After Endeavor was officialized as the #1 hero and fought a powerful Nomu with Hawks, everyone headed to bed. (Y/N), though, felt that something was off.

"Midoriya."

The green-haired boy bends down, "Yes, (Y/N)?"

"I'm sleeping in your room tonight."

Midoryia pauses, then smiles and picks up the small child. The two say goodnight to everyone else and enter Midoryia's dorm room. Silently, they lay down and begin drifting off to sleep.

But (Y/N) can't sleep.

Midoryia stirs back and forth, constantly waking (Y/N) up. Using their father's quirks, they access his dreams. (Y/N) stands beside a row of adults. Or at least, ghosts of adults. Midoryia stands beside them. Only his right hand and the top half of his face is visible. The rest of him is a black abyss. He looks down at (Y/N) with wide eyes, recognizing her.

They both watch the memory of All for One play until the very first user of One for All—(Y/N)'s uncle—talks to Midoryia.

"You're the ninth user, right?"

The dream suddenly ends and the two are awake. Midoryia's room is ransacked. He breathes heavily beside the child, in a push-up-like position.

"What are you doing this late at night?"

In the doorway, Aoyama stands in his PJs. He gocks at the mess of the green-haired boy's room.

"Are you two okay?"

He tries to approach the two, but Midoryia stops him.

"Not right now, okay?" He looks at (Y/N), the terrified child below him, "You should go with Aoyama. I don't—I don't want to hurt you."

(Y/N) shakes their head, "No! I can feel that something is off. I have to stay here with you! Your energy level is higher than ever!"

Midoryia smiles, patting their head, "I love that you want to watch over me, but your safety comes first. Aizawa would have my head if anything happened to you."

Aoyama picks up the child, whispering apologies as they try to wiggle out of his grasp. They know it's too dangerous to use most of their quirks inside the dorms, and eventually gives up. Midoryia cleans his room then heads outside to go for an early run. Aoyama and (Y/N) fall back asleep not long after. Later that day, class 1-A gathers in athletic field gamma. Most of the students have upgraded their costumes for the colder season. Winter.

"The tides are rolling our way now!"

Class 1-A glances over to see 1-B with Monoma mockingly laughing in a peculiar position. (Y/N) crosses their arms, slowly approaching the blonde with an annoyed expression.

"Today is the day we settle this rivalry!" He continues, failing to notice the baby staring at him from below, "Check out this survey I took at the Culture festival. Which did people prefer? Class 1-A's dinky concert or Class 1-B's ultra high-quality theatrical production. Well, take a look!"

As Jiro and Kirishima, as well as other students look over the 'survey', (Y/N) begins giggling.

"He's lying. He added an extra few votes to feel better." They say, continuing to laugh.

Monoma groans, turning away with crossed arms. 1-A laughs along with the child.

"We have a guest."

The class turns to see Hitoshi Shinso. (Y/N) smiles as he explains that he wants no friends and that he's only here to boost his chances of being transferred into the hero course. In the back, accessing his thoughts is (Y/N).

They know the truth.

He does want to make friends.

"Let's get started, battle training time! It's a series of matches pitting class A against class B! The battlefield is one section of Athletic field gamma! Both classes will split into teams of four and square off against another team!"

Aizawa continues until all the rules are explained and the students draw lots to see who's on what team. Vlad, Midnight, Aizawa, All Might, and (Y/N), along with other members of class 1-A and 1-B watch as teams battle against each other. (Y/N) watches closely, learning class b's new moves ever since they helped them train.

After the first few rounds, Aizawa allows the class to take a short berak. He leaves for a moment and when he comes back, he picks up (Y/N).

"Vlad, you can continue this exercise," He says, "(Y/N) and I have some business to deal with."

Not thinking anything of it, Vlad lets the two leave, despite the odd situation. Everything continues as normal until a sudden rise in kinetic energy startles the child.

"It's alright, (Y/N)," Aizawa says, "Everything will be okay."

After they leave the training area, (Y/N) starts getting suspicious. What does their dad need them for? Suddenly, as the two step through the gates of UA high, they're ambushed.

Back in the athletic field gamma, Shinso has just stopped Midoriya from going berserk with his new found quirk within One for All. Monoma decides to continue fighting despite the situation. When the fight's finally over, Aizawa approaches.

"Aizawa?" Sero questions, "Where's (Y/N)?"

The teacher pauses, "What are you talking about? I left them here with you guys."

The aura changes into pure confusion. The students pause as they notice Aizawa's face. Quickly, Principal Nezu is contacted and he, as well as many other UA teachers begin going through their camera feeds.

"There!" Vlad points, "That's when Aizawa left without (Y/N) for a moment."

Nezu skips the feed ahead a few minutes and the faces on all of the teachers flash with fear. Toga Himiko broke into UA high as Aizawa's imposter and took (Y/N).

"Where did they go?" Aizawa asks, concerned.

"We can't see," Nezu replies, "The last camera is too far away to get a clear image."

"We have to find them."

(Y/N) sits on the cold concrete floor staring angirly up at their brother. A quirk-canceling device sits on their neck. The League of Villains stand around, calmly staring at them, contemplating what to do.

"So what now, Shigaraki?" Spinner asks, "We got them."

The tired-looking pale man bends down on one knee, lightly patting his sister's head, "Leave us."

Reluctantly, the other members of the League of Villains leave the two siblings alone.

"I'm sorry."

(Y/N)'s face distorts into confusion.

"I should've been a better brother," He continues, "If I was a better brother, you wouldn't have run away to stay safe. You'd be here, training and your quirk would be further ahead. You could be unstoppable. We can still help you, y'know." He pauses, reaching out to his sibling, "We can enhance your quirk's abilities if you come back to us."

(Y/N) stares at his hand, contemplating the backlash and consequences.
