Chapter 13 : What's Popping?
~ Michael's POV ~
I kicked some sand, while the rest of the Pride groaned in impatience. Well, Jennifer and I were the ones that were being impatient really. Victor and Patrick were to busy worrying about their girlfriends to be impatient. I watched as the sun began to set and began to become concerned as well. After all, Lillian and Becca are two of my best friends. Jennifer was lying down on the sand with her head on my claws when a large yellow dragon roared at us. I pulled out my bow and arrow and aimed it at the electric dragon. He growled at me and landed in front of us.
The dragon eyed me threateningly, pulling a written book out of a small sack. The rude dragon threw the book at me and Jennifer, being Jennifer, let out a roar and jumped at the book, catching it in her mouth. She shook her head from side to side and I laughed at her silly intentions, which almost caused her to rip the book. Giggling, Jenny pulled the written book out of her mouth and opened it. When he saw Jenny open the book, the strange dragon flew back in the direction he came from. I waved at him with a big smile on my face, while Jennifer started to read out loud.
"Dear who ever is reading this, my name is Gold Steve. I am absolutely delighted to tell you that your friends, Lillian, Rebecca, and Sparkz, have been captured by my forces! Isn't that wonderful? Now, if you ever want to see your precious friends alive, I suggest that you hurry to find them in my dungeons. My dungeons are located in the directions Dillion just flew off in. Good luck." Jennifer read, her lips in curling downwards the whole time.
"WHAT?!" Victor and Patrick yelled at the same time. I slapped my hands over their mouths and imitated taking deep breaths. They inhaled and exhaled, slowly calming down, after I let them breathe.
"Alright. Let's just relax. Panicking isn't going to do us any good, right? Let's make a plan here." I reasoned. Victor nodded his head eagerly, Jennifer reread the message to herself, and Patrick stared off into the distance. I waved my hand in front of his face and poked him, causing him to snap back into reality. Jenny sighed and sat down on the sand, her legs crossed. I sat down next to her, while Victor and Patrick sat across from us.
"Ok. So, what are we going to do?" Jennifer asked.
"This is clearly a trap, but Gold Steve probably has captured Lilly, Becca, and Sparkz." Victor sighed.
"Ok. So, what are we going to do?" Jennifer asked in a flat tone of voice. I stifled a laugh, before I put my straight face back on.
"Two of us goes to save our friends, and two of us stay here?" Patrick suggested.
"And let me guess, it's gonna be you two who are going to save damsels in distress?" I teased, raising an eyebrow.
"If they're hurt, which they probably are, I can heal them. Patrick has a magical staff of power." Victor replied seriously. As soon as he said 'magical staff of power' Jennifer started giggling uncontrollably.
"That's what we're calling it now?" She whispered, still laughing.
"Yes." I whispered back, a bright smile on my face. Patrick sent us a glare, that was trying to tell us to stop laughing and take things seriously. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Alright, you two get on your way then. Preferably while we're young."
"Aright, cya!" Patrick waved, while Victor shape shifted into a nature dragon, bending down so that Patrick could climb onto his back. Patrick, being a show off, front flipped onto Victor's back. Victor growled at the sudden weight, but he reluctantly took off. Jenny and I watched them fly off into the distance, while we stood there and waited for something interesting to happen. Pouting, Jenny decided to made a sandstone castle. Since I didn't have anything else to do, I helped her.
~ TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT MORNING BROUGHT TO YOU BY HOT POCKETS ~
(A/N Yes, Michael and Jenny ended up finishing the sandstone castle, and they spent the night in it. Don't question my decisions in life because your mom said so.)
Bright light shining on me, I woke up to Jennifer curled up in her bed, asleep. She had slept without a blanket, her thick fur keeping her warm throughout the night. I had slept with my hoodie on, since I don't have fur. Lucky Bac. I mentally chuckled, throwing off my blue and white checkered hoodie and tied it around my waist. I dug the sand, which we had used to block most of the entrance of the castle, and put my bed back in my inventory with the mysterious magic of Minecraftia. Turning towards my best friend, I saw Jenny growling at the bright sunlight and laughed. When she heard me laugh, Jenny's ears perked up before flattening back onto the side of her furry head.
"I refuse to believe that it's morning. Stop shining light into my face." She mumbled.
"Jenny, it's morning. Victor, Lillian, Rebecca, and Patrick aren't back yet, and if you don't get out of bed, your breakfast will be cooked by the sun!" I laughed. Hearing that she might have to eat cooked fish for breakfast, Jennifer leaped out of bed and put the furniture back into her inventory. I tossed her a fish, a raw salmon, and she nibbled it a little, yawning. I grinned at her before I took a bite of bread, but I stopped abruptly when Jenny's ears popped up swiftly, her eyes alert.
"Do you hear that?" Jennifer asked. I stared at her in confusion and concentrated on listening for anything. For me it was rather quiet, but Jennifer, being a bacca hybrid, was incredible hearing skills. When I couldn't detect anything, I blinked blankly.
"Hear what? I think you're just hearing things you bac." I joked lightly.
"I hear stumbling, and I can smell a human. I've never smelled this human before. I can also smell a cat, and I can smell blood. I think the human is bleeding." Jennifer said, wrinkling her nose. Suddenly, I could hear some shuffling as well. I motioned for Jenny to walk with me towards the seemingly approaching Minecraftian.
When we walled outside, we indeed saw a person, and we was indeed bleeding. He stumbled a lot, but wasn't walking like a zombie and he wasn't on fire like a zombie would be. The man wore a white and purple jacket, a black undershirt, grey pants, and purple shoes. He was holding an iron sword and had large gashes on his left arm, right leg, and chest. Jenny and I ran towards the man and escorted him inside the castle. Up close, I could see he had slightly tanned skin, glazed over brown eyes, and black hair that covered his right eye. I pulled out my bed and Jenny helped him sit down.
"Are you okay?! Who are you? How did you get those injuries?" I asked. The man cleared his throat before he spoke.
"I'll live. My name is Jinbop, or, Jin. I forgot to find shelter for the night while I was traveling." The man, Jin, replied. I nodded, satisfied with his response, and allowed him to get some rest. Before long, he was asleep and Jennifer had stuffed the rest of her breakfast down her throat.

Don't worry, Agent Shed, the Dirt, Apple, and Afffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffmau will join us later. Anyway, I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter...
