala thaan irruken...

Someone knocked the door and I asked them to come in.

I looked at the door and squealed.

"Anneeeee....thangammmmm"

"Thangammm...."

I ran and gave him a hug!

I pulled back and asked him,
" Anne naan yeppudi irruken ney?"

Rakshan Anna smiled and said,
"Vonnaku enna da Thangam...nee endha getup pottalum azhaga irrupa!"

"Anneee Avaru ready aitara enna"

He smirked,
"Evuru da?"

I blushed and said,
"Annee..Ashwineyy ready ah nu ketten..enna potturkaru..?"

Rakshan Anne gave me look which I didn't understand.

I blinked up at him waiting for an answer.

Rakshan Anne finally said,
"Inniku Pongal celebration la ...so ellarum traditional la thaan da varanga.."

"Ohhh...ahaan ok"

He then looked around and asked,
"Ama...inga orru Pei irrukume..adhu yenga thangam?"

I looked at him shocked,
"Pei ah...? Inga Pei irruka enna?"

"Bayapudatha...Naan Mani ah sonnen"

"Mani Akka pei ah?"

I laughed and said,
"Akka unnum get up pottutu irrukanga.."

We chatted a bit then he left.

Soon all the comalis were called to make the entry first.

The only thing I was praying was
Kadavale...Ashwineyy yeppudi ah enna pair a pick panna num...

Ashwin POV

We were chatting with the judges as usual when Rakshan asked,
"Ashwin indha vati yaaru vonnaku pair ah venum nu aasai padura..?"

"Nanum varra varrama Pugazh venum nu kekuren..."

Bhatt Sir laughed and said
"Inniku avan setu ke varala.."

"Varra liya.."

Then I remembered he had messaged me saying he might not be able to make it to cwc shoot if his movie with Santhanam Sir gets extented.

Then Pavi teased Muthu Anne and Chef Damu asked me,
"Ashwin Sivaangi venama?"

Before I could reply Deepa Akka said,
"Venam nu sollidu..."

I asked with slight irritation and possesiveness,
"Edhuku...?"

The judges explaind the pairing process.
All the comalis were dressed in the get up of Vadivel characters.

I had my eyes on the sword indicating Pulikesi character. It had to be Rowdy.

But Master picked up the sword then She came in.

I was just staring at her as she spoke with Rakshan.

"Hello Manna yeppudi ullel"

Then Rakshan asked in sutha Tamil with some struggle,
"Ashwin enga Manna.."

"Manni...Manni"

He nodded and said,
"Ahan..engal Manni varadhathukul thangal evolo varutha..paduringal?"

I chuckled and said,
"Actuall ah adha naan thaan edukulam nu irrundhen..."

"Aatatha kalaingal...aatatha kalaingal.."

Then I heard Bala say from behind,
"Ayee Papa...Kozhandai kulavi..."

I turned and glared at him while some of them laughed.

She then left with Master.

Finally it was my turn and I got Thangadurai Anna.

Honestly I could not mangage with him or work with him.

He was of no help.
Naan solluradhu kekave mattendraru...He just wants to say his mokka Jokes...Joke nala irrundhalum paravala...

After a point I was too tensed. Like Always Rowdy calmed me down by singing.
When She asked,
"Naan paatu paduta?"

I never expect she would sing this song...that too from one of my fav movies.

She looked me straight in the eyes and started singing,

Like I always I was lost in her eyes and her voice.

In the lunch break Punith had dropped in for a visit.
Sivaangi quickly formed a brother bond with him making me look chuckle.

While Punith was giving me teasing looks.

Soon the shooting started again and without me voicing out anything, Rowdy not only worked hard for Master but also me. She was putting her best efforts for both the tables.

If I was able to present the dish that day..it was soley because of her.

It was a complete surprise for all of us when Sivakarthikeyan Anna dropped in.
He spoke about each and everyone of us.

It was very obvious he was seeing each and every episode.
I thanked him and told him how he had helped me in the inital days when I was new to chennai.

Then we all took photos with him.
It was a moment to be framed. He was one of my inspirations.

After he left.

The shoot got over we were taking random pics and chatting with each other. No one had changed their costumes.

Sivaangi and I were talking. I was playing with her crown while she kept adjusting it.
She asked me seriously,
"Manna.."

I controlled my blush when She casually called me Manna.

"Hmm sollunga Manni.."

She blushed making me smile.

"Ahh..nan indha get up la pakka yeppudi irruken?"

I looked at her and thought..

Enn Azhaagu Raniye...

I chuckled and said,
"Vonnaku enna Ma...nee cute ah irruke.."

Then we heard a voice,

"Oui Sivaangi eppudi Di irruka"

We looked ath the direction of the voice and It was Sam.

I smiled and moved back a little.

I knew what he was trying. I could see right through him but he was also her friend for the past 2 years.
There were certain battles and things which she had to do herself. She won't be alone to face it. But she has to face it. I will only guide her and support her.

I expected her to run towards him. But She surprised me. She didn't move an inch away from me. She simply smiled and waved her habd and said Hi.

Then continued talking to me.

I looked at his expression and controlled my laugh.

Before he could react others surrounded him and started chatting with him.
I noticed Rakshan and Sarath exchange a proud smile.

I realized they had made others distract Sam. I smiled.

After sometime we were hanging out in a room when Sivaangi got a call and left saying she will be back.

Something didn't feel right.

Sam POV

I was burning in anger.

I had planned everything. I wanted to show that Ashwin who was important in her life. I wanted to impress her with the suprise visit.

But when I dropped in the sets.
She simply smiled and waved at me then continued talking with him.

I expected her to run to me and hug me.

Then before I could go to where she was standing, I was surrounded by others and was forced to mingle with them.

Currently, I had called Sivaangi to one of the free green rooms.

I heard movement behind me and turned around thinking its Sivaangi but it was Mani Akka.

She was giving me a look which I have never seen before. She was always very jovial. So this was new to me.

She asked,
"Sam vonnaku enna venum?"

I looked at her,
"Purila Ka?"

( A/N: M is Mani ka and S in Sam)

M:
"Yedhuku nee ippo vandha? Inniku nee fulla veti thaane..you don't have any shows today...Concert kuda illa..yedhu inga vandha? Sivu kitta enna venum ?"

I felt insulted when She said that...
Eventhough I was trying various routes..i was not getting recognized.
Unlike Sivaangi. I never thought she will rise in such a way in a short span of time. All the more reasons to stay close to her. If people and industry saw us together. If they thought we were more than friends, I will get more opportunities.

I replied to Mani ka.
S:
"Akka ava enn friendu ka...avaluku unnum theriyadhu... Andha Ashwin avala use pandran! Adha ava kitta sonna avaluku kovom varudhu..."

Mani ka looked at me like i was an alien,

M:
"Yaaru Ashwin avala use panarana? Ada loosa da nee? Illa vonnaku boothi mangi poiducha?"

S:
"Enna ka neeyum nethu vandhavan ku support pandra? Nee enna thambi nu kupudra...ennaku thaane support pananum?"

M:
" Dei neeyum Ashwin um onna aga mudiyuma..?"

I started to smile thinking I hqd her support but she continued,

M:
"Naan vonna Thambi nu kupudradhu..is because you are younger than me...and namma same circle la work pandrom...ana Ashwin ennoda kuda porakadha Thambi...avanum seri Sivaangi uum seri...they are my family...silla pera evolo naal theriyum nu important illa...eppudi connect agurom nu thaan mukiyum...vonnaku lam adhu sonna puriyadhu..."

I looked at her in shock...

M:
"Inga irruku ellarum Avaluku unmaiya support panuvom..avala protect panuvom...vonnatam chumma orru vati aval protect pannitu...ooru fulla 'Naan avaluku support pannen' nu dammaram adichikitu suttha mattom!"

Saying this she left leaving me seething.

Then Sivaangi came in.

"Sollu Sam...yedho mukiyama pesu nu sonna?"

I looked at her and said,
"Nee enn panikitu irruka ?"

"Puriyelle?"

"Nee yen di Ashwin pinnadi poitu irruka? Avan vonna kandukurana? Illa vonna madhikurana? Nee..."

She raised her hand and said,
"Avara pathi onnuru vartha sonna..naan enna panuven nu ennake theriyadhu...Nee ennoda friend avolothaa ...theva illadha vishayathula thala idadha...I have told you this before also...I'm tellimg this again. YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM! Abara pathi pesa rights kedayadhu...I don't want to spoil our friendship...Bye"

She left leaving me hurt and angry.

Author POV

Unknown to them, Ashwin had followed Sk when she left. Following his protective instincts.

He heard everything since the walls of all the green rooms were thin.

He was extremely angry with the way Sam was treating her. He knew even though She was puting up a strong face and bravely facing him. She was extremely hurt inside. He knew she would end up crying due to this.

It is the duty of a King to defend his Queen and have her back at all times.

Ashwin entered the room after Sivaangi left.

Sam thought Sk came back and turned only to freeze at the glare Ak was giving him.

"Naan porumaya ...solluren...focus on your career...on your voice ..theva illadha vela venam.."

Sam didn't understand the basic fact that Ak was controlling his anger and said,
"Ennaku enn career pathuka theriyum...neenga solli thaan ennaku pakunum nu illa.."

Ak smiled sarcastically and said,
"Dei...naan vonnatom neraya pera ah pathuruken da...I can see right through you...but Nee avaloda friend...if I wanted I could have asked to cut her friendship with you..but I'm not that kind of a person...ennaku engaloda bond mela endha orru insecurities um illa..Infact I only told her to give you another chance...I don't usually say all this...but nee enna pesa vekura..."

He came closer and looked in Sam' eyes.
"Respect her. Don't hurt her..if you can follow that then hangout with her..if I see her crying or hurt and If I find out its because of you..."

Ak trailed out...threat implied..
With one last glare Ak left him alone.

Sam was shaking with fear. He was shook to the core.
