Dead?!

Frisk's P.O.V.
It's been a few days since my fight with Sans. Grillby has been kind enough to let me stay. I even helped during work hours. I never did see Sans come.
I occasionally looked at the seat where Sans sat. I missed his permanent smile, his sweet but deep voice...I missed not calling him "mine." I didn't know if he missed calling me "his." I didn't know if he even wondered about me.
"Hello?? Earth to Frisk," Grillby caught my attention, waving a hand in front of me. "I asked you to bring this to table four."
"S-Sorry!" I apologized. Grillby handed me a normal glass of water and I delivered it to the farthest booth, next to the door.
I walked back to the bar, quickly cleaning dirty dishes. As I did, I once again looked at that one seat. A ketchup bottle was placed on the corner. I sighed as I picked it up. Empty.
I squeezed it a little before throwing it away. I continued bringing out drinks and food to customers.
~time skip~
"It was nice to see you, but right now...you gotta leave," I instructed, pointing to the door. "We're closing. You can always see me tomorrow."
"IT WAS NICE SEEING YOU, TINY NEKO! I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW AS ALWAYS!" Papyrus cheered, running to the exit. I giggled and waved. Then I thought about Sans.
"W-Wait! How is...--" I tried asking how Sans was doing, but I stopped in mid sentence. "N-Never mind. I'll see you!"
Papyrus nodded and ran out the door. I sighed. It hurt to say his name out loud. It hurt to talk about him. I kept replaying our fight over and over in my head. What I said to him. How I was an ungrateful prick.
"You were kind of shaky today," Grillby interrupted my thoughts. "Your pay for one day is ten G. Leaving seventy G left each week. I'm gonna have to take five away."
Grillby did what he said he'd do: take away five G, leaving me with only half of what I get paid once a day. I didn't really care.
"It's still a lot of money to get paid for," I said, taking the five pieces of gold. "S-Sorry about today. I was kind of out of it."
"You do this almost everyday," Grillby stated, keeping a calm tone. "To be honest, I'm just glad you're able to get orders quickly. You're RAISING my business from doing what you're doing."
"Eh, I try," I giggled. Grillby and I sat at the booth where I was sleeping. We decided to tamper with shot glasses. I did the cup song while Grillby made a pyramid.
"You have a nice voice," Grillby complemented, listening me sing quietly. I giggled as I continued to sing.
I finished the song slowly as I glanced at that seat. I don't understand why Sans got furious at me...did it really look like I enjoyed that kiss?
"So...I was thinking that we could have a little dinner by ourselves tomorrow night when the pub closes," Grillby suggested, taking down the neatly made pyramid. "Not in a romantic way, I mean. Won't that be fun?"
"Y-Yeah! Totally!" I accepted the offer. Grillby smiled before taking my shot glass. He put them away, ready for tomorrow.
"...Here. Take this," Grillby said, handing me thirty G. The gold sparkled in my hands. I sighed.
"I-I can't take--" I tried denying the offer, but Grillby pushed my hands to my chest.
"Buy the things you need, like a pillow and a blanket," Grillby instructed, shaking his head. "You look so uncomfortable every night. Take this and buy things that would make your stay more suitable."
I nodded as I walked out of the restaurant and to the store. I bought a fuzzy blanket, a small couch pillow, and a new plain hoodie. I left my cat hoodie back at the skelebro's house. Like hell I'd go back there. What would I say to either of them? What would happen between Sans and I?
I walked back to the restaurant with a bag full of things I needed. I knocked six times on the door, signaling that it was me. Grillby opened it, let me inside, and locked the door behind him.
I sighed as I set up my "bed." I wanted to know how Sans was doing. I couldn't get him off of my mind. Maybe if I ask something about Sans, I'd have some closure.
"G? H-Have you seen Sans around? H-How is he?" I asked Grillby. Grillby looked at me like I was crazy.
"Oh my god...you haven't heard!" Grillby said, cupping his mouth. I cocked my head at him.
"Heard what?" I asked, now getting scared. Grillby sighed.

       "...Sans is dead."
