Linh blushed but complied almost immediately while Sophie was groaning. 

"Well, Fitz found me in a hall because I got lost trying to find a bathroom that wasn't being used."

"I was crying, and he helped to clean me-"

Linh stopped after Sophie let out a particularly loud moan. 

"What's wrong? Tam not to your liking?"

There was a slight glint in her eyes as she said this though. 

"No, he is, but you just reminded me of something...."

Then Sophie flushed when she realized what she had said. 

Giggling, Biana turned back to Linh, gesturing for her to go on. 

"We'll listen to you after  Linh tells us about Fitz Sophie."

"Can we only listen to Linh?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"Because we want to hear it."

"And you told us you'd tell us!"

"Or do you want Biana to cook up something again?"

"It has something to do with dressing up, makeup, and a really fancy  gala where-"

"OKAY! I'LL TELL YOU!"

"Good. But shush now. I'm listening to Linh."

Quietly, Linh recounted the events leading up to Fitz asking her out.

"I wasn't really looking where I was going and saw Dex, so I slipped into the first hallway I saw." 

"He tried to follow me, but I didn't really want him to, so I kind of went on a wild goose chase, and got lost."

"Then I saw myself in a mirror and decided to go find a bathroom to clean myself up a little bit."

"I couldn't find one because I didn't really know where I was, but then I bumped into Fitz."

"I was embarrassed because I looked awful, and I didn't want him to see me like that, but he just took my hand and led me to this lovely bathroom Biana."

"It pulsed all of these colors of the rainbow, but especially blue."

"Oh, Biana, it was like it was made for me!"

"There were these little waterfalls, and gorgeous statues spit out water, and they were caught in small basins, it was beautiful!"

"I felt right at home, with the cool stone underneath my feet, and all the water everywhere, and oh, Biana. It was so peaceful."

Biana was very quiet.

"I've never seen the bathroom you're describing. It sounds like our 'special' places."

The way Biana emphasized the last part suddenly clicked in Sophie's mind.

"You guys all have rooms all to yourselves? Where you can just cool down and stuff?"

Biana nodded. 

"It's somewhere where only the person can access it, or they have someone with them. Linh, that's just, wow."

"I didn't know. Should I apologize? Did I do something wrong?"

Biana shook her head. 

"Fitz must really care and trust you to let you in to his 'special' place. Not even my parents have seen it."

"We all designed and built it ourselves, with just a little bit of help from the gnomes. But no other elf has really seen it."

"I don't think you need to apologize. It's just that's a really big thing."

"Oh, okay."

"Well, what happened after that?"

"Well, everything and nothing."

"We just sat there, and it was really soothing. I didn't know Fitz liked water so much."

"Yeah, I guess he does."

Sophie sat there, listening, happy for Linh, she was glowing so much, but, at the same time, it was hard not to feel a little wistful.

She sighed, and Linh glanced up at her, catching the melancholy on her friend's face. 

"Sophie, what's wrong?"

"Oh, I'm not really sure. I'm happy for you, I really am, and I'm happy with Tam, but at the same time, I feel....."

"Like you're seeing something, and you wish that was you in that situation?"

"Yes."

"I know how you feel. When I saw really happy families in Atlantis and Mysterium, I'd wish that was me and my family."

There was a quiet, and both Sophie and Linh turned to each other.

"Sophie, I'm really sorry about this. I-I wouldn't have said yes to Fitz so readily if I had known you liked him."

"Linh, I'm sorry for feeling jealous of you. I think you and Fitz are much better for each other than me and Fitz would ever had been."

The girls smiled at each other, knowing that all was forgiven.

"Enough about me and Fitz though. Tell me about Tam."

"Do you, uh mind that I'm dating him?"

"No, of course not!"

"When I got home the other day, he had a little smile on his face, and when I asked him why, he just shrugged and said that someone had some really kind things to say about him."

Sophie smiled fondly, blushing a bit and launched into a brief, but detailed enough to satisfy Biana and Linh account of the past few days with Tam. 

After a barrage of questions from the two girls, Sophie turned the tables. 

"Biana, I seem to recall you saying something about liking Dex to us."

Linh brightened. 

"Oh yeah! Tell us!"

Biana shrugged. 

"I said it to just throw you off so Linh wouldn't say that she was dating Fitz, which she said anyways, but as I said it, I realized it was true."

"He's really sweet, and even though we weren't friends util you came along Sophie, and not really even that at first, we've gotten closer. It's a change from everyone else, but a really nice, and welcome one."

Biana paused, and Linh suddenly got an "Ah hah!" moment look on her face.

"I just realized something. I don't really know how to word this, but the people we all like are connected to each other in a really interesting way."

"You're right Linh!"

"How?"

"So, you like Dex, right?"

"Yes..."

"So he used to like me. He was my first kiss, but we'll talk about that later."

"WHAT?!"

"Shh. Later."

"Fine."

"And Tam used to like you."

"He did?!"

"Yes. How you didn't know, I'm not really sure, with you being the romantic one and all."

"Huh."

"And Tam's related to Linh."

"And Linh is dating Fitz, who is your brother, and my previous crush."

"So it all kind of came full circle."

"Yeah. Strange."

The girls fell silent, thinking about it. 

"Huh."

"Keefe's really the only one out of this."

"Yeah, he is. Though, I used to like him, and he likes you, so...."

"WHAT?!"

"You didn't know that Sophie?!"

"No!"

"But he was always flirting with you."

"He does that to everyone!"

"Not anymore. Just you."

"Oh."

"Talk about clueless."

"Hey!"

"I'm not lying."

"......I guess......."

"Anyways, tell us about your kiss with Dex."

Sophie groaned. 

"Do I HAV-"

"YES."

"Fiiiiiiiiine......"

"Good."

And they all settled in for a good group talk.
