Ahsoka POV

It's been five years since (y/n) came to train under me. He was an immensely talented student. When he was three I decided that he was ready to attempt the Jedi test. He passed with flying colors and returned with two Kyber crystals. It took me two full years to perfect it, but I finally perfected (y/n)'s lightsaber.

"(y/n) I have a gift for you." I said as I handed him his very own lightsaber. "No longer will you train with my lightsaber. You will have to learn to wield yours." I said, this is no ordinary lightsaber, it can accommodate three different types of lightsaber combat. Naturally, it has the standard form, a two-handed grip with a single blade." I said as I took the lightsaber from him, "Next we have the dual-wielding function. By twisting the hilt at the top and bottom like so, you unlock both halves allowing for independent use." I said as I demonstrated how to split the hilt, "And finally, there is the double-bladed form. By combining the individual lightsaber halves like so, you'll create a powerful staff capable of a great many things." I said as I demonstrated putting the staff together before showing him how to return it to normal. "Understand that this is not a toy, nor is it a weapon. It is a tool. Anyone can wield a lightsaber, but only a force-wielder can become one with it and utilize its full capability." I said.

(y/n) POV

Master Ahsoka built me my lightsaber. One that only I can wield. "MASTER!" I said as I ran to my master, "What is it young one?" Master Ahsoka asked, "I was hoping that I could finally go on a mission. Not alone of course, I know I'm not ready for that just yet. But maybe with you or someone you trust?" I said hopefully, "You have made progress. Very well, you and I shall go on a simple training mission. We shall scout a distant planet called Nanbaca. It is supposed to be uninhabited, which makes it perfect for the rebellion as a potential base of operation." she said, "Thank you, Master." I said trying desperately to be respectful, but my excitement slipped out. My master laughed slightly before leading me away.

"And this is our ship." Master said as she motioned to our ship.

"But Master, that barely looks able to fly." I said nervously, "My young student. You have much still to learn. Starting with looks can be very deceiving." she said as we boarded the ship and took off.

"I feel a disturbance in the force. No, not a disturbance, this is too familiar." I said, "Nanbaca. That is where I shall find you. And when I do, I shall make your power mine and mine alone." I said as I entered hyperspace.

(y/n) POV

"Now let's begin. Tell me what is your lightsaber?" Master asked, "A tool. One whose purpose is to channel the force." I said, "And what does it represent?" she asked as we continued to walk, "It represents my connection to the force and my responsibility to the rebellion." I said, "Very good. Now what is the force?" she asked, "That's an easy one! The force is..." I began to say, "The force is power!" a woman interrupted, "And power is meant to be wielded by the strong." she said as she walked out in front of us and ignited her lightsabers.

"Hello, my dear. I am Ina Mest, or you may call me the Great Inquisitor." she said, suddenly Master ignited her lightsabers, "(Y/N) GET BACK TO THE SHIP!" Master shouted as she rushed at the Inquisitor and attacked. I ran back to the ship, but soon my master was sent flying ahead of me and the Inquisitor jumped past us and onto the ship, "(y/n) was it?" the Inquisitor said as she destroyed the ship's thrusters before she jumped down to me. "It would appear that you have a choice to make well not really." she laughed, "Join me and I shall get you off this planet. I shall teach you things that your master would never think of even mentioning! I will show you true power and how to wield it!" she said, "I have a master. And you're not her!" I said as I ignited my lightsaber, "You have a master for now." she said as she used the force to take my weapon, "Let's fix that shall we?" she said as she prepared to stab Master with my lightsaber, "NO!" I cried as I used the force to push her into the wall of a cliff. "(y/n)! You did well, now we have to run! She's strong and I must rest to get my strength back." Master said as I took back my weapon and ran.
