I wake up an look over at my phone to see the time"WHAT THE FUCK ITS ONLY 2am" I say to myself, I look over at my angel who's sleeping peacefully I get up slowly off the I don't want to wake her up. I grab my boxers and pants as I put them on I smell bacon cooking "Who in the hell,wait a minute I know who's cooking it's Matt" I say to myself as I shake my head. I head for the door but I'm stopped by her dog who walks up beside me with his tail wagging "shh okay boy you can come with me down stairs but don't wake her up with any barking okay" I say to him as I rub his head.We walk out the room an head down the stairs to where we see Matt cooking "When he does that it reminds me of our mother how she would cook when she had something on her mind" I say to myself as I watch him.

*Matt*

Me an Skyler get out of the pool after our little skinny dipping fun that we had I wrap a towel around her and myself before we walk into the house. We notice it's quite that means Daryl an Kate are upstairs in the bedroom, we walk up the stairs and get to the room as we do Skyler puts on new bra and panties on along with one my shirts an lays on the bed as for me I put on my boxers an sweat pants an lay down with her.She falls asleep as for me I close my eyes but my mind is wondering"What if the gang finds out what Daryl has done I'll have to step in and protect him from them" I say to myself .I get up out the bed and leave the room I walk down the stairs to the kitchen I remember Kate got bacon so I grab a pan and the bacon out the frigerator and start to fry it.

"Matt what are you doing up?" -Daryl.

"I was thinking is that okay ? Plus I was hungry! Why are you up?"-Matt

I look at Matt for a moment an sigh heavily before I answer his questions.
"It's okay to think Matt and because I was thinking about things" - Daryl

Matt looks at me for a moment an shakes his head.
"Let me guess about your shady ass business? Or the fact that you had Kate in danger!" -Matt

I shake my head as I look at him sideways.
"No Matt ! She was never in any danger I'm protecting her, I was thinking of something else"- Daryl

Matt looks at me with wide eyes.
"What else could you be thinking of Daryl?-Matt

I sigh an shake my head.
"Nothing never mind"- Daryl

I walk away from the kitchen with her dog right by my side you make our way to the doors that leads to the pool area we walk outside I go to the bar and grab a bottle of rum and a glass as I sit at the table. "Why does he always think I'm a bad person? We were never like that before!" I say to myself as pour myself some rum. I look at the moon "Honstly what I was thinking of was our parents they were killed in a car accident and I hated the person that took them away from us"I say to myself as I take a sip of my rum. Her dog takes notice to my feelings and lays his head on my lap I slowly rub his head "He must be able to pick up on emotions" I say to myself as I look down at him. I look over and see Matt with two plates with sandwiches on them as he looks at me with a smile.

*Matt*
I watch as Daryl walks away from the kitchen area I see Kate's dog walk right along side him as they go outside to the pool area."I know that look he was thinking of our parents that were killed in a car accident by a drunk driver" I say to myself. I grab the bread an two plates under the cabinet as I start to make two sandwiches "I never really think bad of Daryl I just know his in a gang that does shady shit! I mean fuck his my brother we were called the Ortega tornado brother's for reason no one messed with us when we worked togeather but all that changed" I say to myself as I finish making the sandwiches. I walk to the door that leads outside I see Kate's dog with his head on Daryl's lap and Daryl rubbing his head slowly "I see they like one another" I say to myself as I walk outside an stand right near Daryl with the plates in my hand with a smile on my face.

°Convo outside on patio°

Matt sits down and places the plates in front of us.
"Thanks Matt"-Daryl

"No problem,so tell me what you were thinking about an don't lie to me"-Matt

I take a bite of the sandwich first.

"Daryl you were thinking about Mom and Dad weren't you"-Matt

I swallow hard and look at him.
"Yeah I was I do think of them Matt, I miss them everyday don't get me wrong I'm greatful Grandmom took care of us when they past but we didn't make it easy on her either with all are stunts"

Matt shakes his head as he swallows.
"It's okay to think of them Daryl, I think of them to ,we were little happened but it was still painful for us both.Grandmom raised us right we just chose to act stupid at times"-Matt

Silence falls between us for a moment.*

Matt looks at me with curious eyes
"Daryl why did you join the gang? I want to know the truth"-Matt

I look at him and breath out heavily.
"You want the truth ? It was to protect you from your crazy ex-girlfriend I knew she was trouble I was trying to get you out of the fights the bike races but after you had your accident her two brothers wanted you dead so I really had no choice but to stay in to keep them away from you and now those two fuckers are behind bars for the rest of their lives"- Daryl

He looks at me shocked but he also has a concerned look in his eyes.

"Why didn't you just tell me this from the beginning? Why didnt you tell me they were after me? The accident wasn't just all my fault Daryl! I realize that now"-Matt

"It's about time you realize that your accident was not your fault your ex-girlfriend had a lot to blame for it all and when that happened I thought I'd lost you"- Daryl

Matt looks at me with tears in his eyes.
"You no I thought I was gone but I woke up and there you were by my side you helped me heal so thank you for that Daryl"-Matt

I slap his shoulder and smile.

"That what brothers are for right? To help one another out in time of need. We were called Ortega tornado brother's for many reasons" - Daryl

Matt laughs.
"They good times that we had whatever happened to that?"-Matt

I shrug my shoulders.
"I don't know but I do miss it " - Daryl

We remain silent as we continue to eat our sandwiches until we hear her dog start whimpering at the pool gate. I get up an run in the house an grab his leash I throw my shoes but I look over and see Matt putting on his shoes. He follows me out the house I reach her dog who's wagging his tail like crazy because he knows he's going for a walk I put his leash on, Matt rubs his head and opens the gate.

°Convo during dog walk°

We walk in silence for about 15 to 20 minutes while her dog sniffs around.

"Matt why did you come on the walk with me an him?" -Daryl

Matt looks at me sideways
"Your not the only one who likes her dog Daryl"-Matt

I shake my head an give him a smirk.
"I bet you didn't even know that her dog is a American Stafford Terrier also known as a pitbull"-Daryl

Matt smiles at me amused.
"I had a feeling explains a lot though, I mean with Kate and how she is she doesn't back down"-Matt

And with that remark my blood starts to boil.
"Matt don't go there!, something is telling me that she has been through something to make her that way and you know what I like it"- Daryl

Matt starts to laugh.
" Calm down I'm not saying nothing wrong I get that feeling like Skyler has been through something too"-Matt

I watch her dog grab a stick as he brings it to us to throw it for him. We toss the stick a few times tell him it seems happy when you play with him. American Stafford Terriers always get a bad reputation but it takes a good person to raise them up right and from what I can tell she has been raising him up right.

Matt looks at me as he brushes his hand through his hair.
"Answer me this Daryl why did you choose to date Kate"-Matt

I look at him as I let out a low growl.
" I choose to date her because I like her there's something about her I can't explain the way she makes me feel I like the feeling and I'm not going back on it"- Daryl

Matt looks at me then looks to starts.
"Ever since she's walked into your life honestly I can tell that you're changing and it's a good thing"-Matt

"What about you Matt why did you start to date Skyler?"- Daryl

He looks at me with a cheesy smile.
"I started dating her because we have stuff in common that and she's amazing and she stuck by me when I got jumped she didn't run away"-Matt

I smile an rub her dogs head as he sits near me
"It's the same with Kate the night I was assaulted at my own house she didn't run she stayed with me"-Daryl

Matt breaths out slowly.
" I think I'm falling for Skyler I mean she's beautiful smart intelligent funny all I'm really looking for"-Matt

I look at him with a big smile.

Matt looks at me confused.

I smile like a child at a candy store.

We start to head back to the house we both agreed we don't want to leave the girls there alone for a long period of time even though I have men walking around the house keeping an eye on it.

"Oh btw I had Kate move in with me"-Daryl

Matt grabs me by my shoulder almost causing me to fall backwards.
"YOU DID WHAT?"-Matt

Matt starts to run his hands down his face.

"Oh the day we had the ice cream right an MY house turned into a sex house nearly"- Daryl

"I knew I heard car leave that morning, but now I know why"-Matt

I laugh at him.
"Well now you know she lives with me, and she's well protected I'm not letting anything happen to my angel"- Daryl

He just shakes his head.

I roll my eyes at him and continue to walk back to the house. once we get there I address my men and ask them if anything had happened while we were away for a few moments. They tell us both no everything was fine and none of the lights went on. I tell them thanks any to and can you along with their work. We walk in the house an I take off her dog's leash and he runs to the chair in the living room I shake my head an Matt laughs.

I turn some music on but it to loud to wake up the girls Matt sits on the couch as for me I sit on he chair with her dog. We listen to the music an both grab a class to pour us some rum.

"You know Daryl I feel like your hiding something else from me"-Matt

I raise an eyebrow at him.
"Like what do you think I'm hiding from you?-Daryl

Matt looks at me sideways.
"I don't know it something an I can't shake the feeling"-Matt

I look at him an shake my head.
"You worry way to much Matt,calm down have fun in your life it's easier that way "-Daryl

Matt looks at me with discuss.

Matt looks at me with a raised eyebrow.

I just shake my head and sip on my rum.

Matt takes a sip of his rum an looks t me.

I breath out heavily but her dog begins to nudge me with his nose.
"Matt I'll tell you once more I'm not going to mess up what I have with Kate,I'm planning on having my happiness"- Daryl

Matt leans back an look at me almost as if he trying to read my thoughts, but I'm too smart for that I never reveal my thoughts to anyone it's like you're playing chess and I am protecting me and my queen.

"You know Daryl I think Mom and Dad would be proud of us right now including you because of the way you're changing"-Matt

I look at him a little taken back from what he said.
"Do you really think so?"-Daryl

Matt shakes his head.
"Yes I Really think so"-Matt

He just smiles.

We sit there and listen to the music an drink more rum for awhile.

"Remember when we pulled the fire alarm in school"-Matt

I laugh.
"Oh god that was to funny everyone ran out the school and it was a half day on top it off"-Daryl

He laughs so hard that tears start to come out of his eyes.
"The teacher's we're running around trying to figure out what happened while us pre-teens we're outside chilling"-Matt

I whip tears from my eyes.
"Oh god and when they found out we got suspended for two weeks, but Grandmom didn't get mad she laughed about it and she told us she had done the same thing in her youth"- Daryl

Matt practically falls on the floor laughing I can't help it I start laughing until her dog starts to bark we both shh him and he stops his barking. I rub his head an he gives me that same smile he gives Kate now I can understand why she smiles back him it's kinda cute in a funny way. We look at the time an we didn't even realize it was almost 5o'clock in the morning we were having fun laughing an going down memory lane to even think about anything else.

We walk up the stairs with her dog right beside me as we get to our rooms.

°Convo hallway°

"Hey Daryl thank you for telling me , well you know"-Matt

I shake my head.
"Your welcome Matt, and thanks for telling me that mom an dad would be proud of me "-Daryl

Matt looks at me like I was a child who was about to burst into tears.

"Your welcome Daryl"-Matt

He comes over to me and hugs me I hug him back this is what brother bond is about, knowing you can talk to your brother about things that really you can't talk to anybody else about even if you both don't agree on certain things our bond can't really be broken. We look one at one another then smile as we walk into the bedrooms after saying goodnight /good morning or whatever it is.

*Daryl*

I walk into the room into the room as shut the door slowly I watch her dog head for his bed and lay down as he watch's me."Good boy" I say in a whisper as I take off my shoes an pull off my pants along with my boxers, I make my way to the bed and I slowly get on as I lay down I look over an see her laying there sleeping peacefully. "I am falling for her, but how can I tell her that I love her? Maybe over a fancy dinner? No that's played out maybe during sex ? No that would be awkward" I say to myself. What if she loves me but then again what if she doesn't I shake my head as I pull her close to me, Matt an me had a good conversation some moments got heated emotional and I even told him the truth why I stayed in the gang. When I told him the truth it was like a weight was token off of my shoulders, I've been hiding the truth from him for awhile now and I'm glad I told him. But what he doesn't know that I'm getting out of the gang and I'll be free from it all,I lay a kiss on my angel's head and I slowly close my eyes as sleep takes me over.

I walk into the room an in slowly shut the door I take off my shoes and look her at Skyler who's sleeping peacefully "I am falling for her and yet I'm okay with it" I say to myself as I lay in the bed next to her as I pull her close to me having her practically laying on me. " I wonder if I should tell her how I feel maybe I should take her on a nice date and tell her but then again what if she doesn't feel the same way? Or what if she feels the same" I say to myself , I shake my head lightly to clear that thought out of my head. on the other hand me and Daryl had a heart-to-heart conversation he told me why he stayed in the gang I had no idea that my ex's brothers were after me it wasn't my fault for what happened. but something tells me Daryl's not telling me everything, we even talked about our parents which is both hard on us. I found out that Kate moved in here with him "I had a feeling"I say to myself. I look at Skyler she's so beautiful the way she sleeps, I lay a kiss on her head and I slowly start to close my eyes as sleep kicks in.
